Bin to Bin error

Hi All,
Can not Bin to Bin ...getting error message
Can't explain why this is not working....may be because base unit is kg's? This is material that has been returned to us. The bin is the Delivery number (xxxxxxxxx) , but when try to take out the amount for one pallet you get the pop up message (requested amt couldnt be supplied.) But , next I did a bin to bin with 1LB and it took....but then when I tried to bin it back....it left rounding amount? So basically there are two questions.....why will it not let us break this down...and why did it leave rounding amount in bin for just a regular bin to bin? I have shipping had to do a LT01 (manual TO) to get the amounts moved?
When I did next bin to bin, I only did 1lb and it took?
Then I bin to bin back the 1lb and it left material in bin

SAP says in OSS 1595843 - No warning message is issued for a short pick in transaction LT01 :
Transaction LT01 is use for internal warehouse moves (bin to bin transfer). Even if the requested amount is higher on the initial input screen, it is only physically possible to move what is actually available in that bin. As the TO is always manually created, it is assumed that the warehouse operator is aware of the stock that is being moved from point A to point B.

I am using OWB 11gR2 and I am getting "perl" location error after start workflow for any dimension or fact.
*Cannot run program "/usr/bin/perl": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified
The log is below. I am using Windows 2008 R2 OS and 11gR2 DB. The perl path is set in the environment variables and I can run the perl.exe from command line.
Why OWB is looking for the Unix base path "/usr/bin/perl": is a question for me.
If anybody knows the issue please guide me.

Firefox-bin fatal relocation error libthebes.so symbol round referenced symbol not found

I compiled Firefox 3.6.23 on Solaris 9. When I try to start firefox it exits with the following error.
ld.so.1 firefox-bin: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/local/lib/firefox-3.6.23/components/../libthebes.so: symbol round: referenced symbol not found killed

It is not in the java documentation because it is not a java problem.
When you write JNI code (or any other code for that matter) you probably should look at the documentation for the compilers and other tools that you are using for recommendations for how to use these third party tools.
What would have been surprizing to me, is if your C++ compiler manual did not recommend linking with the standard C++ library when you use code contained in the library. Which was the problem here.

/etc/init.d/oracle-xe status gives /bin/su: /bin/bash: Permission denied

Hi all,
This is my first attempt at Oracle so I tried XE on a linux machine (RedHat Enterprise).
Install and configuration went fine, however trying http://localhost:8080/apex gives me a connection refused message. So i tried '/etc/init.d/oracle-xe status' to check the status. However i got the following message : '/bin/su: /bin/bash: Permission denied'.
I installed as root. What gives? What did i do wrong?

Fixed that issue. I had to set the permission to enter the directory also and to execute these two files. I have the following problem now though. See below:

1. Through which transaction we can do a bin to bin transfer?
2. When I try to do bin to bin transfer it is giving error, Quant is blocked, how quant gets blocked?
3.How I can remove this block?

Use LT01 to transfer material from bin to other.

please check whether any physical inventory document is active without clearing, if so please clear it before using this bin.
3.How I can remove this block?
if it is manually blocked then use LS06 to remove the block.

Stock bin to bin movement in the warehouse

Dear Experts
I am defining few storage types (for ex: A,B,C,D) in my warehouse.I am receiving material 'X' into the warehouse.
The business scenario is to move the material X from A to B and then B to C and then C to D provided that Storage type A and B have single storage bins.Its not a special stock, not in special stock category. The material is not supposed to be directed from A to C Or A to D.
All the movements are verymuch internal bin to bin movements.But we need a system guided movements.
How would I do this? Any special configuration Or development needed for this scenario.

You are right ..this way it does not work.
I could see the only option is to define parameter table with the fields like
Whare are you
(Source storage type field) : picking from : Destination St type: movement type
       A                     :                       -     :            B        :           999
       B                    :                        -     :            C         :          999
       C                      :                      -      :           D           :        999
I might need to define few more fields in this parameter table
When we run a custom transaction for Bin to Bin move, It initially reads this table
When the user scan the first location(sourc st type), It would read the first record of the parameter table and
moves the stock desitnation storag type.In the same way for B to C and C to D.

Enhancement for bin to bin stock transfer

when i am using stock transfer bin to bin using LT01 transaction, an information message have to raise when same material/batch if destination bin already having.........
i already searched enhancement for above process "MWMTO001" i am correct or not?

Yes, that's correct. You are using the right enhancement.
It has the LTAK and LTAP tables which is the transfer order tables. This function will trigger during the TO creation.

what config settings required for this

which interim storage type we need to link the printer

Print determination is WM is done in transaction OMLV. Major steps include
1. Define spool request.--> Here you define spools and how it should be configured like new spool request, delete after spool out put.
2.Definition of Print code--> Here you assign form to each print code
3. Assign Print code to movement type--> For each mvt type assign print code. In automatic determination of printer, system checks whether any print code is assigned to each mvt type in a warehouse.
4.Assign Printer to Warehouse--> Once form and other information is determined in above steps, system checks for printer for a warehouse in this configuration.If no printer is assigned, then it will proceed to next step that is step 5 here below
5.Assign printer to picking area--> Assignment of printer to picking area.If this paramter is not maintained then it will go to next step. That is step 6 here
6.Assign printer to Storage type--> It will fetch printer if nothing is mentioned in step 4 & 5 above.
7.Print Report--> Assign print program to ware house. This the last step in config.

Pl refer OSS note 13006 which says
It is not possible to transfer vendor consignment stock from one plant to another plant (movement types 301 to 306 for special stock 'K').
A stock transfer by means of a delivery is also not supported (movement types 641, 643, 647).
Cause and prerequisites
This program function is not supported.
In order to implement this program function, it would be necessary to find a solution to the business-related aspect of the valuation problem:
Since the consignment price of a material from a vendor can be different in the two plants involved, it would be possible to manipulate the consignment liabilities towards the vendor prior to consignment withdrawals by performing a transfer posting and thus transfering the consignment stock to a suitable plant.
Solution
You can post the stock transfer in two steps:
1. Post the stock issue in the issuing plant using movement type 562 in combination with the special stock indicator 'K', for example.
2. Post the stock receipt in the receiving plant using movement type 561
in combination with the special stock indicator 'K', for example.

Stop oraagent.bin & orarootagent.bin in a Server

I am trying to install an Oracle Server in a RAC node. There are 2 services blocking the installation. The Wizard tells me that I have to stop those services.

I am trying to to do it so:

but those processes are still alive. How can I do to stop those services ?

Bin to Bin transfer(Urgent)

Hello Guys,
I have a question. We have a problem in warehouse and can anyone help me out of this scenario:
We have a warehouse, and we perform cycle counting to check the inventory. We want all the bins to hold the same quantity (say 100), if a bin has more than 100 items it is moved to the next neighbouring bin. So, all the bins exceeding 100 items (unique) get into a "NEW" bin and consequntly the count in the bin increases (from 0 to 100). In this process,
Say bin 1 is the bin from which material is removed and bin 2 is the bin to which material needs to be transfered. The status of the material in "Bin 1"is "unrestricted" but when it moved to "bin 2" it needs to be turned to "Block" until the bin gets filled completly. After the bin gets the required count(100), the status of the material needs to be changed back to "unrestricted".
Note:
1.Material used is unique
2.Bins can contain more than 100 items, but to make all the bins contain equal amount we carry out the process (making all the bins to contain equal amounts)
2.Status of the material needs to changed from un-restricted to blocked (during bin to bin trasfer) and back to unrestricted after the count is reached

For LQ02 - Movement type 344 not showing up here's what you need to do:
go to
SPRO - Logisitics Execution - warehouse management - interfaces - inventory management - define posting changes
Here select any exisiting entry, copy it and edit it . It would probably look like this
<WHNO>. 344 Posting change-blocked 344 -- S
The "S" in the column Stock category destination is imp and you can se it to S - blocked.
This will add 343 & 344 for allowed posting changes for that particular warehouse and then it'll visible in the dropdown as well.
For blocking bins go to trx LS06 and block the bins there , you can do that via LS02n too by selecting the bin and in the status tab, selecting the "stokc removal block"

You can call this FM more than once if you want to transfer more items,
or you can call L_TO_CREATE_MULTIPLE if you want to create more items
in one FM call.

There is no particular technique for this. You can use single or collective method (LT01 or LT10).
Provide the source SU and destination storage type and bin and save the TO. Your transfer will be complete.
The SU number will be lost because you have moved the stock to a non SU storage type.
