Black Screen on One Sequence, others Fine

This is a project that I started in CS6, because the latest update kept me from editing or exporting- then updated to 7.0 and 7.1 because they had been stable on my system previously, and for no apparent reason the preview on one of the sequences is black. The audio plays, but no video.
I've updated my graphic card driver, window 7 64bt, and premeire pro CC to all the latest. I'm guilty of missing buttons sometimes, but I did check the track view "eye" button and since it's a nested clip I made sure the multicam was enabled.
Unique to this project
-updating from cs6, then 7.1, and now 7.2.1
-There are 12 sequences to render independently, cut and pasted from the "source" sequence
-they're all nested and multi monitor clips
-I drag and drop "intro" and "outro" video clips to the beginning and end of each sequence
This has been a very efficient way to work for the last couple months...but right now I'm dead in the tracks again.
It's all very frustrating but more importantly I'd just like to get it fixed and producing again....
Any ideas?

Hmm, I reopened the project to check this and now it appears everything is working fine.
I haven't changed anything from when I posted this issue.
Even more confused....though in the end I can continue working, and that was the whole point. Although it wouldn't hurt to know the issue so maybe I can avoid it in the future.

Try searching for the name of one of your videos on the iPad's spotlight search screen - swipe your first homescreen to the right, type in it's name, and if it finds it tap on it to see if it plays.
If that doesn't work then try closing the Videos app via the taskbar : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Videos app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Videos app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option if the two above don't work is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Two black cartridges 7520 one full other empty but not printing black

My black photo is empty (not sure why, don't use photo) the larger one on the right hand side is almost full but it is not printing anything black. colors are fine. I tried playing with the setting but am at a loss.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
This is just one of those things -- you have to have all five cartridges to print with this printer.
The Photo Black is not just for Photos -- this type of black is "jet black" and is used for particular kinds of "black-black" printing needs that are not only present in Photo Images.
Regular black prints gray-black, gray, mixes with other colors and prints some of the blackish fonts.
If I describe it further, I might misrepresent it and no doubt someone will jump on me. I may have already muffed it.
You bought into this concept when you purchased this printer -- maybe not deliberately, but just so. The extra "Photo Black" cartridge is one of the reasons this printer is capable of reproducing truly excellent color photographic Images.

Black screen gnome and kde, openbox fine

I installed the testing xorg a month or so back and it naturally broke my system (i use ati and fglrx). I downgraded the relevant packages and am no longer using the testing rep, but now gdm comes up fine, but logging into gnome or kde4-mod just gives me a black screen with working mouse. Openbox works fine however, i've been using that but would like to see how kde4 has progressed. Any ideas? Couldn't find anything by searching.

I'm sure I had that error before anyway. This black screen is killing me...it teases by showing the loading icons for 10 seconds[kde4] then just black.

Wierd problem: Experiencing problem with Flash Player under only one vista others fine

Help..
all of a sudden my flash player has stopped working under one
of my accounts. it only occurs in IE7...using firefox is ok...
this account is an administrator account, but not the top
administrator account.
With my other Vista accounts flash player works great, even
the standard accounts...
this is totally wierd that it only happens with just this one
account..
any help is appreciated...thanks

First download the uninstaller to your desktop from here
http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157
Before running this uninstaller be sure to read the
instruction and close all running programs.
Open the following folder C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
Run the uninstaller
What files are left in this folder?
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
If there are files left, delete the Flash folder.

Ichat won't connect with one computer; others fine

I was able to video iChat with my parents (new intel iMac, X.5.2) with no problems previously. Now, we cannot video or audio chat. The interesting thing is that I can video chat with others and my parents can video chat with others, just not with each other. We were even able to video chat via a 3-way chat a few days ago that a third party initiated and invited us both in. But if we try to chat with each other, no connection. IMing works, but that is it. I have checked that no users are blocked on both computers. Since both computers have internet access and iChat capability with other computers, I don't think it has to do with firewalls!?! Both computers use WideOpenWest cable as their ISP. Another user that my parents can iChat with is also a WideOpenWest customer. Weird! Any thoughts? Thanks!

First have you all set the Quicktime streaming setting, goto sys prefs/quicktime/streaming/streaming speed, set to 1.5mbps(
In ichats prefs click on video and change bandwidth limit to 500.
Restart iChat.

My camera on my 4S is only showing working in the reverse mode. The front view shows a black screen. I have room in my storage. Any suggestions?

Why would my camera stop showing the subject to be photographed in "front view" ? Getting a black screen. However it works fine in the "reverse mode"

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

HP 8540w Black Screen

I have HP EliteBook 8540w 3 Years Old.... I perchase it 1 year ago with win8.1 64 Bit.. It works fine... then i think i use win 7... so i degrade its bios ..but i did not install the win 7.... is use it for 2 weeks.. than suddenly it give some problem.. like 1. after starting 10 miute its screen goes to Black... and audio is also stoped.2. then i forcely shutdown it ... and then star... Then i formate it and install win8.1 32Bit beacuase i don't have 64bit that time.7. Then i agian flash the BIOS and Firmware and also install some other software... like rapid storage teachonology... BIOS utility.8. Laptop works fine for 1 day.9. Hard disk and Faan is also not running12. so i contact with some help it tells that it have BIOS problem or graphic card problem.. i try some solution.. like 1.unplug all power ( power card and Battery)2. remove ram and Hard disk3. remove BIOS battery.4. Then press Power key for 30 second5. then Assemble it .6. Then press Insert Key and plug in the power card ( without Battery)7. But nothing happened and Black screen and one LED remain same . When i press power key for forcely shutdwn.. it didn't work. But when i release power key it's LEDs lights blink for 3 times.. Please give some solution or tell me what is the problem... Ipod camera black screen when opened and sync prob HELP!!!

hello i just went to open the camera on my ipod touch 4g and it just went black just a black screen when i press the home button it goes straight to the home screen everything else is fine i just open the camera and a black screen appears, it is working fine now but just wondering if it is faulty or somthing.
some times it does not sync i will plug it into the computes usb port and it wont charge i takes about 3 to 6 tries to get it to work any help thanks

Same thing just happened to me, found another solution though.
Plug the USB cable into your PC/base of iPod Touch.
Turn off the iPod completely.
Wait 10 seconds and re-power the iPod.
Now load up the camera; and the screen should be back to normal.
I have similar screen freeze issue with my Sony Erricson K700i Mobile phone, and plugging in the 'power' cable always resolves it, so it would seem to be of the same method used to resolve this iPod issue!!
Strange thing as you've posted, all other apps etc still work. Maybe support will get around to resolving this bug!!

Exporting "Youtube HD" Preset results in no video just black screen

Hello,
I am a new user to Premiere CS5. I made a short video and would like to put it online in HD for youtube and vimeo. I shot the footage using a Canon DSLR t2i in HD at 24fps.
I am trying to export it in order to upload it to youtube and I tried to the preset under H.264 that is called Youtube HD. When it finished I went to watch the video and it was just a black screen but the audio worked fine. The Export video box is checked so it is not that.
I exported using Quicktime Format but the quality was a little worse. I am now trying HDTV format to see how that turns out.
Is there something I can do to make the Youtube HD preset work correctly? I imagine that's the best option for uploading to youtube.

Black screen since new Flash

Hello, I've been having a black screen since
the new flash player came out. I have been trying to view xfire live streams
but am unable to do so due to the black screen. The audio is fine and i can also
view the add they have.

A simpler fix now - but I am still not sure of the cause - might be a faulty hard disk - but this doesn't make sense in that it always seems to be related to Safari - so is there a malfunction with Safari.
This morning - same problem fixed by repairing permissions with the disk utility. then a shutdoen and restart. Log says:

Windows 8 black screen after Dell logo?

My computer was being really slow the past couple of days so i did a system scan with reg cure pro and it told me i had to restart my laptop. After restarting my laptop it showed
the dell logo and then just a black screen. Every time i restart my laptop it does the same logo then black screen. When i click the power button it turns of instantly instead of the usual 3 or so seconds of holding the button. I have looked up this issue
but have not found a fix.I cannot/do not know how to restore windows 8 because ,y laptop came without the installation disk and when i try to access the advanced settings it is still just another black screen with the words "f12 boot
options" in the bottom right corner. I have also seen people talking about 2 different styles of this black screen. One with a black screen but a light border and the second just a black screen. The one mine seems to be is that there is a bright border
along the edges of my laptop screen but black everywhere else. If you have found a fix to this problem or have a temporary solution please post a comment. Thank you.

Issue already solved from Dell inspiron n5110 Series, Follow the step to get your screen at better resolution....
1. Install Windows 8 Pro
2. Use External Monitor to View the Screen of Windows 8 After Installation or Run in Safe Mode To Access Windows 8 at Low Screen Resolution
3. Download the Bios Driver (New one) for your Laptop from Dell.com website,
4. Install the Bios ( Remember to connect the AC and DC )
5. Once Bios Installed and system Restarted you can disconnect the External Monitor if you did attached
6. That is Done, Now you have a Windows 8 in your Dell inspiron

MBA Black Screen - and ALWAYS is black (will not boot into OS)

I've read and done everything. Many are saying they are able to get a restart and change settings - but I can not get pas the black screen at all. I continue to do a hard restart, it goes to black screen. I use the control-option-shift-power, and it powers back to the gray screen, then black again. I do the command-option-p-r and it goes to gray screen then black. I can't get it into the OS to even change the settings.
I even tried the connection to a TV and it also is black. This is a constant cycle to the black screen.
I don't know what version the OS today, but I know I have updated once in the last 30 days, but not in the last 2 weeks (manually, I have not).
Any advice to get to the home OS screen, so I can adjust settings?

I booted into command-r to get to the Time Machine backup from Jan 25th of 2014. I have a screen that I can see, but when I restart (I have not restored from backup), it goes back to black screen. I AM WONDERING now if I should just restore, then work on the settings for the black screen ??

Ipod touch black screen, but plays music

My iPod touch, 4th geneneration, won't turn on. It has a black screen. I've read countless discussions on here. I tried the 30 second pressing down both home and power, recovery mode, plugging ipod into itunes and holding down the buttons. I've tried charging it, but everytime i do, I can hear the ding it does when it starts charging. Music even played once! It's just a black screen though. Any other suggestions?

Chpwnd, it is not the digitizer, that senses touch. The problem is with either the LCD screen, the backlight or thedriving circuits and connections

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.
