Blacberry problem

When I forward E-mail from my Blackberry I get this code: 5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 550-'5.7.1 Command rejected'.
What does this mean.
What can I do about It.

Does the ePrint job gets rejected if you use Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail email ID's? Have you tried with the Black Berry email ID provided by your carrier?
For AT&T I believe it will be [email protected]
Try sending emails with this ID and check if it works or not.

Red blinking blacberry 9800 problem

Hello really need ur hlp, I hav a berry 9800 that is really frustrating me. The red light keeps on blinking but tha screen remains black. Wen connected to my laptop u can hear the sounds( its connected buh after 5seconds it disconnects) hav tried flashing it using bbsak, bb easy flasher(for 9800) buh no response. I hav also flashed it using th os loader buh its refusing to boot( WAITING FOR DEVICE INTIALIZATION). Any help?

Sync problems with outlook 2007 calender

I am new in this type of comms.
BUT: I have a Palm Tungsten T5; have Palm Desktop 6.2.2 with the update for Windows7.
I have a sync problem with outlook 2007 calender; contacts, ToDo, memos all ok.
HotSynLog says: there are multi-day repeating records. [i knew that they do not sync, hence i deleted them PRIOR to syncing]
I found the listed records BUT either on dif days and they are "no timed" ones! and NOT multi-days ones.
I deleted them anyway - did a re-sync. With no different result. Still listed - though deleted and now non-existent.
Error code: OLERR: 03-000F (0xaf604005) and others - if this means anything.

I receive email on my device from two addresses: 1) @sprint.blackberry.net and 2) @charter.net. When I was having problems similar to those you are experiencing, I had these two addresses listed under Default Services - Calendar (CICAl) - Messaging (CMIME). These addresses were @sprint.blacberry.net and @charter.net. Once I followed the steps previously referenced, only one email address(@sprint.blackberry.net) appeared under the (CICAI) and (CMMIE) default setting. Reference to @charter.net was removed. My syncs have worked correctly since then; however, I only two way synce with the device and Outlooks. I also continue to get emails from both addresses without a problem.
If you don't mind giving up the Yahoo calendar, I would do the same. If you want to continue using the Yahoo calendar, I'm guessing that it must be selected in the Default Services - Calendar (CICAI) before performing a sync. Likewise for your @sprint.blackberry.net address; it also must be selected in the Default Services prior to performing a device to Outlook sync.

Sync problems with Outlook 2007

I had some problems with syncing to outlook 2007: the agenda and contacts where not syncing anymore. I have a 32G 2nd gen iPod Touch (4.1) and using iTunes 10.0.1.22.
Details: some weeks ago suddenly the address and contacts items did not sync anymore in both directions. No error messages appeared after sync, so all looked fine. I found this article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1692 and noticed that creating a new user account on the PC did work. So, first I tried reinstalling iTunes (because when creating a new user account on the PC it also creates a new iTunes session): no result. Then I repaired outlook 2007 (go to control panel – software - and select change/delete at office 2007) and guess what: the problem was resolved. I just want to share this with you, that repairing outlook could help resolving this problem. Maybe this also works for other versions outlook.

Tracking a stolen blacberry curve

Calendar Sync Problems with Outlook 2007

I have had my 8300 Curve for about a month now and have had no trouble with syncs until today. Some how my Outlook appointments were deleted, but they remain on my Curve. I have tried various sync configurations to transfer this data from my Curve to Outlook. After the sync, the items remain on my Curve but are not available on Outlook. If I manually enter an appointment on Curve, it will sync, but the other past and future appointments will not.
I have also tried a hard reset, but no luck.
Any ideas?

Newbie with software problem

hi guys
im new to this site and b/berry phones.
after finally getting all my settings set up, i have a problem with desktop software...my phone backed up ok, but i cant use any media services...i keep getting this message:
"media services are not available - media storage is not available - please check that a media card is installed correctly in your blacberry device and that mass storage mode is turned on"
my settings are all correct, and ive even uninstalled the software and installed it again...still no joy.
can anybody help please

well, media storage not available is pointing you to an external memory... which means a media card... have you inserted any...??

i update my blackberry z10 through macbook, then the phone stopped working and started to flash red LED without any use of the phone,
after i used all the information provided on the blackberry support and i reload the softwear may time without any solution happe .

Problems of synchronization

For several months, I synchronized my smartphone BB Curve 8520 with a Mac (via USB) without problems. Since a couple of days, I can only synchronize from my BB to the Mac (calendar and contacts) and not from the Mac to my smartphone.
I have desinstall the Desktop Software from Mac and download a new one (from the CD “Blacberry User Tools” as well from the website). With the same impossibility to synchronize in the both ways. Could you help me, please? Thank You.

Problems with Blackberry protect

Hello Blackberry community,
Recently I had my Blackberry Bold stolen so I said "No problem, Blackberry protect will take care of all my stuff". "Its in the cloud". But today when I did the blackberry protect recovery in my brand new Q10 I realized that I only have 31 contacts now! Almost all of my contacts are GONE! Does anyone knows what might have happened with the rest of my contacts? I don't understand how the Blackberry protect weekly backups that I had set up only ended up saving a small portion of my contact list. According to the Blacberry protect website, the last Backup was on August 5, 2014. My cell phone was stolen on August 12, so the backup should be up to date. But its not. Is there a problem using Blackberry protect to migrate from Blackberry 7 to Blackberry 10? Any indication as to what is happening with my contacts will be greatly appreciated.

Hello there, more likely them 31 contacts are from an really old backup, and all your contacts are now synced wireless with your email. That's why you don't have them in a BlackBerry protect back up.
Did you set up your email yet? What is it, Gmail, outlook?

Thank you! I did change my Apple ID in february. But as I recall it I downloaded the app later than that, and in the Info in iTunes (on the Mac) it mentions my new Apple ID. I also bought it in Spain, and now I'm in Denmark. But none of the other apps I bought at the same time have had those problems. And do you have any solution to solve the problem? I tried to login with my old Apple ID, but for some reason the password won't work. It even told me that my birthday is wrong when I tried to renew the password? I'm not sure if I can enter that account again

A problem with threads

I am trying to implement some kind of a server listening for requests. The listener part of the app, is a daemon thread that listens for connections and instantiates a handling daemon thread once it gets some. However, my problem is that i must be able to kill the listening thread at the user's will (say via a sto button). I have done this via the Sun's proposed way, by testing a boolean flag in the loop, which is set to false when i wish to kill the thread. The problem with this thing is the following...
Once the thread starts excecuting, it will test the flag, find it true and enter the loop. At some point it will LOCK on the server socket waiting for connection. Unless some client actually connects, it will keep on listening indefinatelly whithought ever bothering to check for the flag again (no matter how many times you set the damn thing to false).
My question is this: Is there any real, non-theoretical, applied way to stop thread in java safely?

A problem with Threads and MMapi

I am tring to execute a class based on Game canvas.
The problem begin when I try to Play both a MIDI tone and to run an infinit Thread loop.
The MIDI tone "Stammers".

You can also try to provide a greater Priority to your player thread so that it gains the CPU time when ever it needs it and don't harm the playback.
However a loop in a Thread and that to an infinite loop is one kind of very bad programming, 'cuz the loop eats up most of your CPU time which in turn adds up more delays of the execution of other tasks (just as in your case it is the playback). By witting codes bit efficiently and planning out the architectural execution flow of the app before start writing the code helps solve these kind of issues.

J2ME problem with threads

I would like to ask you for a help. I need to write a small program at my university. I started to write a midlet which function would be to countdown time for sports activities. I woul like to start a new thread - the one that counts down - and at the same time make the main thread sleep. After the "countdown" thread finishes, the main thread wakes up and waits for user input. The problem is that when the "countdown" thread finishes his work, I've got Uncaught exception java/lang/NullPointerException. error and the midlet halts.

Your Licznik class has a member m of type monitor, which has not been instantiated (in other words is null) hence, when calling m.put() you get NullPointerException. Please also mind, that using Thread.sleep(1000) is not an accurate way of measuring time.
If I may, please use recommended for Java class naming conventions - some of your names use lower case, while other don't which is confusing to the reader.
