BK fell off but no score change

My BK7 was scheduled to officially fall off in September but I just noticed it no longer appears in my Experian report. I have not observed a change in my score yet but i will wait a few days, hopefully I will see a significant score increase. I'm at 665 FICO8 right now, I'm hoping to bring it up to at least 675 to have a fighting chance at refi with DCU

Im curious why your score was still low even before it fell off. Did you ever rebuild during the 10 yrs? Do you have any CC's? Did you have any late or any negs AT ALL AFTER your BK was discharged over the years? You should have been between 690 min-720 by now, BEFORE the BK fell off.
Im almost 2 yrs post BK7 ( next month) , and my scores are in my sig. and thats with 80+ inquires, 23 IIB negs, and 2 public records! (bk and paid tax lien)...
Not trying to put you down or anything...congrats on the BK falling off, I still have 8 long years to go...but Im just curious why your scores are the way they are "665". Hopefully it just hasn't updated yet, and remember.....
once your last neg falls off, you're then "re-bucketed" into the same circle of folks that your credit profile is like, and are now being compared to those as well. Keep us updated!!It's a fair question, but I didn't start rebuilding until this past March. Post BK I have 1 auto loan CO'd due to fall off in 1 year. I have 4 unsecured CC's, just got a 2K CLI this month, working on my UtilizationI made things worse post BK so I just paid off several collections in the past 5 months when I began rebuilding I'm hoping to see an increase bingo! Thats exactly why your scores are the way they are now. Even with the BK falling off, with a CO, high util, and just started rebuilding from your BK 10 yrs, and collectons....Im surprised your score is as high as it is.  Work on that util, try doing some PFD's for the collections, and 6 mo from now, hit up the CRA's for early exclusion deletion.  Keep plugging along, and work on the util. The cli will help.  Which cards do you have?  we can give you some advice as to CLI on them

Recently I changed my apple id but forgot to change my iCloud account.
I also have Find My Iphone activated. My old apple id was an old work email address no longer in use nor can be accessed.
I need to be able to turn off Find My Iphone in order to then delete my iCloud account, I need to include my apple id password to turn off Find my Iphone.
Is there a way around this?
    Thanks in advance.

Please go to website address: www.idapple.com Go to the blue tab that reads Manage apple id. From there you will have the option to change personal information of your apple id. The fact that the email address you used to create the apple id is no longer accessible as far as an email address goes will not disable you from changing information as part of the apple id account. However to disable the find my device you will need to be able to access this apple id login. Once you are able to access the old apple id account this then will allow you to access the icloud services by going to www.icloud.com from there you will login with your old apple id once logged into icloud.com and you have chosen the correct device you then can erase all contents of the device which then will disable the find my device.
This is one way of doing it. The other way of course would be for you to login to your icloud on your phone using the old Apple id and from there provided you are able to login with password you then can simply disable the find my device inside the icloud account.
    Good luck Friend.

    Hi kingminjing,
Have you checked your Control Panel to make sure you don't have the flashlight turned on?
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and make sure the flashlight icon (bottom left-hand corner) is not white. If it is, tap on it to turn it off.

  • FICO Score change

I recently learned of a drop in my FICO score from 820 to 808.  I cannot think of any reason for this except I cancelled my AMEX Gold Card after 52 years because of the annual $55 renewal fee and lack of need.  About the same date I received notice from Skype that my annual fee for subscriptions for two telephone numbers for use with their service had failed to be paid.  I had no outstanding charges for service usage and simply wanted to let the telephone numbers expire.  I think Skype had tried to charge the subcription renewal against my AMEX card just after cancellation.  I am now getting daily reminders from Skype by email that my subscriptions have expired but offering extended dates for renewal.  I am also notified that I will not be able to purchase other services or products until the subscriptions are paid. Would these circumstances warrant a 12 point drop in my credit score?

Check for new inquiries. None of what you said should allow for a hard inquiry but who knows. Look for any new reason codes associated with your score as they can point you toward cause for a score change. Check to see that Skype has not reported a late payment associated with their attempt to charge your AMEX. Also, look to make sure your AMEX was not closed with a non zero balance. Closing a high CL credit card will drop your combined credit line which results in an increase in aggregate credit utilization %. If utilization crosses a threshold, say 10%, this can drop score. However, if your AMEX is a charge card then it does not have a CL and should not factor into your combined CL. P.S. The 52 year age of your card will still count toward your AAoA for as long as it is listed on your credit report (closed accounts drop off 10 years after date of closure).

  • I change my apple Id and password in the Apple's webside but I can change it in my Iphone. How can i change my Icloud ID ? Help!!!

I change my apple Id and password in the Apple's website but I can change it in my Iphone. How can i change my Icloud ID ? Help!!!

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted.  If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • I have changed my apple-id but I cannot change it on my iCloud

I have changed my apple-id but I cannot change it on my iCloud so it still comes up with the old apple-id and asks for the old password. Problem is that the old apple-id is an e-mail account that is closed so I cannot get the information sent on the old account. I can access the iCloud account on my mac but not through iTunes so I cannot retrieve old information or activate Find my iPhone.
When I try to delete my iCloud account on my iPhone it comes up with my old apple-id and will not accept my old password so I cannot delete the iCloud account.
It is driving me crazy. Any ideas?

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. If the old ID is an earlier version of your new ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your new iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  You can now use your new password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Note: this will not work if your new ID is an entirely new ID that was never previously associated with the old email address.

  • I use the weather add-on, which says it can change locations every 5 minutes, but it never changes...how can I make that option work?

The weather add-on allows for entering multiple locations, and asks how often you'd like it to switch the display to show the current weather in different places. I chose "5 minutes", but it never changes.

Does the author of the add-on provide any support? If they do provide support you would be better off asking the author.
What add-on is it, there are quite a few weather add-ons.

  • Replace a key that fell off keyboard

    Hi There,
I can't seem to put back a key that fell off the keyboard of my daughter's graphite ibook. It doesn't seem broken but I wondered if there was a trick that I'm missing.
    Thanks
macbook pro, imac, ibook   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

Sometimes these keys can be tricky to get back on. What you should be able to do is place the key exactly where it should go and then press down on it and it should snap into place without you even having to do anything. Unfortunately this doesn't always work, but with some attempts to get it back on you should usually get it.
Sorry If I couldn't be of that much assistance.

  • Left Shift Key fell off

Hi guys, I don't know if this is such a weird issue but about two weeks or so ago, my left shift key fell off. I knew I couldn't snap it back on since one of the mini white clips on the upper side (back portion) of the key is missing.
Right now, I can put it back on the keyboard but it wiggles as I know it doesn't fit securely as it used to be. I wish I could take a photo of it and post it on here.
This should be covered by the generic 1-yr battery, right?
    Message was edited by: ricpacs

1-yr battery or warranty? The falling apart of keys may or may not be covered. There are various things that can happen to keyboards which are controllable by Apple, and the user. I would call AppleCare if you believe you didn't do anything that might damage the computer. A list of things that could include:
    1. Food
    2. Water
    3. Drink
    4. Walking by door jams without making sure the machine is inside a well padded notebook bag.
    5. Not paying attention to situations where the computer apparently overheats and shuts down on its own. Making sure that the machine has its display turn off when the lid is closed, and making sure that the battery is replaced if it is under the exchange program.

  • HT5622 I dowloand  ios7 but is not working FaceTime and iMessage.I tried turn off but still not working.

I download IOS 7 I'm really dissapoint because my FaceTime and iMessage is not working.I tried turn off but is not working.:(

    Try resetting the SMC.
MacBook and MacBook Pro with a battery you can remove
    Shut down the computer.
Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the computer, if it's connected.
    Remove the battery.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
    Release the power button.
Reconnect the battery and MagSafe power adapter.
Press the power button to turn on the computer
To reset the SMC on newer Mac portables with a battery you cannot remove
    Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

  • HT4623 when turn imessage on there is a message saying waiting for activation but it doesnt change anybody knows why?

when turn imessage on there is a message saying waiting for activation but it doesnt change anybody knows why?

    Hi guys,
I keep getting "waiting for activation" on my iMessage. I can only send/receive iMessage from my email address, NOT my phone number.
I have done all kind of fixing suggestions that I can find online, but nothing works so far.
    - Date & time set as automatic (I don't know why this matter, but mine was already set as automatic from the begining)
    - Reset network setting
    - Changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8.
    - Restore to factory setting (from back up & as new iPhone)
    - Turning on/off iMessage & facetime
    - Sign out/in of apple ID
    - Change location from apple ID
    - Hard reset/reboot
    And many others.
...me too. I'm in Portugal having the same issue!! Hopefuly Apple will give us a solution, shortly...
