  • Black background in Itunes Store and help

    Hello,
I have a problem with Itunes on this Windows Vista pc. I get a black background on the store and help, and was unable to change payment information due to unvissible black list for creditcard dates. The help just does not display text.
I have already tried  to reinstall multiple times.
Also I tried another windows vista pc which was ok on the same apple id.
    Also Itunes crashes pretty often
Now I am running out of ideas and i hope you can help me.
    Thanks in advance
    Ama

My ITunes page is black and captions are obscure, eliminating any chance to browse.   How can I change the background back to the original?

  • Revert black background in iTunes to iTunes 8

    Hi ALL,
Is there a way that I can change to BLACK background (skin) in iTunes 10.
I can't see the arrows next to the songs and have to multiple click until it runs.
In iTunes 8 it was "Gray" is it possible to revert the black to gray.
    Thanks ...

    Hi Limnos,
    Thanks for posting back.
Yes, I know already that this is NOT a easy job to do, but I don't like the BLACK looks.
    It's bad for my eyes.
    Thanks anyway ...

  • Black background on iTunes U web view?

    Hi all,
I recently signed into Brown University's iTunes U and looked at the web view for our Around Brown collection (http://itunes.apple.com/us/itunes-u/around-brown/id381078601). For some reason, the background is black. On other collections, the background is white as always (e.g. http://itunes.apple.com/us/itunes-u/radio-open-source-christopher/id381080330).
How can we change this back?
    Thank you!

I agree with Natalia. With the black background, the body text, which is gray, is hard to read. This is especially true in the track listing area, where the background is actually a darker gray, a few shades lighter than the main background. The headers are fine since they are solid white.
Also, why black for video collections? It's not like you can watch the video on this page. Yet?.

  • Black Screen in iTunes Store

Whenever I open the iTunes store, the home pages of all of the sections (Music, App Store, Films etc) are black. They still have clickable hyperlinks, but I can't see what I'm clicking. Any pages accessed through the drop-down menus or by randomly clicking are fine. I am using iTunes 9.2.0.61(HP) on Windows XP. This problem only started when I installed the latest iTunes and downloaded iOS 4 for iPod Touch 2nd Gen. Any suggestion?
    Thanks

I have the same problem and have narrowed the cause down to an incompatibility with my AV software - Avast.
If you are using Avast try this - open itunes store >> open Avast user interface >> Real time shields >> Bahaviour Shield >> Select Stop.
Close Avast user interface and the Itunes store is now visible.
I have tried stopping the behaviour shield permanently but the black screen is still present when itunes/istore opens. Seems you have to disable the shield while Itunes is open for this to work.
Frustrating, but at least I can now see the images in the istore.

  • Black background in  itunes 11.0.2

up graded itunes to 11.o.2  on mt imac .  when i opened itunes the background is black and the letters are white . i also upgraded my macbook that didn't happen .
how do i put the imac back to normal ?

Sorry, but that is indeed no longer possible. Apple for some unexplained (and unfathomable) reason removed that feature from iTunes 11. You can request that the put it back via their feedback page, if you wish:

  • Can't read text in iTunes store since downloading latest version

Since I downloaded the latest version of iTunes, I now have a black background in the iTunes Store window and can't see any of the text - names of albums/tracks etc. The album artwork is fine, but the text is either completely invisible or vaguely appears in a very small, faint, white font when I move the mouse pointer over it. This is only on my ancient PC (XP); my new laptop (with Vista) has no problems with it at all.
    Any suggestions gratefully received!

    This worked for me:
OK found the issue solution which worked for me. Thanks to Micky on another forum.
"I checked my graphic settings and found that my system use colour profile provided by monitor's manufacturer. Then I added sRGB profile and set it as default and after that iTunes background in iTunes store was white as it should and all options and text are visible now.
For Windows: exact procedure may be different on various OS and monitors, but the steps will be similar. Open - My Computer > control panel > display > settings > advanced > color management. Click Add > select sRGB Color Space Profile.icm > Add Select sRGB Color Space Profile > Set as Default Click Apply > OK > OK Your monitor should now display the sRGB color space.
Had to restart and for good measure I physically turned off the monitor (which I probably haven't done in who knows how long)counted to ten and then turned it back on."

  • Itunes store won't display since upgrading to itunes 9 - use iolo antivirus

Since upgrading to itunes 9 we cannot view the itunes store. I get a blank white background stating "itunes store" in gray across it. I can see itunes column browser but not regular visuals. I noticed when i ran diagnostics, it is accessing the store. I just cannot view as normal viewing. Not sure what the regular view is called.

I'm having the same problem! At first after installing leopard it wouldn't let me access the apple site! Called support they had me make up another user and access it from there and it worked. Also closed all my start up items. Now it won't let me access Itunes store even though I can access the web for everything else! Any clues??

  • Black background and white letters?

Lion 10.7.2 and iTunes 10.5 on a Mac Pro.
Everything has been fine until this morning when all of a sudden my background has changed color to black and the characters are white. I don't know what I did to cause this. More importantly, I don't have a clue on how to go back to a white background and black characters.
    Thanks for any help.

    Tom,
Thanks for the suggestion. However, while doing this does change the background on iTunes, it also flips the all the other windows to a black background and white characters. The only app that has the black background is iTunes, everything else is fine.
