Bitlocker show problem

i know my bitlocker password but when I insert the password bit locker show bitlocker not responding I have lost my recovery key how I can recover again any pathway to recover this

Where it stop responding?
Is it during booting process or when you logged in the Windows?
If you are able to login to Windows, try boot into safemode and try enter bitlocker password.

Looking for a site that shows problems with windows patches or updates.

Looking for a site that shows problems with windows patches or updates...so I know what not to install.
Plenty of sites list and summarize individual patches, I want one that consolidates problems and complaints so I can better assess the risk. Currently I'm waiting to install patches several days and doing google searches. That works, but I'd rather find a place
that does it with expertise.
Which forums would be best to look for such problems.

Although there might be some problems when installing it, Windows update is not the one to blame.

Try this now.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

If you select one month for mail days to sync, only one month's worth will be synced and available - the last month which will be constantly changing to the most recent 30 days. Select No Limit for Mail Days to Sync.
Show 1000 recent messages is for the selected mailbox only and if there are more than 1000 messages in a mailbox and you have one month for mail days to sync selected, if the last 30 days for the mailbox includes 100 messages, only 100 messages will be available.
Are these additional server stored mailboxes separate mailboxes and what I mean by that is not sub-mailboxes for the Inbox mailbox?
Since you have had this issue with other operating systems, the common denominator is your Hotmail account. Have you contacted Hotmail technical support regarding this issue you have had with other operating systems?
All server stored mailboxes with an Exchange account should be available with the email client used to access the account. If all are not available when accessing the account as an Exchange account with an email client, something is wrong with your setup for these mailboxes at the server level.

PSE 7 Slide Show problems

I have used Photoshop 7 on my computer running vista very successfully but a problem has now arisen. When I use slide show to show some of my selections the pictures are pixelated. This does not apply to all selections. I note that the pixelated pictures are c 400% but the ones that are ok are 40%. If I do not allow the pictures to resize in slide show thet are only small. Any help would be appreciated. This has only happened recently and I cant remember if I have had an adobe downloaded update which might have affected this.

Thanks for coming back to me so quick, I will try & explain the problem in
more detail.
I have all of the photos in My Catalogue tagged ie 2009 Holiday, Mothers
Birthday etc so that by selecting the tag and then display in full screen I
can show them in a slide show to friends & family. This has always worked
well until last week when I called up a slide show of a past holiday the
pictures were very pixelated. All photos are not affected. Some holidays I
select in slide show are ok. If I look at individual pictures in my
catalogue most are ok but many are pixelated. Any pictures that have not
been adjusted in PSE 7 are ok.
Any picture viewed in full screen in slide show has in the top left pop up
menu a % of less than 100%, typically 35 - 75%. Any of the pixelated
pictures have a % 350 - 450%.
I originally had Elements 2 but upgraded to PSE 7 when I changed to Vista
because of album problems, apart from problems converting my catalogue
originally all has worked very well. Apart from the recent update the only
other thing which I have done is to start a back up which I aborted because
it was taking a long time to do. I have 4,600 photos in my catalogue and the
problem slide shows are random throughout but appear to be trouble free up
to about the end of 2004. ie a holiday slide show before then seems to be
ok. The latest photos put into the catalogue this month, post upgrade & post
attempted back up are ok. I have also found that if I expand a photo that
has been modified in PSE 7 although the modified picture is pixelated the
original displays ok. I hope that this more fully explains my problem but if
you require more information please let me know. I really do appreciate you
looking at this for me. It is very frustrating when something that was
working perfectly for me then goes **** up!

ThinkPad Yoga - BitLocker- / TPM-problem

I got a very strange problem which I was unable to solve yet:
My ThinkPad Yoga won't work with BitLocker.
After initiation of the "BitLocker system test", it boots to the blue "BitLocker screen" - still, the PIN which was set before is not accepted. After cancellation of the test, Windows 8 (Windows 8.1 Update 1) states that the test failed, because the TPM could not be written.
While doing some troubleshooting, I recognized that BIOS states the TPM being in "MFG Mode" (= manufacturing mode?); this might be caused by a motherboard change done by the Lenovo service approx. 1 month ago.
My question is:
Does anybody know how to make the TPM leave "MFG mode" or any other solution to this problem?

Weather widget and slide show problems

My site opens on a three column fixed page with header and footer. I have been able to define the area between the nav bar and footer as editable. When I go to incontext and try to make that area editable through incontext it seems fine until I test it. I receive a message that the area is not editable and I can make regions editable through incontext. Only the right most column has a dashed line around it. From that I assume the problem is with the weather widget in column 1 and the slide show in column 2.
All of my other pages are single column and seem to work well with incontext. Any suggestions? Thanks...Morgan

InContext Editing regions cannot contain Flash or JavaScript content, so you should wrap the sections you want to have editable with div tags to separate them from this content. For example:

Idvd slide show problems

Starting in iphoto, I've made a dvd from 160 pictures, along with audio. When I play the dvd there are occasional audio dropouts and one big dropout of a couple of seconds. I finally noticed my dvd player is showing a track change at that point, (1 to 2). When making the dvd, I didn't select more then one track. Does it automatically create more tracks for longer dvd's? It's about 40 minutes long. How can I get rid of this dropout? On one player, it actually froze up and stopped at this point.
Also, after experiencing these problems, I burned a disc image to an external drive, and then burned dvds from the image. It did not help the above problems, but I discovered my computer dvd player would not recognize the discs, even though they would play on my audio/video player. I burned using both Toast and disc utility, no difference. Any suggestions?

Burning the disk at the slowest speed possible will help minimize the pause on some players. Using iMovie will, IMO, give you a lower image quality and removes the slideshow feature, i.e. moving forward or back one slide at a time with the DVD remote. With the movie method you have to "rewind" or "fast forward", not as convenient if that is a feature that you might want to keep. If not then iMovie will avoid that 99 pause.
I'm putting together a 250 slideshow for a neighbor and am using iMovie HD since I need to put snippets of songs at various places in the audio track. That's the one advantage with iMovie HD. Also you can add lots of chapter markers in iMovie HD if you want the option to jump ahead.

Imported Slide Show Problems

I imported a slide from Photoshop Elements 7.0 into Premiere Elements 7.0. I did get an error that .jpg files could not be imported into Premiere. Some .jpgs showed and some did not. Any suggestion?
Also, text titles I added in Photoshop are very blurry in Premiere. Can someone help me understand why and how to correct?

I did a batch processing of over 2000 jpgs in 7 slide shows to 1000x750 and this seemed to work better.
I am still having text problems. The titles applied to each jpg in the slide shows are clear in Photoshop Elements 7 but are blurry but readable when imported into Premiere Elements 7.
Further, I have blank slides that are black background with white text in each slide show. These are clear in Photoshop but blurry but readable when imported into Premiere Elements 7.
I took a suggestion and imported a slide show into PE7 and then exported it to a DV AVI file. When I brought it back up and viewed it, the text titles on the jpgs and the white text on the black slides were still blurry but readable. I viewed the AVI in two separate programs, the pictures look OK but the text is not crisp and clear.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Exporting Slide Show Problems

I am having trouble exporting my slide show with either the regular export or share to iDVD. I have updated iPhoto to the latest version, tried rebooting, shutting down. It gets all the way across to the very end and then says there was an error. Any ideas or suggestions?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. That error code is a file is busy error. What size is the file that you end up with? Does it have a .mov extension on it? If not, try adding the .mov extension and see if you can open it.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

Nivo Picture Slide-Show Problems

Hi, I have been trying to correctly implement this Nivo Picture Slider into my website for awhile now, so far I have not been able to get it working the way I want it to.
I uploaded the website I am currently working on to a temporary link so I am able to show anyone willing to help where I am with the page and slider business. The coding for the nivo slider may be sloppier than intended because I tried adding things little by little to see if I could get it to work.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong and let me know how I can get this Nivo picture slide show up and running? I'm looking to make it so that the image in the banner area underneath the logo switches to another picture every few seconds.

I would start by ensuring the links to your javascript files are coded correctly. You have a LOT of scripts all linked as CSS. You can also combine these into far fewer files.

Only 1 site shows problem.....

Adobe flash (11.8.800) works for me everywhere but one site - it worked (not sure if flash updated since it worked) until recently, but I don't know what changed. Only this one site exhibits the problem - no video in the window. I've tried the troubleshoting tips from the help site (http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html) - clearing all the caches, deleting the flashplayer folder from %appdata%\Adobe, etc. On the site that fails, right clicking on the windows doesn't bring up the settings window, but the global setting window does open if I select it. I can open the setting menu if I go to any site except the one that's giving me problems. I have disabled hardware acceleration. The behavior is the same across other browsers on the same machine, and on other machines as well - I even tried an old XP machine I had laying around and it behaves the same way! I need to try this from a location other than my home.
Any suggestions?

The coding was wrong. I had one that was working. so I just
copied the code and changed the value for the individual videos.
