Bizarre RDP Issue with opening remote program with Visual ERP

So I have two VM's one running SQL server with an ERP program called Visual that has several components and an RDP server that end users log into. We are running windows 2012R2 on both. Everyday around 5:30 the VMFG program for visual stops working until I reboot the RDP server, people already in are fine but anyone trying to open it get the below error. It basically says it can't open the file on the SQL server anymore, yet if I can open the UNC path from the RDP and click on the executable(still crashes with same error), it runs fine locally on the SQL server and other parts of Visual Kios/Time and attendance work fine. I tried removing the anti-virus, checking backups, checking for scheduled tasks, checking event viewer logs, performance monitor, etc and can't seem to figure out this oddity. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated....

Hi,
As this happens with him specific from MRD MAC check whether he is taking RDP with IP address or hostname. Also try to uncheck the Option "Bypass RD Gateway for local address" under RDSH configuration and verify the result.
Also for more detail he can collect log from MAC side by following path.

I forgot to add and set the condition of the type for this program.
If the program is an application, it would close straight away.
If it is still labview work, it will go straight to editing program without closing.

Put the VI in a project and open it from there, then it shouldn't autorun. You can use App.kind property of application to decide whether to close or not.

Help! Can't open Labview program with MATLAB codes !!!

They used to work! But today I just can't open any LabView program with MATLAB codes in. This also happened some time ago, but after a day I tried again, it went back to normal. Can anyone help me fix it? Many thanks !!!

Thank you for your inquiry regarding problems opening a VI. It sounds like a VI containing MATLAB code will not open in LabVIEW. This problem can happen when using LabVIEW 7 on a Windows 2000 machine. Assuming this is your setup, the following link is a great resource when dealing with this issue.

Windows 8.1, trouble with opening ANY program

Basically when I click on something (internet explorer, a game, steam, Norton anti virus, ANYTHING!) the computer trys to open it using winzip, says theres an error that it wasn't found In that location and doesn't open the program.
In order to open anything I have to click on "open file location" and open it from there, thing is a lot of my games and programs don't have this option and I cant find them on the computer everytime I want to use them
I tried creating a shortcut, but it does the same thing, it seems anytime I try and open something from the desktop it opens winzip (as though its extracting files and then fails)
I tried uninstalling winzip, but this just makes it so when I click on something instead of winzip appearing it shows a loading icon and then does nothing at all, so ive reinstalled it for now
Anyone know what I can do?

Did you mean that all of the ShortCut in your system was set open with Winzip by default, isn't it?
If that it is, in my opinion, this should be a unproperly setting caused this problem, it would be better to contact winzip support for further assistance with this problem.

Issue while opening SSRS Report with Oracle as Datasource in Report Manager

I deployed SSRS report in Report Manager but I am unable to generate that report. Am getting following error.
Is it problem with datasource in report manager? I am not able to change the Data source type to Oracle. It is showing Microsoft SQL Server. How can I change it, no other options are coming except Microsoft SQL Server. Please help.

When I deploy them in localhost, and try to run report in report manager, it is not showing any data source type in drop down list except MS SQL Server. I do not know why it is showing in BIDS and not in report manager!!!

Based on my test, I can specify the data source type as Oracle after deploy the report to Report Manager and open the report Data source propertity page. If the report use the shared data source, you should check the specify data source at the Data Source

Using Automator to open a program with a delay after a programmed restart

Hi to all! With my old PowerPc I used to start unattended sessions of my Newsreader (Unison) overnight simply putting Unison in my Login elements window, and programming a restart at a fixed hour. Unfortunately, with my very fast new iMac this doesn't work: Unison opens too fast after the programmed restart, before a network connection has been established, and Unison is unable to see the NewsServer online when it starts (error "nodelist not found", typical of a not yet established Internet connection). Note that I downgrade to Unison 1.8.x to do this, as the Unison 2.x program cannot be closed with a session running to resume it after start: it simply defaults to "Pause transfers" after quitting, and need a clic on "Resume" after reopening.
Obviously, what I need is to introduce a "wait (say) 2 minutes before the opening of Unison", or anything that can check the Internet connection before Unison starts. May anyone instruct me to do this with Automator and/or AppleScript?
In fact, I tried to generate a workflow in Automator, with a Pause after the start of the process, then the instruction to open Unison. I put the saved workflow in my Login elements, but it didn't work on my iMac 27, i7Core, Snow Leopard installed. I added an "execute workflow" at beginning of the process, but the Pause command gives always an error and the process stops before Unison' opening.
Any suggestion or help in writing an Automator or AppleScript workflow/script to be put among the startup items?

I am trying to use Automator to restart an application. I figured how to quit the application, however when I relaunch it, it asks for password permission... how can I use automator to enter the password? or is there a way to launch the software with password in a script?

Icannot open any programs with fir fox -help

I cannot open anything with firefox. I tried to uninstall it so I could download again,, but I couldn't uninstall as it said I had to close flirefox before proceeding. As I did not have it open and I kept getting the same message I was unable to proceed. Can you help.

To clarify: the desktop icons have the Mozilla firefox icon and all the .exe files in windows explore also have the Mozilla firefox icon.

Yes, any current iPod classic will use the volume control and track skipping features. The voice memo feature should also work with the integrated microphone in the remote.

User Account Issues - cannot open certian programs!!!

I have a MacBook Pro 3.1 operating 10.5.8
it is set up on an active directory and the network admins are set to administrate the machine.
However, the user has administrative rights but cannot open itunes or iphoto because of the error
"The folder "+program name+" is on a locked disk or you do not have write permissions for this folder"
how do i get rid of this and allow the user to have full control of the machine?

That sounds like another user has the same iPhoto or iTunes library open in his own account. iTunes and iPhoto libraries can only be accessed from one user account at a time, unless one is using the built-in sharing features (iTunes or iPhoto preferences -> sharing).

Hello! I'm in desperate need of assistance with opening a PDF with Adobe Reader.

I am trying to download course work and the online forum that the course work is on addresses the common issue of PDF's not converting and not being able to view the complete detailed page. I have the free Adobe reader XI and I also just purchased the Adobe package for $90 a year thinking this will solve my problems but they have not. WHAT TO SHOULD I DO? I have missed 2 days of course work because I am unable to see the assignments.

Sorry, I do not understand "PDFs not converting"; what are you trying to convert them to? Using what software?
Also, what is your operating system? If these PDFs are online, what browser do you use?

Can someone please help me by giving me the lingo that will
enable me print from my created program.
I have tried the printing codes in director but not working
as I supposed.

and be able to select any object or pages from my program.

Issue in Registered Server Program RFC in ERP

Hello Experts,
I need suggestion on one problem we are facing.
From ERP we have 3 application which uses Synchronous message call to PI system from where the call is sent to a mainframe system and returned.
All these 3 applications uses a registered server program XXX_TCP_YY RFC call to connect to PI system.
In this RFC XXX_TCP_YY the gateway host is mentioned as ERP system and there is a communication channel in PI where this RFC details are maintained.
After upgrading our ERP 6.0 to EHP 5 we are continuously getting issues with message flow to PI or call to PI is failing and this RFC is taking long time or sometime timing out.
In such cases since it production i go a restart the channel in PI and this RFC start working fine.
But i am not sure how to resolve this issue.
Can you please provide some pointer in which direction i should investigate this problem.

Can you check the PI Communication polling interval and whether this restart needed on all the apps or just CI?
In addition to polling interval please check the SeeBurger services from /nwa and see if the needed on are active.
Before restarting the channel, clear the cache using full mode too.

How do I download a received e-mail into a program "directory file" and open it later by a related program with a different name.

Each week day afternoon I receive an e-mail bulletin and previously, using AOL, I downloaded it into a directory file located as a part of computer programs and then read it later with a related program with a slightly different name. Now when I try to do this using Mozella Firefox I don't see a way to download the e-mail bulletin into the directory program file and open it with another program related to the directory program. Firefox only shown the file name to read the download with but doesn't give me an option to download it to the program directory file. Please give me some detailed instructions.

If safari recognizes it as a PDF then when you open it, you should see something in the right corner below the search box that says open in "" and another with "open in another app". If not try tapping the middle of the screen once tomake it appear. You may need to download iBooks, which is free from the AppStore ,to have an app to download it to.

Hi, I experience a strange problem with purple-remote (program which allow to control Pidgin via D-Bus) :
To get the current status message, you have to type
$ purple-remote getstatusmessage
This works, but when I type
$ echo $(purple-remote getstatusmessage)
this fails with the error
