BizTalk Zombie Message not coming as error in SQL Job "Monitor BizTalk Server"

Hello All,
I have Zombie message in Message box
But when I run job "Monitor BizTalk Server" no error reported.
My understanding this should be reported as error in second step. Same has been in details in URL

Can anyone help why above behavior is different ?

Well....here's the deal. It seems the group knowledge on the Monitor BizTalk Job is pretty limited. Here's a better blog with some more information:

I don't think a Zombie would immediatly qualify for any of those cases because for some period of time, it still belongs to a service instance, just one that can no longer Consume it. Eventually it may qualify for condition 4 once the Completed Orchestration
is purged.
Disclaimer: This is educated speculation. If anyone has done any testing around this, I and others would appriciate some guidence.

Message Not coming to XI system

Am Facing an issue in Production XI system. The issue is in File to RFC Interface,which is running on Daily basis,there is a daily job to Place the File on FTP server. The Problem is File is Picking by XI and File also archived in Archive directory,but Message not coming to XI system.I have checked in MONI and Sender communication channel,but not able to see any messages.The File Format is CSV,used FCC in sender channel.

Hi Madhu
Please check the communication channel in RWB and see the channel is in error or not.
The channel should show some logs including message id.
Next check the RWB-->message monitoring-->adapter engine
The message could have failed there and hence does not present in MONI.
Finally make sure that none of other communication channels are polling in that same server.
In non-prod environment we some times use the same server credential for DEV and QA.
So if that is the case , then please deactivate the other channel so that you get the message in desired environment.

HTTP to RFC scenario (Message not coming to PI)

Hi PI Gurus,
I got one HTTP to RFC scenario. Its working fine in production. where as it is not working in QA sys.
Messages are not coming to PI (SXMB_MONI). Is anything is missed in SICF or SMICM.

How you are testing the interface.........if you are sending the message from HTTP client web page then check the error message in same web page.

Warning Message not coming

In Function Exit i am displaying Message based on some condition. Error messages are coming fine when the condition is true but when i am trying to display warning messages for the same it is not coming .Could any one please tell me what would be the problem.

Hi Kumar,
When you throw error message processing stops that is why you are able to see it... Do you see some other message when use warning right..? If yes than change it to information and check...

Output message not coming automatically for PO

hi
i cerated new output message sending PO to vendor by e-mail. I maintained condition records in MN04. Condition table, access sequence all are maintained. I included new output type into the control data of the existing schema RMBEF1 and the schema is assigned to PO also. Also maintain entry in following string SPRO- Material Management-Purchasing-Messages-Output control-Message Types-Define Message type for PO---Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order
Still the output message is not coming automatically while creating PO every time i add output type namually. please guide

Hope you have maintained condition for combination. preferrably -
1) Purch Doc type > PORG > Vendor
2) Please make sure that, you have maintained the fileds which are relavant for output.(if you are making any changes in existing PO and you need output)

If you use '&' then your message will be truncate in Status bar message. Best option would be use 'and' instead of '&' the your problem will be resolved.

Message not coming to Receiver system - File to RFC

I have a small problem in File to RFC connection. We are trying to create a PO using a BAPI. In the XI system , it shows the XML is processed successfully but PO is not generated in the R/3 system.
Is there any way to check whether the message has come to the receiver system. In fact we tried with a dummy insert command in a Z table . Even thats not happening. I thing the message is not at all coming to the receiver system, but the SXMB_MONI in Xi shows the message got processed successfully.
Do we need to make any settings in the Receiver system?

a) in the rfc adapter (in your communication channel) if you have sp14
b) in the bapi wrapper if you have < sp14 ?

Approval messages not coming back when approving by mail

Hello,
We are on SRM 4.0
Approval messages are sent from SRM to different approvers by mail. This works fine.
But when the person approves by mail this doesn't work.
In transaction sost messages are still with 'grey' status and in transaction scot messages are all in status 'in transit'.
This happens only in our Production environment.
Has anyone suggestions?

people have being trying to message me and saying I haven't been texting back.. but they haven't been recieving my texts and I haven't been recieving theirs.. how do I fix this?!

Message not coming up on Tour

I have a user with a Tour 9630 who all of a sudden stopped recieving messages on his Tour - we're a BES 5.0 enviorment, he can send e-mails out just fine. Has an active internet connection, can recieve texts just fine, can open web browsers.
What could be the issue and how do I resolve it? It was working fine until one day when it just stopped.

I'm getting an " Incorrect Encryption Key " on the firewall and there's like 520 blocks... Does this maybe have something to do with it?

Mail not coming in even though it's on the server

A friend is having trouble receiving her emails. She's running 10.4.11 on an eMac.
The last email she received was 5 days ago. She can send emails no problem. When we look at the server via Account Info we can see all her emails but they're not transferring to her inbox. Strange!?
Action taken so far:
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist.backup

Query Results not coming for SELECT * in sql developer 3.1.07

VERY FRUSTRATING to use sql developer.
In SQL DEVELOPER 3.1.07:
WHAT WORKS: select sequence# from v$archived_log
WHAT DOESN'T WORK : select * from v$archived_log
You've got to be kidding me.
I wish I can show a screenshot, but can't in this forum. Here's my description:
When I run the query, in the bottom frame for Query Results, it just says: Executing: select * from v$archived_log in 0 seconds.
Then there's no result grid.

Is this a 'manual' standby db? Are you using Data Guard?
Post the results for what Gary ask of running the queries in sql*plus. If those queries give the same result then this is NOT a sql developer issue.
Review the following thread and post back with what information in it applies to your use case.

Change the version of the Trend software from 3.0 to the older 2.62 version.

It's possible that your provider has made a change.
I think STARTTLS usually is used with port 587, instead of the standard SSL port 465.

Background Job Monitoring not getting activated

Hi Gurus,
I have been trying to use the batch job monitoring with ccms.
I have a problem in activating the "Background Job Monitoring" in few systems.
I followed the steps in SAP Note 553953 but no use.
In RZ21 i am not able to see the Background Job Monitoring under "Background" MTE .
The same is wokring in Dev but in QA and Prod its not .
Please suggest the solution and cause of the problem.
