BizTalk adapter
Hi all,
I try to use WLI as B2B integrator in pilot project, but not found information
about WLI and MS BizTalk server integration. There are main problems:
How connect MS BizTalk server and BEA WLI (integrator) ?
Does WLI include BizTalk adapter ?
I You know, please help my.
Thanks
alex
I've not tried this yet but I though the adapter pack was very specific about the version of oracle client/odp.net you had installed for it work. I can give this a go I guess as I've nothing to lose but just wanted to get thoughts from community
first.
Today I’ve been doing some reading online and the content I've read suggests that the latest version of the oracle database 11.2 is supported in v2.0 of the adapter pack. However if anyone can tell me different I'd be very glad.
According to this forum it only supports 11.1 and not 11.2
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/biztalkr2adapters/thread/4dda77bf-6e77-461f-9615-16882d439f88
According to the official Installation Guide which I found online it is not supported.

Tracing in a Custom Biztalk Adapter
Hi,
we have developed a custom adapter in BizTalk for BTS 2013 using the BizTalk Adapter Framework(BAF) approach.
I want to understand how we can implement some tracing in the Adapter code.
Essentially, once deployed to production, if the adapter fails for some reason, I would like to enable a switch to trigger tracing.
Has anyone done anything on this lines?
please assist.
regards,
MSYou can consider implement BizTalk CAT Instrumentation Framework Controller tracing code in your custom adapter.
Microsoft product team uses this in BizTalk extensively. CAT has been used virtually by all major infrastructure components inside the BizTalk runtime, including
EPM, transport adapters, Message Agent, etc.
Once it’s been implement in your code, it provides the full operational flexibility enables switching the tracing on and off as well as changing the trace level
dynamically, making it easy to perform detailed tracing in production environments without requiring reboots or application restarts.
Performance wise, there is no other tracing component can beat this as of now.

None specifically says it supports ECC 6.0 EHP5. But, I was able to find several posts that they are integrating with SAP ECC 6 EHP5 using BizTalk adapter. However, I would like to make sure whether Microsoft officially supports or not in case of technical
issue occurs.
Does anyone have an answer?I appreciate your response but I'm afraid that the information you have given is what I looked up before and thought they can't be an answer. As I already have stated in my question, I found several posts saying that they are integrating with ECC 6.0 EHP5
with BizTalk Adapter. With that, I can assume the BizTalk Adapter would work with EHP5 of ECC 6.0 as EHP is just an EnHancement Package. However, it does not mean Microsoft will support it when there is a technical issue unless it is stated so. So, what I
want to confirm here is more about liability. I cannot suggest my client to use BizTalk based on assumption.
To save anyone else's time, following are SAP versions supported by each BizTalk Adapter pack. None specifically mentions EHP 5. Can anyone from Microsoft or partner confirm this??

Component Service microsoft.biztalk.adapter.sql for BizTalk Server 2009
Hello All,
We have a production server which has 2 hosts used for receiving data. When I use these hosts for SQL adapter I am getting an error that "the receive location is shutting down. Details: The error threshold has been exceeded. The receive location is
shutting down"
I did some analysis and can see that the component service "microsoft.biztalk.adapter.sql " is missing on my receive server. Can this be the reason for this?Hi,
Please check DTC connectivity between the two servers using DTCPing and DTCTester. That at the very least should make things easier to diagnose.

Hi guys,
i need to interface a IBM MQ system, have BizTalk 2013 a out of the box adapter for it ?
A last question: which are a difference between a Standard and Enterprise Edition ?
Thanks in advanceHi,
Yes, MQSC Adapter. Refer: BizTalk
Server: MQSeries and MQSeries Client (MQSC) adapters
Installation of the MQSC adapter in BizTalk
Answer to your other question, BTS Standard only run on a single BizTalk server with a maximum of two CPUs, maximum of five "BizTalk Applications", How ever, Enterprise does not
have such limitations.
BizTalk 2013 Standard and Enterprise just have same
new features with the same limitations for standard edition.

Error Installing Biztalk Adapter for Enterprise (BT2013)
Hi everybody,
I'm attempting to install the adapter for enterprise application, the machine is a win7-64 (phisical) and previously in this laptop had BT 2010. I guess that is something related to the previous version of BizTalk.
The message is:
"An error occured while applying security settings. Users is not a valid user o group. This could ba a problem with tha package, or a problem connecting to a domain controller on the network"
This machine is a sandbox and the user that is running the setup is part of the administrator's group of the machine and is part of the company domain (AD), and the machine is connected to the net.
In advance, I Apreciate your help.
Thanks in advance,
Luis CardozoHi Luis,
Have you verified that the user is member of Biztalk groups ?I think you need to add the user to biztalk group such as Biztalk Administrator ,SSO Administrator etc prior to running the setup .
Another way around is to create groups manually .
perform the following steps and run the installation again:
Create a new user called CREATOR OWNER (Type this command on the command prompt – net user "CREATOR OWNER" /add)
Create a new group called Users (Type this command on the command prompt – net localgroup Users /add)
You can find detailed document at

Hi Yaeli1,
From the error message above, please check the permission for file writing , it seems that this issue is related to access permission.

BizTalk Server 2013 SFTP Adapter with private key - Did not poll any files
Hello,
We have a requirement to connect SFTP secure site with the private key and polling files. Initially I have
tested BizTalk Server 2013 SFTP Adapter receiver Port using Bitvise SSH SFTP Server tool and it was working perfectly in our local network environment( with public private key authentication).
However when we connected to Client SFTP server with private key authentication, It successfully connected to SFTP Server but
did not poll any files from SFTP Site. I added only one file to SFTP Server ( 145 kb file) for testing purpose.
However BizTalk Server 2013 SFTP Send Adapter is working well with the same configuration.
I could not find any errors in Event viewer also. I can download\upload file using WinSCP tool .
So I downloaded nSoftware SFTP Adapter trial version and deployed on server. nSoftware SFTP adapter is also working find
without any issues for Client SFTP Site.
This is the configuration on SFTP Receive Adapter
This is how SFTP Server download folder permission configured. I have got this details using WinSCP tool.
<o:p></o:p>
Appreciate your help on this.<o:p></o:p>
Thanks<o:p></o:p>
PrabathD<o:p></o:p>BizTalk Adapter for SFTP is where the polling logic is implemented. It is not part of the SFTP Client logic. any SFTP Client is for User Interaction and you do what you want/when you want.
The BizTalk Receive however is for purposes of automation and the adapter polls the receive location using the credentials every polling interval to check for the files matching the filter. When it find a file, it will read and publish to message box or
submit to pipeline for processing. Your setting the polling interval to 0 (ZERO) might actually be disabling the polling.
Set your poll interval to a non-zero value and check the behavior.

Problem about Biztalk SAP adapter running on 64-bit host instance.
Hi there
Both 32-bit and 64-bit host instances are running. We use WCF-Custom adapter to communicate with SAP. And for WCF-Custom adapter, we assigned a 64-bit host.
We copied all the library files in rfcsdk32bit to folder Windows\System32, and those in rfcsdk64bit to folder Windows\SysWOW64.
All is going just fine until we can not enable the receive location retrieving data from SAP with WCF-Custom adapter and BindingType sapBinding. Error information as below:
Reason: System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Adapters.SAP.SAPGInvoker.dll' or one of its dependencies. is not a valid Win32 application. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800700C1)

This problem disappears right after we switch the host for WCF-Custom adapter back to a 32-bit host, which is for sure.
Some gudiance instructed: Both 32-bit rfcsdk library files and 64-bit rfcsdk library files need to be copied into both two directories above. But most of the filenames are overlapped obviously. How come they can exists under a same directory?
Or do I just get the wrong 64-bit rfcsdk? Does anyone happen to have by hand? I already serach through SAP download site. My rfcsdk files list is below:
