Blackberry 10.2 update for AT&T

I am a AT&T customer in the US and own a Q10 and am still waiting for the 10.2 update from what i am reading on crackberry the update from AT&T will never come out, I think this is very sad. I am being told to just update myself from an auto loader from a link, I have never done anything like this and would like to know how to do this and what should i download to my PC. My phone is not unlocked will i still be able to load the update myself?

VZW, what is the specific date verizon is going to release the Blackberry 10.2 update for the Q10 and Z10 phones? The update has been released globally and the other carriers have made public their release dates, so their is no competitive advantage for verizon. What is the specific release date for the Blackberry 10.2 update for Blackberry phones on the verizon network?

Apple has released an update for 2012 Macs that were updated to 10.8.2, but the full 10.8.2 hasn't been released yet and we don't know anything about when it will be launched

Firmware Update for my blackberry 8830 world edition with Bell Canada

Hi does anyone know if there is firmware update for the Blackberry 8830 world edition with the carrier being Bell Canada? I am running version 4.2 and I know there is 4.5 but I am not sure if this applies the my phone with Bell Canada. When I boot up my desktop manager and checks for updates and says that there is no update. I don't want to update if it is not necessary and not be able to run my blackberry. If I am able to update where would I go to get the 4.5 update?

You have to repair Desk Manager or unintall and reintall DM, but this time uncheck "Auto update" and anything that refer to "update" the reason why I mention that is because everythime you run DM, it goes online and check for newer version and put this file "vendor.xml" in the Blackberry Common Folder, and with that file in place, it will block the program from installing the newer version from a difference cell company..
From what I see 4.2 is the only version that is up to date for a 8830...but if you have a 8820, you can update to 4.5.

There are two methods of recovery for you to try:
One:
Open Blackberry Desktop Software & Connect your device with PC using USB cable, without inserting battery.
You will get three option Retry, Update Or Cancel, then click on update.
Once it is to the stage of the update "initializing handheld", then insert battery.
If this does not work, and you remain stuck on the backing up the Social Feeds database, go to the second method below.
Secondly:
Start your BlackBerry in Safe mode. Article ID: KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Modehttp://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB17877
Connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Software and allow your handheld to connect. If you are prompted to upgrade, cancel the upgrade for later.
IF you cannot connect or your Desktop Software does not recognize your device while in Safe Mode, please follow the directions here to force the detect:  Article ID: KB10144 How to force the detection of the BlackBerry smartphone using Application Loader
Go to Device > delete > SELECT DATA > select to delete both the Social Feeds and Smart Card databases, and follow the remaining prompts to complete it.
Now, you can return and click to upgrade the device through the Desktop Manager, or reboot the BlackBerry in normal mode and continue the over the air upgrade.

Where is the update for BlackBerry 10.3????

Where is the update for BlackBerry 10.3??? Everybody has it but Verizon customer's. I'm not getting why we haven't gotten it yet.

They're likely too busy getting top down pressure to make Windows Phone #3 in the marketplace, even though, BB10 is far superior and people that truly use it, know it. Got a feeling, even VZW knows it, on the inside ;-).
Frustrate dedicated BlackBerry users enough, maybe they'll switch and BB will just go away...what they don't get is, won't happen, not here anyway. Heck, can't even find a BlackBerry device within sight in a VZW store around here. Have to first get through reps pushing/dealing crApple (sorry, not an NScrApple addict ;-)), then get through all the iPhone, iPad, etc super displays, then get through all the Droid, then get through all the Windows Phone displays, then you may find a BlackBerry buried in the back corner where no one is, and the reps have no idea how to use/promote the device to its fullest (we had to show them!). They don't even know what a Passort is when asked - yep, definitely up to speed on BlackBerry and in full support. Sad. Funny how BlackBerry rocks outside the US, even rated best OS, hmmm, so, what's the connection VZW? Who's demanding you bury BlackBerry BB10, and why are you obeying them?
If your support is sincere for BlackBerry BB10 and your BB10 customer base, get with the program and get 10.3 released to show that support! Talk of support is cheap, show it.
Maybe if the name were changed to iBerry?.......till then, all BB10 users will get is: "We know software updates are always exciting!", blah, blah, blah...

RIM Blackberry Vietnam are awaiting updates for font Unicode 4.5. Blackberr8.300

I'm living in Vietnam, blackberry 8300 use of our language is Vietnamese, I have a blackberry 8300 not only read newspapers or anything relating to the Vietnamese, is there a way to solve this, hopefully with blackberry blackberry 8300 updates for font Unicode 4.5 support, not the market is now unicode font combinations.

Essentially you hack the PlayBook OS to get additional access to it.

Did you do a back up first? If so you should be able to sync to itunes again and have everything back.

Update for BlackBerry Maps

Please is there an update for BB Maps. I am asking this question because the map installed on my BB Torch 9800 does not even show our International Airport in Livingstone. Zambia. Any update please???

Turns out I don't see anything in Zambia except a few city names. No roads, nothing. Same for many other countries in Africa. I see roads and landmarks for South Africa, Nigeria, and some others, but that's it. If you see roads in Zambia then you are seeing more than me. I'm surprised at that.

I'm not sure of what exactly has been updated, but hopefully, it will run a little smoother for some folks who had problems with it in the past. Where exactly are we finding this application after we upgrade? I clicked upgrade YESTERDAY. Since then I have rebooted my blackberry 3 times, and blackberry app world is no where to be find. I unhide all my icons, it is not in the download folder. If I hit the application central icon it is there, but I cannot access it, it says, "downgrade" under blackberry app world.

And neither has Verizon pushed the Z30 upgrade to 10.2.1.1925... no one here knows when Verizon will do so.
They have not stated when they might.
There are other methods for upgrading to 10.2.1 if you wish to do so manually.
