Is there a way of getting the birthdays in the contacts to show in the calendar on my 5300 ?

In one day I set up yahoo account and made mobile notifications. This was one correct way to be gently always.
You'll receive SMS alerts in needed date for free of charge. Certainly there are some organize applications to install on your mobile. But, why to pay if you can don’t do that?

Getting birthdays in the next 30 days

Hello,
i have a database which is filled with information about all the people you know. One of the columns in the database is the birthday of this person.
Now i would like to know which persons gonna have their birthday in the next 30 days.
If it is possible I would get these persons with 1 SQL-Query but I think it is not that obvious.
Another way is to get all birthdays and process them with Java code which I know how to do this, but I think it will be more efficient with 1 SQL-Query.
But the problem with the SQL-Query is that you must not take the year into account, only the day and months.
Does anyone have an SQL-Query which can accomplish this?
Btw: I'm using an Apache Derby database.

I was planning to use the BETWEEN function, but the problem is that the day of birth is stored in the database, so for example this could be a date in the year 1980. This year should be converted to the current year and then compared with the system date (difference of 30 or with the between function).

How do I add my friends birthdays to the pre installed "birthdays" calendar on my iPad 2

I have added birthdays to the default calendar but there is a birthdays one and I want to put my friends birthdays on that calendar but it won't let me. When I look under calendars there is a calendar called birthdays under other but I can't use it.

That calendar uses birthdays entered for your contacts. My contacts come from my Mac's Address Book and if I delete a contact's birthdate in my Address Book, it is also deleted from my iPad's Calendar.

After last icloud backup, unrequested by me public holidays in the UK have been marked on the calendar and I can't find how to delete this. Also, I have been trying to delete a birthday from the same calendar for months and it keeps reappearing.

Are you also restoring from your backup? That sounds like what is happening or someone else has your Apple ID.
A backup to iCloud would have no way to add UK holidays to your calendar. Open Calendar, tap on Calendars at the bottom middle of the page and untick the ones you don't want.

List problem of birthdays in the calendar application

Hi,
I have an iPhone4 and an iPad. When using the list view in the calendar aplication in the iPad, then all birthday dates are one day too early, but when opening for example the week view then the date is correct. In my iPhone4 the dates of the birthdays in the list view are correct.
I have synched the data in the iPad and the iPhone4 from exactly the same Outlook contacts/calender and I'm using IOS4.2 in both devices.
I have double checked the set date and time zone in the iPad, and they seem to be OK.
Any ideas?

Hi, My birthdays were all a day early no matter what view, I did the following process which completely solved it for me.
Not sure if your problem is solved, if not try this which worked for me:
(1) If your iPad/phone is syncing contacts with iCloud, turn it off. In Settings on your iPad/phone, Mail,Contacts,Calendars, Accounts, iCloud, turn off Contacts.
(2) sync your iPad/phone to iTunes.
(3) now select the ‘Info’ tab in iTunes for your iPad/iPhone. Ensure that ‘Sync Address Book Contacts’ is ticked. (You can revert to syncing with iCloud later, after this process is complete.)
(4) scroll to the very bottom section of the Info tab. Where it says ‘Replace information on this iPad/iPhone’, select ‘Contacts’.
(5) Sync again.
Now check Calendars on iPad/iPhone, this process ‘fixes’ the information of birth dates and they should now appear correctly.

I’ve had another look at this.
I was wrong about the birthday in the contact taking you to the most recent one; not sure what I did but it was finger trouble.
Unfortunately, it has just reiterated the original problem.
For example, there is a contact in my list with a birthdate of 3rd December, 1958.
The Birthday field in Google Contacts shows 3rd December 1958.
The Birthday field in N9 Contacts shows 4th December 1958.
When you open the Contact page to edit the individual fields and tap on the Birthday field, it takes you to December 1958 and highlights .... the 3rd!!
I clicked on the 3rd and then saved the changes to the Contact Birthday field in the N9 and it still showed the 4th.
I have had auto time update ‘ON’ and ‘OFF’ and I have changed the time zone in my phone from GMT+11 in increments to GMT-4 and nothing changes in the Birthday field.
It looks like the error lies in the birthday coding.

When i sync or just drop it into the phone it only shows up to the memory card and it won't be on the player on the 5300. How can I put it into the 5300 player? Thanks in advance.

Drop music files to phone connected as USB-drive;
On the phone: Menu> Media > Music Player and then in player left soft key> Music Library > Update Library;
Instead of it all you may simply restart the phone

Either set a repeating date on the event (repeat every 1 year) or set the birthday field in your contacts on iOS & OS X, then enable the birthday calendar in the settings. I have no idea how to do this on Windows, so you will need to provide more info about what you are using if you are really on Windows.
We'll get this moved somewhere more appropriate if you say what device & OS you are using.

Is there a way to access an old account if you cannot remember the password, when I try to change passwork they have the wrong birthday in the system and I can't get past it

My old computer crashed and I was able to copy my music from my Ipod onto my new computer. When I upgraded to a new Ipod I was not able to access a lot of my music-I needed to authorize the new computer to play songs bought under the old apple ID. For the life of me I cannot remember what the password was, and when I try to reset it, the birthday that there to confirm it is me is the wrong date-so I can't go any further. If I go into an apple store will they be able to help? I have almost 100 songs that I have bought that I can't get to.

first sorry for my bad english. But I'm from Germany and it's not my best foreign language.
Our son Pascal, today is his 14th birthday, wish a new camera for his hobby. We're not rich, so our budget is not open-end. In Germany the camera costs about 160 EUR (round about 220 USD) Our sons were reading tests and reviews, told us to buy this camera. He thougt it'll be too expensive, so today was a verry happy day, when he opened the present.
Now we're testing the camera. Very good. But then Canon crashed this day. We select the video mode. After 3:30 minutes the camera shut down. Thomas, our older son, told us, that for this bug there is a firmewareupdate and in the magazine they told, that this will fix the bug. So I checked the Firmware: It is the latest!
So we'll send the camera back to the dealer. Now our son is very sad about this at his birthday.
How long is this camera sold and why don't you fix this problem? We paid for that, so you have to produce functional products. Why are you cheating your consumer?

How to change the birthday in the Apple-ID for my children?

Dear Community
Some years ago I created an Apple-ID for my childrens. But at that time it was not possible to create an Apple-ID without a Credit-Card and also it was not possible to create an Apple-ID for childrens due to the Birthday setting.
Nowerdays it is possible to create Apple-IDs for children and I want now to change the birthday in their current Apple-IDs to reflect their real birthday.
How can I change this setting in their Apple-ID?

But it worked today!
My older kid was "15" in her AppleID, and part of my family account since last weekend. But today I could change her age back to 10. I had to approve it as an organizer.
My second kid had no year of birth associated with her AppleID (seems not to have been asked for when I created her AppleID (which was in 2007 or 2008)).
Today I added the year 2001 to have her 14 years old. I could not change it to 2007 as it was still a "normal" account. Than I added her account to family sharing. "She" accepted that invitation. Than I logged into her account via the AppleID website, went to the Security section, changed the year of birth to 2007. It asked for sending an e-mail for approval to the family organizer. I approved, and the year of birth was successfully changed to 2007.
It worked as described in the article "Update the birth date associated with your Apple ID" (last modified March 2015)
