BKPF-BKTXT (Doc header text source) for RV doc

Does anyone know if the doc header text for RV doc can be maintained anywhere in the source SD doc, so that it can be transfered to the RV accounting doc?

Hi,
you can see in table level
TCode SE16
Table name BKPF :
FI Document header details stored in this table like document number, document date, posting date, entry date, reference, header text, exchange rate, document type, etc.,
For each document it will store only one entry in the table.
This may update if any changes made in the document header like change in the header text / reference field.
Other than the above fields, some other fields also get updated like document change date, document reversal details (document number, date reversed)etc.,

Fill Doc Header Text in VL01N

Hi,
I made the delivery with transaction VL01N and of course it is generate a Material Document (mov type 601). if i try to change the material document i can change the field Doc Header text (mkpf-bktxt). So my question is can i fill this field when i am making the Delivery in transaction VL01N?

Hi Joas,
From your theard i could understand that you create a Delivery Note.
Delivery consists of three parts like
Picking, Packing and PGI( Post Goods Issue).
If you do picking and Packing the then save the delivery and delivery Number get Generated,But it doesnt mean Complete Delivery unless you Do the PGI.Once you Do the PGI Only the Material Document will get Generated.Yes while creation of Delivery you can maintian the text you required.

the SAP note 301077 lists the available userexits in SD/FI interface.
If, for example, you want to fill a BSEG field of customer line, userexit EXIT_SAPLV60B_002 is the good one.
Instead if you want to fill a BSEG field of a G/L line, userexit EXIT_SAPLV60B_004 is the good one.

My requirement is to to populate the Service Entry external key into the Document Header text.
( ServiceEntry - ERS Invoice (MRRL) ). through ML81N Transaction.I have checked for exits in ML81N as well as MIRO. those doesn't seem very convincing.
IF i see the field of Document header text where i need to populate the data it is
( BKPF-BKTXT ) how do i populate the data ( SE external field ) which is in ESSR table..?
if any one has some piece of code please send it across.
this is urgent pls help...........

Word Doc Header Text Disappearing with Acrobat plugin

I have a Word document with a header containing a graphic and text. When I use the Acrobat plug-in to create a PDF, the text does not display in the PDF, only the graphic. The graphic is a banner with text over it.
I have tried
Putting the text in as normal header text, within a text box, and within a table.
Sending the graphic to back and the text to front in Word.
The Print to PDF feature creates the header perfectly with the text over the graphic. However that feature does not allow me to create hyperlinks in the PDF for my table of contents, so is not the solution to my problem. (And honestly is just making me more crazy knowing it CAN work!)
An earlier version of this document did not have the same problem (I created a PDF from it several months ago, but recently updated the document - but not the header). Now, when I open the January version of the doc and create a PDF, the header is missing the text.
To my knowledge, I have not changed any settings in the Acrobat Plug-in Preferences or updated Word or the Acrobat plug-in since January.
Does anyone have any insight into why this might happen?

I was having the same issue on a large document, and deleting the objects wasn't an option. I discovered that unchecking Enable Accessibility and Reflow with tagged Adobe PDF on the Settings tab of the Acrobat PDFMaker Preferences menu solved the problem. My text boxes with fill color now show both the color and the text. (I'm running Word 2010 and Acrobat 11 Pro.)
I'm not sure I fully understand the functionality of the option I unchecked, but it does tag the document in the conversion process, which I prefer. But adding tags something that is easy to do once the document is created. If this is the best workaround, I'll take it, though it seems to be a bug in the Acrobat plug-in, since this didn't happen with the same document with the same settings previously. (I even tested on a Word document I have made no changes to and had created a PDF earlier. Sure enough, I recreated the behavior.)

Default text source for text tab in purchase requistion.

issue is about text which pops up when someone try to create purchase requisition using me51n. some text shows up under Text-item texts-item text at document level.This text should not be populated when someone creates purchase requisition.can some one help in finding the source for that text and how to stop it popping up in purchase requisitions gong forward.
second part of this issue is. one buyer has reported the text shows up only when in change mode.once you save the requisition its gone. i have seen this on screen when creating requisition text is in text editor but once you save it its gone.another buyer who is responsible to create purchase order has reported they can see the text when converts it in to purchase order and by going in requisition text can be found.
last part of this problem is i can't see this all in quality system every time i create purchase requisition text editor is blank.i am creating service requisition so material master text is out of scope.
one thing i noticed when some one creates the requisition in text- item texts -there two texts items " text and material po text " that has a green Ok sign in corresponding Any text field

In standard, you can find the all links where the text is coming from.
Go to OLME-Purchase Requisition-Texts for Purchase Requisitions-Define Copying Rules
Here, select Item text and click on Text linkages. You will find the linkage from where the text is coming.
Second Part : Its quite not possible in standard, Check is there any development which is removing the text when you press save button.
Third Part: Yes. In standard, material PO text will come when you will use material in PR. Other than the field will show in your text line, but it will show blank.
The green tick mark shows when a text is successfully copied from any source.

Header text dump for the given purchase orders.

Hello Gurus,
Could you please help in pulling the report, which contains all the header text and the header note data for the purchase orders.
I tried EKKO and EKPO, these tables giving me all the data except the Header details ( we as the end users will make so much of notes in the header of the po).
Please help me in pulling this report.

this seems to be more of a MM issue
However text is general stored (as pointers ) on the STXH/STXL tables.
You could try using the function module READ_TEXT in SE37
and the object will be EKPO

Create Header Text ID for Purchase Requisition

Hi All,
I have a requirement of creating a Header Text ID in Purchase Requisition.
I tried to create it using SPRO but it only creates Texts at Item level.
I think we can do it using copy control. Please share your input.

i dont think we can maintain Header Texts at PR header ( also check in MM forums )....
what you can do is , maintain same text for Vendor(LFM1-Object) ..then it wll automatically can copy to following documents ..ie. PO.

Is there Method to make Header Text empty for Tcode: COR1?

When we use tcode COR1 to create a process order, there is a long text near by the process order number. Generally, after we create a process order, the long text will be filled by relevant material description in my Production system, My requirement is that when I create a process order, the long text should be Empty or should be filled by specific value automatically.
Please suggest how to do this????

How to populate Doc Header Text Field & Ref Field in OASV Transaction?

I need to seek your help regarding, on how can I populate values in "Document Header Text Field" & "Reference Text Field" in OASV transaction, as these fields are invisible and are mandotory at document type.
(I know we can disable their status in the document type, but we don't want to do so).

(In Subsitution I am going with constant value to be replaced), I am defining it for Callup point 1, but it is not working.

Copy Mat. Doc Header Text to FI Doc. Header Text

Is there anyway to transfer the Material Document Header Text to the Accounting Document Header Text?
I tried to use the FI Substitution, but somehow in the substitution exit, it just cannot get the material document number from there.

I don't get any errors--the toolTip acts like that part of the script doesn't exist. The button shows the new caption and the tooTip also shows the new caption (which is the default, I believe), instead of the text from the text field. Normally you'd expect an error from JavaScript saying it can't find the referenced object--but I don't get anything like that. BTW: using Designer ES2 9.0
Maybe the toolTip part of the script should be separated from the caption part (creat an additional function) and perhaps on a different event? Like I said, It works if I feed it a string--just won't work with reference syntax? I don't get it.

Need to copy form tag in source for google docs form...cannot find it?

I have a google docs form that has worked, but they have just introduced an acknowledged bug that kills it.
SO, i need to copy the form tag from the source code, but there is no form tag (in safari or FF on mac viewing on me.com). It is in an iweb HTML widget, does this some how change where I find the form tag?
Below are the steps. Looking at non-iweb site with google form, the form tag is there.

6) Copy all the code between <form> and </form> tags and paste it into the new form page on your web site.

This was my bad, I realized that the instructions were referring to the form tags in source of the google docs forms website...since it is hosted, the form is not actually in iweb.
Google forms changed, after submit instead of a link to return to the form (i.e. your web) the link now says "create your own form" which means the user has not way to return (except the browser back button). Google says they will correct it in a future version...

Document Header Text in BKPF

Hello
In BKPF the document header text is case-sentive.If we search for eg. test* then it would return all the texts starting with test(in small) and if we search for TEST* it would return the texts starting with TEST and not test also.I have a select option(Document Header Text) on the selection screen and irrespective of the case it should select all the texts which i give the search for.For e.g if I give test* then it should return texts starting with (test as well as TEST).How can this be achieved?

Hi,
There is no simple solution to this. Either you build up a select-option yourself with all possible combinations of "test", "Test", "TEST" etc., or you would select all BKPF records in an internal table (usually not a good idea since this is normally a DB-table with many entries) and translate the BKTXT field to upper case and then select your records.
