you can also use command to check the BitLocker Status, in the elevated command prompt, type
manage-bde -status (driver letter)

OSX treats the reformatted drive as a different one; it's the same as replacing it, and the old one is no longer connected.
See #E3 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting to see and restore from the "old" drive.

also you could try a basic reset and see if that resolves your issue. hold down the Lock button & Home button at the same time for ~15 seconds, the iPad should then perform a reset. -

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

My Bose SIE2i volume control does not work. (pause/play does work). This is the second set - the apple store in Sydney replaced the first set that had the same problem. It was working OK and has stopped.
Thanks again V.K. I did check the layout, and it was listed as alphabet when I inputted the password. So that doesn't seems to the the issue.
Just finished a truly mystifying experiment, but I put in a shorter password in the way mentioned earlier and it worked. I then systematically kept increasing the characters of that password and it seems that if the password starts to exceed about 16, it stops recognizing it. I am fairly sure it is not the password itself since it never gives an error when typing in the verification password. So unless I systematically make the exact mistake twice at the setup screen, and then don't or make a different mistake every time at the login screen, I don't think its my typing skill.
So problem solved for now, but I am still a bit worried. Maybe I should completely reinstall and use a shorter password.
Is there supposed to be a length limit? -
With 10.7.2 update iCal does not allow you to set "Reminders" by draging events from "All Day Events" into "Reminders" is there another way to do this instead of having to type out the entire reminder with date, time, and type?
With Lion 10.7.1. you where able to drag events from "All Day Events" into the "Reminders" bar to create upcoming reminders.Exactly the same question I was about to post!
Great being able to sync reminders (well overdue) however if I have to re-type a calener envent into reminders it's a waste of time!!

Google search does not work. It does not bring back any results and disables my internet connection. I have to close the browser, wait, and then open it again. It only seems to happen when I am signed into my Google account. If I am signed out the search functions properly.

I have just received a brand new iphone 4 in the mail. I have plugged it in using the apple wall charger for around 3 hours now and it does not seem to be doing anything. Tried to plug it into the computer, again no response. Trying to turn it on has not had any success either. Should I be concerned that the screen is blank and not showing a charging symbol?? You must have the credentials that were used to turn on Find my iPhone on the device. Without them, you can not get past the activation lock.

I create a Project and when im working on it every thing is Fine, when finished I close the Project and Save it. But when i am ready to re open it later Only the SMPTE Meter is displays on My Deskktop with The Projects Name in it. Why wont the proect display?
Because you closed the main window before saving. Hit cmd-1 to get it back.
