    Thanks from me too Neal - this worked from me. I wan't able to consume directly from exchange because the certificate is broken. However, I was able to convince Google Chrome to let me view the /Services.wsdl and from there I could save the .wsdl and two
    .xsd files. In my case the problem lay at the top of the .wsdl file. I changed the following:
    <wsdl:types>
            <xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
                <xs:import namespace="http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/services/2006/messages" schemaLocation="messages.xsd"/>
            </xs:schema>
    by giving the same targetNamespace as assigned in the <wsdl:definitions element, so I ended up with
    <wsdl:types>
            <xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" targetNamespace="http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/services/2006/messages">

  • DESADV01 E1EDP07 segment per line item causes EDIFACT error

    When a Sales Order has the PO Number + Date populated, the subsequent outbound Delivery IDoc (DESADV01) contains a parent E1EDP07 segment for every child line item segment (E1EDP09).  For a SO without PO Date, the IDoc is created with a single E1EDP07 with multiple child E1EDP09 segments.  This is standard SAP - do you need to code around this?
    The first scenario causes an error in EDIFACT mapping, as a limit of 9 RFF segments is allowed (E1EDP07 is a level 1 segment).  Partner systems reject this.

    Hi,
    Segment field should be optional, so check the posting keys in OB41, check the GL account which hit this posting and check the FIeld status in OBC4 and make the segment field as optional.
    while posting the transactions you can check in more then Profit center and segment details will be updated in the postings.
    try out, this might help. check the new ledger document types also.

    I created a receive pipeline and used the EDI disassembler and I checked this property to TRUE, (USEISA11ASREPETIONSEPARATOR) and that fixes this particular issue but then Biztalk displayed 3 errors in the application log.

  • Biztalk Xlang error

    Hi, I received below XLANG/s error! Any hint?
    I'm using BT 2010 and VS 2010. I have a Biztalk project and a class library project that is referenced to Biztalk project in Visual Studio 2010.
    I have the dll in the bin folder and I have referenced this dll in my resources to Biztalk Admin Console.
    Both apps have same file version.
    Any idea why this is happening?
    Christiane

    Your .Net code needs to be in the GAC (Global Assembly Cache) so the fully qualified typename can be resolved by BizTalk's underlying .Net runtime. Ensure that the required assembly has been properly deployed.
    You can keep the assembly in GAC using the GACUtil command.

    It means this website is having physical location at C:\Program files x86 folder.
    Now go to program files 86 folder and copy complete folder(..Integration..) and take it to the other environment.
    Later in other env place it at some location and follow the below steps.
    How to create a virtual directory
    Log on to the Web server computer using an account that has administrative privileges.
    Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Internet Services Manager.
    In the Internet Information Services window, expand * <var style="box-sizing:border-box;margin:0px;padding:0px;">server name</var> (where <var
    style="box-sizing:border-box;margin:0px;padding:0px;">server name</var> is the name of the server).
    Right-click the Web site that you want (for example, Default Web Site), point to New, and then click Virtual Directory.
    On the Welcome to the Virtual Directory Creation Wizard page, click Next.
    On the Virtual Directory Alias page, type the alias that you want (for example, Sales), and then click Next.
    On the Web Site Content Directory page, type the UNC path to the remote folder that you have created (for example,\\<var
    style="box-sizing:border-box;margin:0px;padding:0px;">Server</var>\<var style="box-sizing:border-box;margin:0px;padding:0px;">Share</var>), and then click Next.
    On the User Name and Password page, type the user name and password that has sufficient privileges to gain access to the remote folder.
    Note To maintain the highest levels of security, use an account that has the minimum permissions that are necessary to provide access to the remote content.
    Click Next, re-type the password that you used in step eight in the Confirm Password dialog box, and then click OK.
    On the Access Permissions page, click to select the check boxes of the permissions that you want to set for the virtual directory.
    By default, Read permissions and Run scripts permissions are already selected. For example, if you want to allow users to change the content in the virtual directory, click to select the Write check box.
    Click Next, and then click Finish.
    Note The virtual directory inherits the configuration and security settings of the Web site in which it is created.

  • Biztalk edifact Issues

    FTX04:01 in datatype is AN(simple Type).
    Currently am validating the input message instace with schema.
    When I am doing it am allowing ALLOW TRAILING set to True and rest of all is correct.
    but here my doubt is when the value is  'test value #' (This is due to # symbol)
    # : [21] Invalid character found
    when the value is 'test value  ' (This is due to the space at the end)
    [37] Invalid character(s) found in data element
    Actually datatype AN should allow these values right according to below link.

    Could any one help me in this?

    AN allows what your encoding allows. If you have a # in a string, just need at least UNOC as encoding:

  • BizTalk Server 2013 R2 EDI EDIFACT custom Target Namespace is not being used

    I have a client that has a partner that doesn't use the "out of the box" BizTalk EDIFACT 97A DELFOR schema. I'm using BizTalk Server 2013 R2.  I need to use a custom target namespace.  I have created a custom schema for EFACT_D97A_DELFOR with
    a different namespace http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/EDI/EDIFACT/2006_<partnername>.
    In the Parties agreement/Transaction Set Settings/Local Host Settings, I have the following in a separate row under the "Default", UNH2.1=DELFOR, UNH2.2=D, UNH2.3=97A and TargetNamespace=http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/EDI/EDIFACT/2006_<partnername>
    It wants to use the out of the box schema from the error below but I need it to use the custom schema. If I change the input file with a UH2.5 value along with changing the root node to match it EFACT_D97A_DELFOR_<UNH2.5), it works but the partner
    will not be sending this, so it's not an option.
    Error details: An output message of the component "Unknown " in receive pipeline "Microsoft.BizTalk.Edi.DefaultPipelines.EdiReceive, Microsoft.BizTalk.Edi.EdiPipelines, Version=3.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35"

    71: Transaction Set or Group Control Number Mismatch
    Error: 3 (Miscellaneous error)
    29: Invalid count specified at interchange, group or message level
    Any thoughts for this issue?
    Thanks,
    Sean

    All,
    Because the trading partner is not sending the UNH2.5, UNG2.1 and UNG2.2 values in the incoming message, the EDIFACT custom targetnamespace schema will not be used.  I created a decode custom pipeline component where I inject the UNH2.5 element,changed
    the rootnode to the trading partner specific schema to  EFACT_D97A_DELFOR_XYZ (where "XYZ" is the value in the UNH2.5) and in the Party agreement->TransactionSetSettings->LocalHostSettings default row specifying the UNH2.1, UNH2.2
    and UNH2.5, it will then use the custom schema(http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/EDI/EDIFACT/2006#EFACT_D97A_DELFOR_XYZ.  I could've injected the UNG segment
    and used a custom target namespace and not changed the rootnode of the custom schema but didn't want to add all that extra segment information.
    The example below assumes that the UNH segment only has values "up to" UNH2.4 only and appends the UNH2.5.  Uses the UNA segement to dynamically set the componentDataElementSeparator.
    //UNA segment e.g. UNA:+.? '
    //this example above has ' as the segmentTerminator, : as the componentDataElementSeparator, + as the dataElementSeparator
    string unaSegment = messageBody.Substring(0, messageBody.ToUpper().IndexOf("UNA") + 9);
    string componentDataElementSeparator = unaSegment.Substring(3, 1);
    string dataElementSeparator = unaSegment.Substring(4, 1);
    string segmentTerminator = unaSegment.Substring(8, 1);
    string UNH_Segment = messageBody.Substring(messageBody.ToUpper().IndexOf("UNH"));
    UNH_Segment = UNH_Segment.Substring(0, UNH_Segment.IndexOf(segmentTerminator));
    //inject UNH2_5 in the existing UNH_Segment
    messageBody = messageBody.Replace(UNH_Segment,
    UNH_Segment + componentDataElementSeparator + UNH2_5);
    Thanks All for all your help!!

  • Export the Biztalk error to a file from the Biztalk project.

    Hi,
    I have created console app in VS 2012 to export the biztalk errors from Event Viewer to a text file.
    Here i have used eventlog class to fetch the application log errors on click of .Exe file it will generate the the text file.
    So I need to integrate this .exe or .net code to Biztalk project. How can i integrate this one. Any idea on this - how can i achieve this.
    Biztalk handles error but i need to export that biztalk error which occured in the application in to seperate text file in a location. Because  each time user needs to go to Adminstrative console then to EventViewer->Windows log->Application - >
    to view the Biztalk error. In this case i need to export the errors to a text file from the project instead of going to view error in Admin Console. i need some code samples on how to make it.
    But in .net we can achieve it using EventLog class to export the event viewer appplication log to a text file.As i said in first Earlier.Whether it can be integrate in to biztalk project through Custom Pipeline or any other way.

    Hi Vijayan,
    What is the objective of your requirement? Is this just to save user from going through Administrative console
    à EventViewer->Windows log->Application - > Filter event for BizTalk error?
    In this case you can create a custom event log for BizTalk and hold the events related to BizTalk in one node/category. So you’re users can directly to eventlog for
    Biztalk error. (FYI event log can be access without going through BizTalk admin console). So users can view information/warning/error specific to BizTalk in one view
    EventVieweràCustom
    viewàBizTalk.
    No automated steps required, just a simple one off configuration would do the trick. Read the following article on step-by-step guidance on achieving the same.
    Creating a custom event log under Event
    Viewer to log server events
    Or is requirement is due to some access issues you want to accumulate/consolidate all the BizTalk errors into one place so user can see BizTalk evenlog info in one place like
    a text file in a shared location, then the following article can help you to achieve the same.
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/heyscriptingguy/archive/2007/09/06/how-can-i-backup-an-event-log-to-a-text-file.aspx
    But what do you mean by integrate above process in to BizTalk. When you mean by “Biztalk handles error but i need to export that biztalk error which occured in the application
    in to seperate text file in a location”, are you looking to log the BizTalk “application” error/events i.e logging from your applications in BizTalk to a log file ? Then you can consider about using standard logging library like Enterprise
    Library Logging block, or NLog, or log4net. log4net can fit
    well comparing other logging framework.
    Following references can help you on this context:
    Write log file for Biztalk Logging
    with log4net – Sample
    Biztalk and Logging with log4net
    But keep in mind that this is application logging, i.e. logging from your BizTalk applications like logging while processing the message in pipeline/orchestration. But this will
    not log when one of the send port/receive location is stopped. These information are logged into eventlog.
    If you’re looking for application level logging then also know about
    BizTalk CAT Instrumentation Framework Controller.
    Or if you want to your existing console application which exports the eventlog to text file to be automated, then use the Windows schedule task to run your console application
    periodically and let it export the errors to text file. You can console the export process in such a way that it can export the eventlog entries for the last one hour if you can configure the Windows schedule task to run every one hour to export the logs to
    text file.
    I have given various options, hope you can choose the one which suits your need best.
    If this answers your question please mark it accordingly. If this post is helpful, please vote as helpful by clicking the upward arrow mark next to my reply.

  • Send Error Type or Description of failed messgaes in body of mail using SMTP adapter

    Hi,
    I want to send failed messages error type or description to admin to notify him for error occurs in BizTalk, with Error description in body part.
    I have set Send port option for "Enable routing of failed messages" and created a send port having SMTP adapter. Now in body I want to send error description.
    Pls advise how can I achieve this.
    -- Kind Regards Sandeep

    When failed message routing is enabled, BizTalk Server does not suspend the message—it routes the message instead.
    When a failed message is generated, BizTalk Server promotes error-report-related message context properties and demotes regular message context properties before publishing the failed message. Compare this to the default behavior when
    failed message routing is not enabled: Messages that fail are suspended. --------
    MSDN
    So if i were in this situation i would prefer to route the failed message to SMTP as well as to some kind of transport from which i can again receive the message ( like MSMQ or File).
    I mean create a send port group and bind 2 send port to this group (SMTP and MSMQ) and bind this group to that orchestration (specified in previous post) which subscribe the Failed Messages. Then bind the MSMQ location to your receive
    location to retry.
    I am not sure wheather it is the optimal solution or not ..... but it will work. Kindly let me know if you are not clear with what i said.
    Regards
