Black Line

When I go under the "clock" and choose my clock, there is a little black line right below where it says "Delete this Clock." It's only on this screen, but I'm wondering if it's even supposed to be there.
Does anyone else have this on their nano?

Joy, yeah I have it too.
If you scroll onto "delete this clock" and center-click, the nano goes to a submenu giving you the option to cancel this action or delete the clock.
This way if your traveling you can remove irrelevant clock clutter when you don't need them anymore.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus - vertical black lines only when autofeed

I have multiple black lines (darkest about 3 inches from left) when I autofeed a print document. When I feed a clean sheet, I get the single dark line. There are no lines if I copy using the top glass,  I followed the HP autofeed cleaning instructions TWICE. The white rollers were clean and only slight black smudge on the black rollers. I am certain this has happened to others...Oh yes, my HP warranty expired in late March (Costco may cover it if this is not a simple fix).
I would appreciate any assistance, as this has been a great printer.

This article should help out with the problem you are facing. Give the steps outlined a try and let us know if it helps.

  • Ssrs 2008 r2 black line incorrectly being displayed

In an existing SSRS 2008 r2 report, I just added a page header so that I can display global values in the page header like run date, run time, and page number. Within the report header, I placed all the report header data within a rectangle. Now when I run
the report, there is a black line appearing after the report header but before the details of the report.
I have changed all the border colors to be white and the borderstyle to none. The black solid line between last part of report header to before the detail data keeps appearing.
Thus can you tell me how to keep this black line from end of pageheader or rectangle to before the detail data from appearing?

    Hi wendy,
According to your description, I taken a simple test in my local environment (SSRS 2008R2). In my scenario, I insert a page header in the report, then use a rectangle to contain all the items (such as global values) within the page header after creating
a table in the report body. While everything goes well, and there is no such a black line between page header and report body.
As per my understanding, may be you have set the BorderColor property to Black and BorderStyle to Solid of Page header or Rectangle or Report Body. So we can double check those item properties in the report.

  • How to remove the black line from a stacked canvas at run time???

    Hi All,
I've developed a stacked canvas within a content canvas, when I run the form the stacked canvas apeared with a black line takes it.
How to remove this line or how to disappear this line at run time??
I tried to do this by putting (no line) in tools palette to the line color tool after selecting the black line one and after selecting the stacked canvas another once, but this did not resolve the problem!
    I need something else:
I put the stacked canvas at detail data block and it didn't appear since I execute query in master data block
How to appear the stacked canvas directly before executing query in master data block???

    Hi,
u mean the border line? In stacked canvas property, select contour/outline and set it to none.
Make sure, the stacked canvas is behind the content canvas in the objectnavigator. Then check your
    properties of the stacked canvas:
    - Position on content canvas
    - size
    - size of clipping
Set stacked canvas property automatic visible to yes.
Make sure the stacked canvas is not overlayed by other stacked canvas or items.

  • HP Laserjet Pro MFP M12fn, printing a solid black line on every paper

I'm running windows 7 professional. I haven't received any error messages and nothing out of the oridarny has happened. My printer/scanner/fax/copy (My HP Laserjet Pro MFP M12fn, product # CZ181A) is printing with a black line down the entire paper, but its only doing it thru the feeder and not on the glass. HELP, How can I fix this?

Welcome to the HP Forums angelinaOO7,
I read your post, which indicates that you are getting a black line down the page when using the feeder. You can print fine from the glass. I can help you with this.
I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Clean the scanning glass and platen.
    Turn the printer off.
Disconnect the power cord from the product and the wall outlet.
    Open the scanner lid.
Clean the following scanner areas with a soft cloth or sponge that has been moistened with nonabrasive glass cleaner.
    Main scanner glass.
Small scanner glass to the left of the main scanner glass.
    White plastic backing.
Dry the glass and white plastic backing with a chamois or a cellulose sponge to prevent spotting.
Plug the power cord into the product and the wall outlet.
    Turn the printer on.
    Try to make another copy.
If you are still having issues, then update the printer's firmware.

  • HP 3800 Color LJ Prints 2 black lines. Pic Included

    Hi,
I have a HP Color LaserJet 3800. Since last summer it has been printing 2 black horizontal lines across every page. They are always in the same spot, so I'm thinking it is just something that needs to get cleaned and have ruled out the cartridges. (They have all been replaced multiple times since the issue first started). This happends with and without using the duplexer.
I took out the fuser? I think that's what it's called from under the front cover (It was really hot) and cleaned it with a moist papertowl, but that did not make any difference.
Any suggestions on what to clean or where the parts are located? I'm a noob when it comes to working on printers, so a step by step/diagram/pictures will be the best way to explain,
Here is a picture of what the pages look like, I have circled the black lines:

Scratch that, I looked at the manual and found how to open a part to fix a paper jam. There were two rollers in there that fit perfectly with the lines. I cleaned them up and now no more black lines.
Fyi, to get at the rollers I had to open the front of the printer, then on the bottom of the inside are 2 green tabs. I pressed them and lifted up the plastic piece to reveal these rollers.

  • I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500A with black line problems

My HP Officejet Pro 8500A has a problem when documents are placed on the automatic feed.  The printed document comes out with a black line down the middle of the new printed document.  Today it has started putting black lines down my printed pictures that come from my computer.  The computer is less than one month old.  HELP!!!

This model has separate ink supplies and printheads.  Ink is required in all the colors to keep the printheads and plumbing from clogging.  See this page for information on how ink is used.

  • Thin horizontal black line at BOTTOM of page when scan on HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus

I owned an HP Officejet Pro 8500 and scanning was perfect.  I recently purchased an HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.
When I scan from the HP 8600 auto document feeder, I get a thin (several pixel wide) black line along the bottom edge of the resulting scan.  This line will sometimes be slighly crooked or only appear across half the page, in which case it tends to get thicker toward the edge of the page).  I believe this line is an artifact from scanning the very bottom edge of the oroginal document.  I think it is showing where the bottom edge of the page was when scanned.  If the document is a little skewed, then the black line at the bottom will be a little crooked, probably following the edge of the page.  This problem is consistent, and repeatable.  It happens in both "Scan To E-mail" mode and "Scan To Network Folder" mode.
When I scan from the flat bed, I get a very narrow black line along the very top edge of the resulting scan, but the bottom appears fine (although I've not tested this extensively).
These thin black lines did not occur when scanning from the HP 8500.
I am wondering if there is a setting to adjust this, or if it is a firmware difference between printers that needs debugging.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

I find it interesting that the issue happens across both printers.  This is what leads me to believe this is something with the software/connection with the PC.  One thing I will note is that you mentioned above using Adobe Reader 10.1.6.  The latest version of Adobe Reader is 11.0.02.  I would advise removing your current version of Adobe Reader and install the latest version.
I am not sure if this will fix the issue as you mentioned the line comes across in jpeg and other scanning styles.  Do you possibly have another PC you could try setting up a connection with quickly and attempting a scan?  This would be another way to ensure if the issue is coming from the printer or a connection/software issue.
I would like to make sure the issue is coming from the scanners on these printers before returning the printers as I would hate for you to get another model printer and the issue remain with this printer as well.  However, I will note that the Laserjet Pro 200 is a nice series printer from my experience.  I have used the Laserjet Pro 200 black and white only edition, the MFP, and the TopShot edition where I am located.

  • How to fix black horizantal black lines on 2010macbook pro 17' screen?

    Hi everyone!
I come to the community for help after  looking everywhere on the internet. I've had a problem now with my computer for a while where these strange black lines (always horizontal in nature) appear on my screen. I have two pictures below:
    http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/hh521/violentfirebomb/blacklines02_zps5de5cc 51.jpg
    http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/hh521/violentfirebomb/blacklines01_zpsfe260c 8d.jpg
These black lines will appear out of no where and they won't go away unless I select whatever is there and move my mouse. If it's across some font, I can select the font and easily go over the black line and it'll disappear.
Also, the more permanent things is random drop shadows from open windows won't work or the shadow won't work in places. Sometimes the font below a folder or above an icon on my dock will just be gone, like a chunk of it missing the size of those black lines you see in pictures above.
Is it something I can fix? Should I take it into the genius bar? My computer is a 17' Macbook Pro from 2010 and I'll be honest, this never happened until I upgraded to Mountain Lion. I even reinstalled Mountain Lion but the black lines and random text as well as drop shadow disappearances have returned.
Let me know what everyone thinks!  I'd like to solve this mystery as quickly as I can! Thanks in advance.
    Leslie

When you have problems with the display, there are usually three possibilities:  The wire connection is faulty, the display is faulty or the GPU is having problems.  All are are hardware issues that cannot be solved by software and generally do not fall into the do it yourself category.
    Ciao.

  • How do I eliminate text with black lines through the words

I am using Firefox 14.0.1 on Linux Ubuntu 11.04.
I am getting black lines through the text on some web sites. Mostly Google. How do I eliminate the lines.

A few other basic trouble shooting things you can try is this:
Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.
Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]
Update all your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): [http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/ http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/].
Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. [http://www.malwarebytes.org/ http://www.malwarebytes.org/]. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. You can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.
