Bios corruption please help me!!! Screenblack and failed upgrade

I was upgrading my BIOS in my notebook, an envy 17, unfortunatedly the battery died in the process. My notebook cant restart again, it only has a beep with the blockmayus, and its all. Im sure that is a Bios corruption, i need help with the pendrive, i hope that the recovery USB can resolve this problem

Hi,
HP notebook computers have an emergency BIOS recovery feature that allows you to recover and install the last known good version of the BIOS from the hard drive, as long as the hard drive remains functional.
Try restoring BIOS using instructons in this HP web document. You have to strictly follow it to elicit a positive response. The timings are of utmost importance and you've keep on trying many times.
If that didn't work, try recovering the notebook BIOS using an external storage device (USB key) as mentioned in the doucment ...
The latest HP UEFI BIOS Update SoftPAQ is sp69886.exe . Run the installer and create a USB key as per instructions from another PC.
(This package contains the WinFlash utility and a system BIOS image for the supported notebook model running a supported operating system. The WinFlash utility is used to locally flash the system BIOS (ROM) on notebooks operating in a Microsoft Windows environment.)
Previous version of HP UEFI BIOS Update SoftPAQ sp66941.exe , is also available. You can try with this if latest one don't work out.
Note: Keep the laptop plugged in with AC adapter to Power supply during the whole process.

Call Apple and they will send you a box to ship it in for service. Should take less than a week to get it back. Mine was picked up on a monday, and I got ti back on a thursday.

Is this what you downloaded: iTunes 10.7?
When the update fails what if any error report do you get, specifically? Please do this before trying again:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

Playlists only exist as part of the larger iTunes library listing so if you are not seeing it there it doesn't exist anywhere else. I know with my older version of iTunes it is very easy to accidentally delete a playlist. With newer versions it may be possible to recover it with the undo feature in the menu but this likely will only work immediately after the deletion.

I got my first imac a few days ago, and i decided to install Adobe CC.
When i want to run Adobe Bridge, says "the operation could not be completed", the same happens with Adobe After Effects.
And I also have a problem with Premiere, when i want to export a project says that premiere must close.
This is the try version, is this a problem of Adobe or Apple? i'm very worried

Bueno los pasos son:
2. Select Go from the Finder Menu.
3. Select Computer.
4. Select Macintosh HD.
5. Select Users.
6. Select your user profile.
7. Right click on user profile. Select Get Info.
8. Go to bottom and unlock with admin password to make changes.
9. Make sure your user profile has Read and Write privileges by selecting from dropdown menu.
10. Go down to wheel at very bottom and select Apply to enclosed items. This should allow Adobe Bridge to run properly.

Please Help! -- I tried to upgrade FLASH PLAYER, but I have an older MAC laptop OS X 10.4 = Version 4.1.3 (4533.19.4).
I need to UPGRADE Flash Player; however it's not available -- Recently, I cannot watch some videos or access particular websites.
I'm a teacher, and CAN'T AFFORD to buy a new computer at this time.

Unfortunately, if you're running OS 10.4, odds are that your Mac is a PowerPC model (-About This Mac will let you know for certain), and the newest version that will run on your system is Flash Player 10.1.102.64 and 9.0.289.0 (126 MB)
That's a direct link to the download, you can right click (or control+click) and save it to your downloads folder. Expand it with Stuffit Expander and run the 10.102.64 installer.
That's the best that can be hoped for because if your Mac is PowerPC, and I suspect it is, even Apple no longer supports it since September of 2009. The next OS X version (10.5) won't run the latest Player either. You'd need an Intel Mac with 10.6.3 or newer to use Flash Player 11.8.800.94.
PowerMax does have some really good deals on "pre owned" Macs. I've bought three from them myself over the years.

Please Help...Installer Failed To Initialize

I am a member of Creative Cloud and have been working ALL day to download Premiere Pro CS6 because I need to work on a project. I keep running into errors on Adobe Installation Manager, "Installation Failed. Download is corrupt", and I have been now running into "Installer won't initialize" when I use the Adobe Download Assistant instead to get the program downloaded.
I am not finding an Adobe Installer program in my applications. Maybe it was mistakenly deleted? But I cannot find anywhere on Adobe to get this Installer program so that it will initialize and I can get Premiere going on my computer.
Please help. I am going to lose all my hair at this point. I've used Adobe products for quite awhile and have NEVER had this issue.

Tried again this morning but first I downloaded Photoshop to see if that would work but it prompted me to update my Adobe Application Manager. I did and the program installed with no issue. So did AfterEffects. I attempted to install Premiere Pro again and this time, after running the .dmg file, it installed.
No idea why this suddenly resolved unless it was an issue with Application Manager. Problem is, I only found a way to update that program by the roundabout method of trying to install another program. Baffling but at least I can use Premiere now.
Not sure if this will help anyone else but this was frustrating.

Bad BIOS Flashing - Please Help !

I'm having a serious trouble because the BIOS UPDATE failed since I had a power outage while I was updating the BIOS.
Since that, I couldn't get any video output, it's only 8 beeps with the orange light, and then the blue light and nothing happens. Is there a way to prepare an USB KEY with the BIOS updates, initiating the CPU with the Windows+B keys pressed on?
I've tried to apply the BIOS UPDATE SP63535 who had the BIOS version ANP_704.bin
Please HELP ME, thanks a LOT !!!

Please Help. Photoshop installation failed half way through

Initially I had downloaded the photoshop CC2014 trial once, I paid I wanted the CC version because I need the oil paint function which was taken out on the CC2014 version, so what I did is uninstall the CC2014 which was installed and working and proceeded to install the CC version but midway through installation it kept failing and telling me to restart my computer, I have done that at least half a dozen times, plus I've also tried the following:
> I uninstalled every adobe app I had including CC
> I have used the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool app
> Have restarted my computer so many times I lost count and I still get the same error, half way through the installation process
> And now the same thing is happening when I try to reinstall illustrator, this is a nightmare!
BTW I'm not running any other software while doing this and have turned off the fire walls
I'm on an Imac OS X version 10.9.5
Please help I've spent so manny hours trying to solve this, it's driving me crazy and need to complete some work in photoshop I have deadline.

PLEASE HELP! iMovie and .MPG Files

Hello. Please help me. I'm on a G5. 10.5.3. iMovie 7.1.2 (577) I have a series of .MPG files that I need to import into iMovie to edit, arrange and then export over to iDVD, etc. iMovie does not see the .MPG files. The Apple site states that iMovie sees only MPEG-4 files and DV files. I also own Quicktime Pro 7.5 (149.5). When I open the .MPG file in Quicktime Pro, even though the file plays perfectly, when I select "Export to MPEG-4" so I can create a readable file by iMovie, I get an error message that say's "Failed: Export process terminated unexpectedly (10). Complete frustration. Is there another way I can convert these files so iMovie can see them? What's wrong with my Quicktime Pro? I bought DivX Pro last night. I thought maybe that program would make an iMovie readable file. No luck. I used DivX to convert and it created a DivX file with NO SOUND. Wasted money.
If anyone has any solutions for my problems noted here or possible alternatives so I can achieve what I'm trying to do successfully, PLEASE ADVISE as soon as possible.

I remember reading about the reason for Apple doing this, and I forgot exactly why it is, but I think it had something to do with some legal issue. I also read that this is why Mac OS has a separate DVD Player instead of just playing DVDs right inside of QuickTime.

I m a student for oracle 10g. while practicing I manually edited the spfile. Now the database in not starting as it should be.
To get this solve I tried to start db (ORCL) with sample orcl file. but the following scene occurs.
I m working on windows xp.
SQL> startup pfile=d:\init.ora;
ORACLE instance started.
Total System Global Area 167772160 bytes
Fixed Size 1247876 bytes
Variable Size 62915964 bytes
Database Buffers 96468992 bytes
Redo Buffers 7139328 bytes
Database mounted.
ORA-01122: database file 1 failed verification check
ORA-01110: data file 1: 'D:\ORACLE\PRODUCT\10.2.0\ORADATA\ORCL\SYSTEM01.DBF'
ORA-01207: file is more recent than control file - old control file
please help me.

ok, try this
get the parameters out of the spfile that you tried to edit manually, save those in the d:\init.ora and make sure that you have copied only ascii characters and not some binary data that is in the spfile.
The try to start the db like you did before with
startup pfile=d:\init.ora
if it starts do
create spfile='d:\spifle.ora' from pfile='d:\init.ora';
and you will have a new spifle again
