Blacberry Curve 9300 - Not loading??

Hi guys,
I am a newbie here as I have never had a problem with my BB till now...
Igt completely run out of battery yesterday and since I have not been able to switch it back on? The loading page starts up with Blackberry in white and a loading bar, but that NEVER gets past halfway!? How can I resolve this?
I thought it maybe be a software/firmware issue but my alarm sounded at 9am and it came on, however the battery died straight away.
I have tried connecting to the mains and using an alternative battery.
Any advice as I really need my contacts... Thanks Adrian

Hi a1Adrian
First of try to Start your device on Safe Mode ,If that works Uninstall all applications from your device then perform a Battery pull Restart then see if that works.:
KB17877  : How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode.
But If you are unable to start your device on safe mode or if error persist then reload your device software using Loader .exe .For that follow this Knowledge base Article :
KB29847 :  BlackBerry Desktop Software is not required to perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry Smartphone.
Please try it and let us know of your progress.

Also, check that you are using only root USB ports...no hubs (sometimes the front-side ports are hubs...use a rear USB port). And make sure to try disabling USB power management in your system configuration (Device Manager).
Also check on conflicting software...it has been reported that the software package NTI Shadow&Ninja can cause a conflict; removing them and reinstalling the BB desktop software allows it to install correctly.
Apologies in advance if this is redundant -- there's no way to be sure if you've already seen and tried these. Also apologies if any are not presently available...RIM takes them up and down at will as they revise things.
    Hopefully something there is helpful!

  • Curve 9300 not streaming radio or Pandora

Just a week ago my new Curve 9300 stopped streaming Pandora and the carrier's online radio.

Hello rsayles and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
When it comes to 3rd party applications, its best to contact their support for assistance.
That being said, sometimes a simple solution to many issues is to remove the battery and re-insert it. Have you tried that?

  • Blackberry curve browser not loading!i boyght

I bought a bb curve 8520 off of ebay and its all in working order. Bbm, emails etc are all workig but i havent got blackberry app world so ive tried accessing the browser to download BBAP but the browser wont load. Whenever i try to load an internet page it shows a message saying something to do with the server being unavailable. How do i get my broswer to work?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:
KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode
It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.
If the behavior ceases, then think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
But if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you may need to consider more drastic actions -- WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, and the "Bare Bones" OS Reload Process. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup to your PC...please review the Backup link in my auto-sig on this post for instructions.

  • Trackpad BB Curve 9300 Not Working

    Dear Blackberry users,
I know this is a known problem with some blackberrys but I've tried everything I've seen and nothing works. I'll just explain my problem and say what I did.
Basiclly I have my blackberry since a bit more than a year now and the trackpad hadn't worked a lot of times, but usually a little rub and/or a battery pull would do the thing, but now nothing works. I've taken my battery out more than 20 times now, I have rubbed the trackpad a lot, I've tried blowing compressed air onto the trackpad but nothing seems to work.
It has been 3 days now and it is becoming very annoying, hence the reason why I am putting this post.
If anybody has been through this and has a "special" way of making it work, it would help me a lot!
Thank you very much to all the people that would answer that topic!

    Hi Lucadog,
It may be that your trackpad has simply stopped working and is broken (given what you've tried thus far, this is the likely explanation). In this case, you may need to swap the trackpad out for a new one. If the phone is still under warranty, you can take it into your carrier and they can get it fixed for you, otherwise, you should be able to take it to any cellphone repair shop and they should be able to complete the repairs for you. If you like and are comfortable making these repairs yourself, you can even buy trackpads online and there are videos that can show you how to replace the trackpad.
    I hope this info helps!

Having trouble setting up my email account, trying to link to BT Home Hub (BTinternet.com) but continually getting a massage that my 'username or password' is invalid, which of course it isn't. I've seen numerous discussion in forums about this issue with BB's and BT.

  • Erreur 108 blackberry curve 9300

    bonjour,
    cdlt

No, that is not what I said. Rather, what I said was that, when presented with the 507 during the process, unplug and replug the USB cord.
But, if your BB continues freezing at the point you reference, then you should instead use JL_CMDER or BBSAK to wipe and then reload your OS...and if, during the process, you receive the 507, then do as I've said.
If things remain challenging, then these two references may prove useful to your situation:
    http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/What_to_do_next_if_Jl_Cmder_will_not_connect_and_wipe
KB27956 How to recover a BlackBerry smartphone from any state
If things still continue to be challenging, then you may well have a hardware problem, for which no amount of OS loading can help.
    Good luck!

    Hello CPRM,
    Welcome to the forums.
In this case we can try to reload the software on the BlackBerry® smartphone to make sure it is running the latest version and there are no issues with the OS.
Here is how to backup your BlackBerry smartphone http://beryl/OPAC
Once you have backed up your BlackBerry smartphone please follow the link below to complete a clean reload of the BlackBerry smartphone software.
    Link: http://www.blackberry.com/bits/KB03621
Once completed test it and proceed with a selective restore, here is how to restore http://beryl/gigolo
If after doing the software reload you are still having the same issue then you will want to contact your wireless service provider or point of sale for options.
Hope this helps. Have a good day.

Não consigo desbloquear o firewall do blacberry curve 9300.
Acredito que por este motivo, não há o icone do navegador, então não consigo entrar ne internet, facebook, twitter, etc...

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
You must, in order to get the RIM push email functions you are looking for, as well as additional BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more.
So, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.
    Good luck.

  • MEDIA SERVICES ARE NOT AVAILABLE - CURVE 9300 3G / WINDOWS 7 ULT

I have installed the Blackberry desktop software and my new Curve 9300 connects and preforms the feature of syncing with my Outlook 2010 and does the backup and does the software upgrades for my phone.  The one thing i cannot seem go get to happen is the media sync.  The card is installed and under the option the card is enabled and sees the 2GIG therefore i assume the mass storage mode is turned on since both check boxes are enabled at the top of STORAGE in OPTIONS.
What can I do about this?  I have just about spent my entire day reading thru the net trying to get differnt takes on the problem but at this point before i have installed and uninstalled to the point of creating havoc on my laptop i would just like to know a direction to take.  Also if this matter or not when the phone is plug in thru the USB cable and in "My Computer" I do not see the 2Gig Card listed as a drive or anything like that.
Current version of OS software on the phone is 6.0.0.461
Current Blackberry Software is  Dec 6.2010 Bundle 21

    Thats good advice.

    Hi everyone,
I am currently using the Curve 9300 and I am not able to use my work email with the Blackberry Enterprise software. When I go to settings --> advanced system settings (which it says has enterprise activation) THERE IS NO ENTERPRISE ACTIVATION OPTION...
I also go to the set-up wizard and click email and my only options are yahoo, gmail, aol, windows live. There is no option for Blackberry enterprise.

    Hi there,
Well it was none of the issues neither with GPS nor server, it was basically that to send a SMS will have to do it with more clicks than on the IPhone4 or  Nokia C1, in my Iphone4 I can access even my hotmail without special data plans from the carrier but guess that I am just experiencing with Balckberry to see how it works before deciding for longterm use.
