how do you turn off or disable the password in bios when computer reboots or starts it makes me enter my password i didnt realize that was what i did until i cant turn t off i though it was windows password but its not

Here is a guide to help you change the settings to logon automatically without entering the password. I have used this guide many times.

Entering a "$" in the SSID password when setting up an HP Photosmart 2710 all-in-one printer

Hello,
I have a Photosmart 2710 all-in-one printer, and I am trying to set it up wirelessly. However, my SSID as a "$" in the password, and I can't find any way to enter this symbol in the wireless setup on the printer. Also, when I try to run the HP Printer setup wizard I downloaded from the HP support site, it says this printer is not supported by the wizard?

You must change your wireless password in the router to not conntain any special characters. Once done, go back and input the password in the printer.

Need to get to my desk top

Can not get beyond the apple icon after powering up. How do I get to desk top? I asked this question of the community once before without much success. I was asked what was the operating software but since I can not open to the desk top I can not find out. Any suggestions? Between the battery and the computer serial number I am coming up with 2006/2007 as manufacturing dates.

Need help finding 10.2 desk top flash player

only one that i can find currently is trying to install to my web browser
but i need the one that can launch swf files from my desk top

Do you need the standalone player (Projector), to play local swf files?
The archived versions do contain some standalone (sa) players, but the ones I've just opened only contain the debug players.
The best is if you download the latest sa player from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html - it should be fully compatible with older swf files.
Note that the download is the projector, not an installer, so you will have to make the file association manually.

I did have my printer installed, and was using the printer for 3 laptops wireless within my home. Now I can not even find my Backup disk, so i need help with downloading the software to use my printer, and also get it back to being used wireless. I do not know what happened, but the fax for this printer is listed, just not the printer itself. please help!

Need to reinstall on my desk top but do not have another browser so I can ot get online to access the website to download.

My computer crashed when firefox was updating and now when i try to open it i get the error " This application has failed to start because nss3.dll was not found. re-installing the application may fix this problem.". I do not have another web browser so i cant just re-install from internet. Can I download firefox to a thum drive with another computer and then install it that way?

What exactly you mean by, it does not works on Mobile devices ? The site does not opens at all ? If there is no rendition defined for Phone or Tablet then by default site will show desktop version.
In order to create Phone/tablet device you would need to create those where only structure and fills will be copied , rest for page contents you would need to design separately for all layouts.

I have requested some assistance from a colleague and I am sorry to say, we could not find am HP download for the Photosmart Premier 6.0 and 6.5. The only thing I could find is a support document for those who still have said software; Using HP Photosmart Premier 6.0 and 6.5 in Windows XP.
As for the lighscribe, is your PC the a1630n? I couldn't find the a163n. If you do indeed have the a1630n, you could try the LightScribe System Software Update.
This is the best I could find.

Need generic print driver for Officejet 7210 all-in-one on Windows 8.1

Updated my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, which removed my print driver for an Officejet 7210 all-in-one. Attempted to reinstall. Error that file not found. Followed detailed process to a tee (deleted temp files, removed startup programs, everything). Driver doesn't work but printer does with other computers. Printer is no longer supported and no help (but is in great working condition).
I'm looking for a generic driver that would work with my printer and Windows 8.1. I really appreciate any help...

Hi LChristofaro,
I have researched your error message and the Msiexec.exe error and it is an issue with windows installer. I recommend restarting your windows installer.
To do this:
1. Run "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks).
2. Double-click "Windows Installer" in the Services list.
3. Click Stop and click OK.
4. Click Start and click OK.
Restart you computer and try the install again.

I have misplaced or lost the CD that came with my HP 5610 All in One printer. Now using a computer that does not have the program loaded. I do have a laptop which shows the 5610 icon on it. Can this be down loaded onto a CD?

I have the same problem. I downloaded the recommended software and it won't finish installing; it simply quits (the process evaporates) part way through, _after_ downloading updates. I notice others reporting the same facts. Is it possible that download file is bad? Is there an ISO of the original CD on the WWW so I can just download that and burn a reliable CD? BIOS UPGRADE - HOW TO DISABLE POWER-ON PASSWORD

I have a message to download and install a BIOS upgrade. The instructions were:
Do not power off while the BIOS is being updated.
The AC-Adapter must be used during the update process.
Power-on passwords must be disabled.
My questions are:
1) Is this the password that I use to logon to the laptop?;
2) How do I disable this Power-on password?

Don't confuse this with the Windows password. The "user password" is described on p. 113 of your User's Guide. If you don't know about it, then you haven't set one.
