Black or multi-colored strip an right hand side of copies

My C7280 was not used for two weeks. When I returned home, the printer prints a black or multi-colored line about 1/2 inch wide down the right hand side of the copy. I ran the print dead cleaners three times. Any ideas what is wrokng?

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with black lines on your scans or copies. I have had this issue myself on my very own 8600 and I was able to get it resolved. The issue actually stemmed from two locations and with any luck we can get this issue resolved for you. First thing to look at is under the scanner lid. Lift the scanner lid and to the left of the large scanner glass, you will see a small strip of glass. Please take a light glass cleaner and a lint free cloth and clean the small glass area as well as the big glass . On the under side of the lid, you will see a white plastic strip. Please clean this as well. IF you have already done these steps then please move on to the next step.
The printer power cable needs to be connected to a wall outlet and NOT a power Bar/Strip. HP printers already have a built in surge protector and if you have it plugged into a Bar/Strip, the printer will NOT get all the power needed to function properly and it will cause issues with scans or copies and it could even generate false error messages on the printer display screen.

Apple tv gen 1 only shows logo and black and multi colored stripes

My ATV sarts up with all the normal music sound however the screen only displays the apple logo with a background of horizontal black and multicolor strips. The strips about 1/2" wide are set in three sections across the screen. The center section strips are offset by one strip from the two end sets.
Is this a video board issue or something else?

Sounds like a graphics failure to me, but I suppose it could be the HDMI cable. Try a different cable and try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, but I fear the worst.

One Big Gray Stripe on right hand side not a year old

I tried looking for a fix I have a big Grey stripe right of center on my screen.
Screen Capture will not pick it up and I have only had the computer bought new
since January 2013.
Anybody know what can be done or if I take it in will they cover under warranty??

Book an appointment at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store (or contact Apple support by phone). This sounds like a graphics issue and should be covered by your warranty.

1099 2010 Forms Print with heavy black line down the right hand side

When we print the 1099 2010 Mscellaneous Income form we have this heavy black line that goes down the right hand side of the margin. We already applied all notes for 2010, including the latest one that had the margin correction published on 1/21/2011.

Ours print that way, too. The black line is in the 1099MISC_2010.bmp image that SAP provided in the note. The image is used as the background for the forms.

Hp Color LaserJet CP2025n printing a yellow band down the right hand side,

I have a Hp Color LaserJet CP2025n running on a Desk top computer OS win 7 64bit, printer Serial Number [edited Serial Number by Moderator] and another number on the label CB494A, The printer has started printing a yellow band 1.5 cm wide all the way down the right hand side of the page, any ideas or suggestions much appriciated.

You could have a hardware issue, but try this and see if it helps.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

All the rest I want to hide. And if I want to remove the tool bar, how do I do this? it doesn't have a close box anymore? Also every time I open a file now, it opens up with the black background as default. How do I go back to the old way where it just opens a window?

Click the very top part of each pallet and this minimizes everything in that pallet to the side. If you want to close the pallet altogether, be sure it is open and then click the "x" in the top right of that pallet.

I'm guessing you need to hit the "F"key a few times (if this fixes it then it really isn't the "background" color that has changed). Otherwise you can change it here when opening a new file:

IPod Nano 4th Gen White "scratch" mark on right hand side

There is a white scratch mark, in the right hand side of the screen, you try to wipe it, but it won't go away, it is inside the screen, when watching a movie with a black background, the scratch turns white, when watching a movie with a white background, the mark turns black.

If you are still under warranty, call Apple and take it in for repair. Otherwise, see if a local repair shop can help you. If the blemish is under the screen, there's nothing much you can do about it.

My wifi network connection is not working, will read "unable to join". Am able to access as a guest. When I hit the blue arrow on the right hand side of my network there is no information e.g ip address, subnet mask, etc. This info is in my guest area.

My network has not been working today. When I click on it it says "unable to access nhe network". My guest network will work. When I hit the blue arrow on the right hand side of my network there is no information in the IP address, subnet mask, router, etc. There is information in my guest section when I checked. I have unplugged and replugged my router and turned my Wifi button of and off, started and restarted my Ipod as per internet suggestions. Would anyone know how to get my network reactivated. I am nervous to hit reset network settings in case I lose all my music and icons, etc. added since I got my Ipod. Thank you for any assistance

Do other devices now connect?
Did the iPod connect before?
What encryption/security is the router using?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Desktop appearance problem: For no apparent reason my Mac running OSX 10.4.11 imposed a mesh-like pattern over the folders on my desktop and also across the top of the screen and down the right-hand side where I have the dock. How do I remove it?

For no apparent reason my Mac (2 GHz PowerPC G5) running 10.4.11 has put a mesh-like pattern over the folders on my desktop and also a band of the same pattern across the top of the screen and down the right-hand side over the dock. (See screen grabs below.)
It doesn't affect any operations but makes folder names and drop-down menus difficult to read through the pattern.
I'm not aware of changing any settings so suspect I must have clicked on something without noticing. How do I get rid of the overlaid pattern, please?
