Black Berry Desktop

I use BB Desktop 6.0.0.43 bundle 47; I just installed OFFICE 2010 and I cannot sync with Outlook 2010
any clues how I can resolve this problem.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Please check the version of Outlook 2010...if it is the 64bit version, then you are out of luck..see this KB:
KB17149Support for Microsoft Outlook 2010 64-bit version
If it is the 32bit version, then please post back with specific symptoms..."cannot sync" tells us very little. Specific details about exactly the steps you take and exactly the results you witness will help us best to help you.
Good luck!

  • Black Berry Desktop software_ useless

It is a herculean task to download teh desktop software, first you need fill the form each time you have download. when you start downloading, half way thru it shuts down. We have to start again. Compared to this Nokai software is so easy to download and less hassle. You buy trouble by buying black berry. The connection is bad ( service provide connection is verygood),  the synchronisation doesn't happen and if it happens the more than once the email are loaded.
IF YOU WANT BUY TROUBLE, BUY BLACKBERRY

Never a moment of problems with issues for those matters with me.
But then again, a BlackBerry is NOT for everyone.

  • Black berry desktop software not display on pc after installation

I have recently reinstalled Windows XP on my PC, so I am trying to get the Desktop Manager software back on to my computer. I have tried installing several times from the original software disk (version 4.2, I think) and have also tried downloading from the Blackberry website and from cnet, and even from the TMobile website. Each time I try, everything seems to install just fine, but when I try to open the desktop manager it does nothing, it's just a blank window that eventually just closes. When I try to open the Device Manager, I get an error message that says "This application has failed to start because libBBLaunchAgent.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." So I have tried re-installing over and over and every time I get the same result, no matter if I download from the disk or from any website. I have tried to search my computer for the .dll file but there are no results, even in hidden folders. I have done a google search of the .dll file and nothing comes up so I am completely lost and clueless. I have never had trouble installing this software on my PC, it just won't install since I have re-installed Windows. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks!

    Hello rusah,
    Welcome To BlackBerry Support Forums!
Your problem with the BlackBerry Desktop Manager is very common on Windows XP PCs
From what I've heard, BlackBerry Desktop Manager is Only Compatiable with Windows 7 and Mac but on some Windows XP Computers will it run. Please try going to http://www.blackberry.com and try finding the BB Desktop Manager
*Before you re-install it go to >Control Panal and find the Item that says somthing about deleting Applications off of your Computer
Please let me know if this was Helpful, if it was please mark this comment as the Solution!

    Hey anandmanoj,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
You can definitely tether your BlackBerry as a modem on the Mac but not the iPad.

  • How to sync Black Berry to iphone 4

I've tried sync with outlook from BB and it copied but
All the contacts showing no Name
i used black berry desktop manager

OK, taking a closer look at the aforementioned information it looks like I'm comparing apples to oranges. My quest has been to use iTunes to download music to my Blackberry Bold smartphone. I haven't yet found a way to accomplish this. I downloaded the Sync software, no luck. I went to the Blackberry Desktop software, no luck.  I haven't checked yet but I'm asuming the songs I downloaded to my Blackberry from Amazon will be available to my computer. One would hope so but it's not a necessity to me. I like iTunes and wanted to make better use of it with my Blackberry but I guess that's not going to be an option. I wonder if anyone is monorting this site?  If you are and have any other suggestions, I'm still flexible. I don't mind a personal email: [email protected]

  • Black berry software update

I wish to enquire if there is a means of updating my black berry phone OS manually other than via internet while connected through black berry desktop software suite? Cos this process takes time and keep breaking or terminating in the process.
    Thanks

Sure, I use to follow this procedure:
Download the OS file here for example: BlackBerry Torch 9860 - Firmware-Updates & Support von Vodafone
Instructions for installing on the almost all BB models:
    1. Download the above OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
    2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml." Vista/Win7 users: In the apploader folder, simply click on "Compatibility files" to see the actual Vendor.xml file. Once you've got that - simply delete the vendor.xml file there (even if you've deleted or think you've deleted it in the folder previously) and voila, it will allow you to update to the newly installed OS!
    3. Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.
The process may take up to 45 minutes to an hour depending on how much data you have to backup and restore during the process. Once it's done loading the new OS it will reboot (it may do this twice during the entire process.) You will see a black "BlackBerry" screen with a status bar for up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says "waiting for initialization."
If, for some reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply connect to the PC again and run Loader.exe again, and it should load the OS to the device.

  • Posting to Black Berry

When I add to my calendar on Outlook Express and then go to Black Berry Desktop Manager, the dates do not load into my phone.  I need help

Dilip, Greetings, and welcome to the BlackBerry.com Support Forums.
It is always helpful to receive help, to include your carrier name, so that when you have a question, that information won't need to be asked up front. Also, stating your device Operating System version is normally another common question, found on your BlackBerry at Options > About, third line down, looks like "v4.x.x.xxx"
Here are some good charging tips, please read and you'll see that many of them will apply to you.

  • My Black Berry Desk Top Manager doesn't work on my computer help!

On March 6 I took my BlackBerry® Style™ 9670 smartphone  in for software issues after tech support did a hard reset on the device. I went home to back up my information and was unsuccessful. The connection failed this is the first time that the desk top software had problems. I un-installed The Desktop software and reinstalled and the disk that came with the phone open almost "1 Million" windows therefore opening some type of virus on my computer. I tried to install from the Black Berry site and it did the same thing. I had to get my computer serviced, I tried installing from the site yet again and now it still isn't working when installed... Help!!

    Hi luciana247,
Welcome to BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Can you provide more detail on what happens with the Desktop Software after the last reinstall? What error messages are being received? Are you able to open it? At what point does it stop working?

  • Video on my Black Berry Flip

I"m trying to get video converted correctly on my Black Berry flip phone, but I can't seem to figure out how to convert the video with the Roxio Media manager so that the video is saved sideways.. So when I play it in my Black Berry Flip it fills up the whole screen...
Anyone know how I would do this?
    Thanks.

    Hi there,
Strange indeed -- but your follow up did manage to clarify your original question. But, just to be sure...let me restate.
You are attempting to move video files to your BB via Media Manager, and when it converts (during the move), the result it does not rotate the image 90 degrees so that it uses your entire screen. Rather, it leaves it unrotated and the image is squeezed into the narrow width of your screen.
Is that correct? If not, please provide corrections. In any event, more information would be needed to help:
    1) Your specific BB model number:
    2) Your specific BB OS level (all 4 octets please):
    3) Your carrier/country:
    4) Your Desktop Manager version (again, all 4 octets please):
I assume that, when you perform the copy/transcode, you are selecting the Media Manager option to transcode for optimal playback on your BB device?
    Thanks!

Is the Black Berry Desk Manager the same as the Black Desk Software?

    Hello diezdeonate,
Older versions were once referred to as BlackBerry Desktop Manager. All current version are referred to as BlackBerry Desktop Software.

  • How to set custom font family in qml label in black berry 10 os

how to set custom font family in label text  qml in black berry 10 OS

AFAIK, this is not the correct way to set the image location.
We call the working directory as context, so inside the context root along with WEB-INF, maintain a folder with name img and put all the images in that directory.
You can use either .\<image_folder> or the optimum way would be (if you are using JSPs) to use getContext() method and traverse accordingly.
FYI,,, using getContext() will give you context root directory, from there it is as simple as accessing any other folder.
    Hope this answers your question.
    Cheers,
    Jeets.

  • I need to know how to connect with my Black Berry

Hi good morning, A few days ago I bought a 3rd generation ipad with wifi and I need to know how to connect with my Black Berry, as if this were the modem. Regards and thanks

The BB has to be set up as a wifi hotspot. After you do that just connect the iPad to the wifi network created on the BB the same way you connect to any other wifi network.
