Bit Torrent client for N8

Hello,
Does anyone know of such a client for the N8?
Thanks,

Nokia N95 8GB
Nokia N8 (Anna)
Nokia Lumia 930

Actually Symtorrent does work on the N8. I'm currently downloading a video file now.
I installed the S60 3rd V 1.41.
Whilst installing it did throw up a few warnings that it wasn't compatible and wasn't trusted, but I ignored those and it installed fine and is working.
Here is the link for anyone interested

 Cheers.
Ray
 P.S.
Video file download complete and playable on my N8

  • Gnu Arch (CVS replacement) + ABC (Bit Torrent Client)

    begin{edit}
Sorry, I just noticed that GnuArch is apparently in `STAGING' (http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=4529)
and someone else mentioned ABC previously..
what a great way to enter the forum... damn..
    end{edit}
    ===========================
    Thanks for the great distribution.
i'd like to request 2 applications
the first is GnuArch, a superset of subversion.
    http://www.gnuarch.org/
Secondly, ABC (yet Another Bit-torrent Client)
    http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/
it seems to be ok, however its UI is quite slow and the underlying bit torrent client (Bit Tornado) isnt compatible with some of the newer torrent trackers.
If you know of a better bit torrent client -WITH- a gui capable of queueing multiple torrents at a time then by all means add that instead.
But i just dont like having to manually restart individual torrents all the time.
    Thanks again.

Pyqt is in the staging repo: http://xentac.net/~tur/repos.php
Add this repo to your pacman.conf (instructions on the page) and just install with pacman -S.
    Making qtorrent package of PKGBUILD:
    1. Save the code section from the forum in PKGBUILD file in some build directory (doesn't really matter but the best place is /var/abs/local/qtorrent)
    2. Su to became root.
    3. type makepkg (in the dir where you saved the PKGBUILD)
    4. wait a few seconds :-)
    5. if everything goes well (it should) type pacman -A nameofthegeneratedpackagefile.tar.gz
    That's all. Complicated? I don't think so  8)

  • 64-bit Instant Client for Oracle 9i

Based on what I've read here, it looks like there are no Instant Clients for prior to 10.1.
    - Is this correct?
    - Does a 10.1 Instant Client work for accessing 9i databases?
    Thanks

Yes, and yes. Except that the database should be 9.2, as connections to 9.0 are desupported.

  • Total crash when using a torrent client.

    Hi,
I am experiencing a great problem last 2 weeks. I was using Transmission torrent client for 2 months, but suddenly it started to crash during the first 15 minutes after i start it. The crash is huge, because every time the computer requires a restart (you know the black window explaining how to restart in several languages).
First i thought the problem came from the updated version of Transmission, but then i tried with BitTorrent, Azureus, Tomato, xTorrent and many more and the problem was the same... perfectly working for 15 minutes and after this the huge crash.
This crash also causes for the fans of my MAC to work very loudly and fast.
Please help with this, because i don't want to re-install my MACOSX
    P.S. My OSX - 10.4.10 ; My MAC - Dual 2GHz PowerPC G5, 512 RAM
    Thanks in advance,

I am coming to this thread a little late but really "a brody" the guy just wants some help and not a lecture on illegal software use. I also think your rush to condemn bit torrents as only for illegal downloads is completely over blown. Firstly, it was the open source software movement that developed and utilized bit torrents. There are many open source distributions that you can only get through torrents. For example, the new qt4 and amorak project for the mac. This is hardly illegal and I don't think the forum policy would limit discussion of it or any other subject on torrents. You personal views may differ but those would fit better in a different discussion forum.
Siromaha, your problems seem to be severe and may indicate a hardware failure possibly a network card or memory. Are you sure this only happens when the torrent is running? If so try using a different client for a few days. I have found transmission to be a little buggy sometimes. Have you added any other software lately that could be the problem. I see you have a G5 is it staying cool enough?

  • Question about  32 Bit Oracle11g Client

    hi
so many downloads....... i get lost ..........
    from where i can download 32 Bit Oracle11g Client for windows-7 64bit that work with Oracle 11.2.0 64bit using PL/SQL developer ver 7.1 ?
i really dont know what to download.......
    thanks in advance

If PL/SQL developer is a 32 bit application, you will need the 32 bit Oracle client (even if the server is running the 64 bit version of Oracle Database). You can download the 11.2.0.1 client from the following link:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/112010-win32soft-098987.html
The 10.2.0.5 client will also work, but that is more challenging to install.

  • 32 bit Record Locking on 64 bit Novell Client 2 SP1 for Wind

I recently installed several 64 bit Windows 7 Machines running Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows 7.
Our application uses 32 bit record locking in order to maintain compatibilty with a wide array of workstations.
    The problem is as follows:
Machine A is runnning 64 bit Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows 7
Machine B is running 32 bit Windows XP (Client doesn't really seem to matter).
Using Machine A, I open a table, and lock a record.
Using Machine B, I attempt to open the same table.
Machine B received and Error 33 - The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file.
When I change my application to use 64 bit record locking, the problem goes away.

I see that there is a better place for my post:
OES: Client - Windows - NOVELL FORUMS
I have posted there as well.

  • The search is over for 64 bit VPN client is over

Working with NCP Communications and their NCP Secure Entry Client, we were able to create a setup that worked to BM3.9 VPN. At the moment, I am trying to submit this to the cool solutions site. A small problem with attaching pics is keeping this from happeneing. In the mean time, if you are interested in this info, send an email to shesser at arandpartners dot com. I will send the doc of the setup.

I've just replied to a question asking about a VPN Client for 64-bit Windows referencing the NCP Secure Entry Client and in particular this thread. It doesn't look like you ever submitted a Cool Solutions article so wondering if I can help there. Will send you a PM.

    Where to get it ?

Perhaps OpenVPN will work for you. Unfortunately you did not provide any OS information and VPN requirements.
You can find help to install and setup OpenVPN in Google. You might want to check the Fedora EPEL repository http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL to install the software using standard yum in Enterprise Linux.
