Black prints are light blue-green

Print setting: Quality = Best, Grayscale and/or Color = High Quality
I have run HP Print and Scan Doctor = had to uninstall and reinstall software then it checked out as okay
Test Print from HP Print Doctor = colors are good
Printer is connect to computer with USB
Document prints are very light and a blue-green in color. Not black
I have two HP cartridges: a new 60XL and used 60 = I got the same results from both.

I read your post about the "Print Quality" issue you are currently having.  I would suggest trying the guide I post for you below to hopefully rid the problem and having the prints turn out normal again!

If the troubleshooting does not help at all, I would lastly suggest contacting HP's technical support to review your printer options with you.

    I have a Macbook Pro 17'', 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 (late 2011). I dont know what happened but the screen shows red flickering pixels everywhere where it should be black, and light blue pixels where it should be gray, I had this problem twice, the first time it just disappeared by itself. Now it's been like this for days, I have really no clue.
    Anyone with the same problem or solution?

  • Hp color laserjet cp4020 series black printing too light

    Our company bought an HP Color LaserJet CP4025 about 2 months ago.  It printed perfectly through our first deadline, but when we changed the black toner cartridge, it now prints somewhat brown or gray and the colors aren't quite as bright.  What can we do to fix this?

    So the other colors are printing darker / or look normal?  If Only the Black is faded even on the config page relative to the other colors present, or in other documents?
    Do you have another cartridge to test out if this is a cartridge issue?
    In the Service manual it indicate the if print is light or faded in a particular color there may be a poor primary transfer bias contacts on the ITB unit and product, or porro primary charging bias contacts with the print cartridge and product, or poor developing bias contacts with the print cartridge and product
    Solution: Clean the contacts of the color that produces the light print.  If the problem remains after cleaning check the contacts for damage.  Replace any deformed or damaged parts.

  • My Iphone 4s safari is black instead of light blue.

    When I open the safari the light blue parts top and bottom (where you can load a previous page and the area where the url is to be enter) is black.
    The white on black is turned off
    How can i fixs this?
    Also the sceen has a yellow ting compared to the iphone 4? whats going on?

    You have private browsing switched on. Turn it off in Setings\Safari

    If a page you go to opens in a new tab, there is no 'back' to go to. If that is the case, just close the tab and you'll be at the page you came from.

  • Why are my documents only printing in light blue

    My pages doc. are printing in blue on every computer, but everything else i print on line comes out in black.

    Not that I can see. And it's not just a problem with compilations. I have 81 Bob Dylan albums ..........
    The problem as I see it is that the ARTIST view (unlike the ALBUM view) always has the tracks showing, whereas ALBUM view only shows the tracks when you select an album.
    You can see a list of compilations if you are in SONGS with the Column Browser enabled. Compilations is then the first choice in the Artists pane of the browser.

  • Apple applications printing -- black fonts are now blue in lion

    as of Lion, both my laptop and my desktop macpro exhibit this behavior. All Apple created applications now print black text as blue. Other apps such as adobe reader do not. also things printed from Google Chrome work fine, as long as  you don't allow CHrome to use the Apple system printer controller utility.
    anybody else have this problem?

    Yes, must have accidentally hit Apple+F5 and turned on the Voice Over options. With my speakers turned off, I hadn't noticed the Voice Over function in action.

  • Blue/Green Screen And Multiple Cameras?

    Next week a number of us are demonstrating Blue/Green Screen filming and editing to members of our video club who are not familiar with the technique.
    Originally the person who thought up the idea intended to have 3 groups of people filming a 2 minute script on a "station platform" a la "Brief Encounter".
    So far, so good, but then the creator of the idea suggested we should shoot each scene with 2 or 3 cameras to make it look more professional.
    I don't like complications when the aim is to demonstrate a technique, but somebody has suggested there will be a further drawback.
    When we cut from one camera to another during editing, the angle of the "actors" will alter but the background will not!
    This will create the equivalent of a jump-cut.
    Has anyone done such a shoot, experienced this problem or found a (reasonably simple) solution?
    My idea of a solution is to have one camera in a fixed position! But, then, I am lazy.

    You know me and my speculations (what You got without enough Know-How)
    But I would try to first apply Green-screen effect to one Camera angle
    at a time. Then I can get another background for Camera two etc.
    Then save these as QT full quality .mov (or rather back to Camera and new tape
    feel much safer this way) and re-import then and now prepare
    for multi angle cutting. (By putting one Camera on each track. Minimizing size
    to 25% and locate each to one separate corner)
    Now playback and I will in Canvas see all Cameras in each corner and can by using
    transparicy adjuts which one to be seen.
    Then as a last action - upscale all to 100%
    Done
    But as You see this is me just speculating. I fell for FC-Pro and the MultiCam
    function here. It's fantastic.

  • Laserjet 2605dn color printing problem, Blue/green line on page.

    I have an HP color laserjet 2605dn that has started to print a faint,thin  blue/green line from top to bottom about 3 inches in from the entire right edge of every page. I ran the cleaning cycle with no change. Any suggestions on how to correct this?

    I have very similar problem on my 2600n which is printing 2 vertical green lines very close together about 1.5 inches from left edge. All toners are in supply override mode with black toner reading: Estimated Pages Remaining 0
    Color cartridges contain toner with 329 pp remaining according to supply status page.
    Is this problem likely to disappear when toner cartridge(s) are replaced?

  • Aperture 2.0 - Many Pictures now Seeing RED in lighted areas and BLUE

    Here's my problem, I just upgraded to Aperture 2.0 and many of my pictures now have bright lighted areas (like a light) showing up as RED in the viewer. I'm not sure if they will print this way, but I'm a bit concerned. I was able to go into the adjustments area and tweak "Recovery" up a notch to get rid of the red, but I have over 10,000 photos so I don't see this as a very useful solution. I also found areas of BLUE in black areas for photo, again a small adjustment to the black point removed this.
    So I have a couple of questions:
    1. Can someone explain to me these areas of RED and BLUE and why they would occur.
    2. How do I fix this on my Library without distorting my photos.

    You must have activated the "highlight hot and cold areas" function. No, you photos will not print with those highlights, and you can toggle them on and off either through the view menu (the option to turn on highlight hot and cold areas is near the bottom), or simply press option-shift-h.
    This feature is great for recovering highlights and bringing out shadow detail using the recovery and black point sliders in the adjustments pane.

    The simplest thing to try is a reset.
    With Safari running, click on Safari in the menu bar and select Reset Safari ....
    If that does not work, go to Safari / Preferences / Advanced.

  • Light blue "finger" print spot on display

    I have a 20" Cinema display.
    I have noticed a light blue area on the display.
    You can see it if the background is white.
    I noticed if you have a white gradient into red, as you pass this through the affected area, this spot is darker in the transition area.
    These aren't dead pixels but it looks almost like a finger print between the back lighting and the LCD.
    Any idea what this is and if it can be fixed?

    Without a picture it is hard to determine if this is the effect you are experiencing. Check this link and if so you will want to have it serviced before you warranty expires:

    I had this effect on a Dell laptop and they replaced the LCD assembly for me as a result agreeing that it was defective.

  • Unwanted light blue background suddenly printing on everything. Help!

    I have PSE 8 and an Epson Stylus R1900 and Mac 10.6.8 . Until recent when I created a new blank file in PSE, selecting for instance a preset like photo 4 x 6 landscape choosing a white background content and then add my digital images /layers etc and print, if there was any space between images etc, it would be white when printing on photo paper. Now all of a sudden I am getting this light blue or grey background on every print that should be white space with about an 1/8th of inch of white border all the way around. On the print preview it looks white. I haven't changed any settings. I have tried each of the color settings in the Print Settings from Epson Vivid, to Off - no color adjustment etc. Nothing is working. I just don't know enough to figure it out. Any thoughts or assistance would be really appreciated. It is distorting the color of anything I print. On another note...when I print on regular paper, I don't get the background color.

    Tried your suggestions including installing a common updater that was recently added in the drivers area of the printer Web site. Unfortunately, I'm not savvy enough to know which color profile is appropriate for my display, so I didn't mess with that. I was able to restart PSE and delete the settings but still have the same problem. Utterly at a loss. Appreciate your suggestions. If you think of anything else..

  • After shutting down my computer or when we have a power outage and I re-boot, the print is very faint and sketchy and highlights become a very light blue. How do I prevent this?

    I may be in the wrong category. Any time I have to re-boot my computer and then bring up Firefox I find the text difficult to read. It is faint and the print is sketchy. There are no lined spaces for gmail messages, i.e., no tables - just one open page with a list of messages. All boxes, etc., are pale blue instead of black on white. I don't know how to fix this. Eventually, it fixes itself but in the meantime is very irritating.

  • Black color overlapping blues/greens ?

    Hey there. I have problems with colors. There is black overlapping blues/greens as shown on the image. This spiral is done with the same color airbrush style so the more saturated the area is the more black color percent appears. I have installed it 2 weeks ago and it was working well for kinda half that time. Suddenly that problem appeared without any idea why. I have tried reinstalling both graphic drivers and photoshop but doesn't help.

    Good news everyone!  The AMD Catalyst 13.2 beta 4 driver finally fixes the problem, if you want to go for the very latest instead of downgrading. 
    I've been running the Catalyst 13.2 beta 4 driver for a few days now.  It seems pretty stable.
