Blackberry 9300 not connecting via wifi
I have a blackberry curve 9300 and when I turn off the data and connect via wifi, there is no data access at all. However when I was traveling and I had data roaming off, in had internet access. But then I had the data turned on, but data roaming off. The problem is when I turn data off. It doesn't work on wifi alone. Is this normal? Is there a setting I need to change?

As I told to Turn Off your Mobile Network , but on a BlackBerry 6 and 7 if on Manage Connection we Turn On our Mobile Network as well as WiFi then by default our Browser will always choose wifi as prefered connection , User just turn it off to be sure that they are not using there Carrier Data, To use BBM we need an SIM card which has an active BIS connection even to use it over an wifi Network .

Canon SX280 Not Connecting Via WiFi
I have a canon sx280 which should be able to download photos via wifi. I have followed the instructions and connected the camera to the WiFi (this all works) but I can't see my mac to create the wireless link via my hub. I can see the mac on the hub but the mac does not appear as a device on the camera to create the link. The camera says that it can not see any devices, while I know there are several devices all connected and working.

iPhone 4 has stopped connecting to Internet on wifi and 3G . Resetting network settings did not fix problem Help please

I'm able to connect via wifi but not via ethernet
I have a iMac, Mac OS X v10.7.5, and recently had a problem connecting to internet. I can connect via wifi, but when I try connecting via ethernet it's not working. When I go to the preferences > network, it shows "green" / connected for ethernet but when I open up Safari or Firefox, it doesn't show a connection to the internet.

System Preferences>Network, top of window>Locations>Edit Locations, little plus icon, give it a name.

System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
If using Wifi/Airport...
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...

Just bought new iPod touch. When I connect to computer to sync it tells me "iTunes could not connect to this iPod touch. Could not send a message to device." Not sure if it is b/c of an older version of iTunes but connecting via wifi sync unacceptable
What version of iTunes is on the computer? You need at least 11.4.

If you've gone through the article that Allen provided, have gotten through to the step where you reset your printing system, and the issue persists, then the next step in the article is for you to contact the printer manufacturer for further assistance.
If you're unable to print
Check these things if you are unable to print, or if you see the message "No AirPrint Printers Found."
Make sure your printer has paper, and enough ink or toner installed.
Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS device.

I recently purchased a Roku which I connected via WiFi. I was unhappy with it so disconnected everything. Since that time my iPad 1 will not connect to internet although in "settings" it indicated that it is connected. I turned off the WiFi for 30 seconds as was suggested but still the iPad won't conect. Anybody have suggestions as to what might provide a "fix"?
I wonder if the roku changed some other settings in your router or pad.
Recycle the router. Thurn it off for a while, then restart.
On the pad, forget your exiting network. This will cause it to search for avaialbe, and reset again. You will likely need to redo any password/ security entry.
Lastly, in settings, general, reset network connections. You will not lose anything. -
Can I share my internet connection via wifi AND use my wireless printer at the same time?
Not completely familiar with wifi capabilities. I have this new setup in my office. I want to share my iMac internet connection via wifi so I can text and check emails using my iPhone (no cell service inside the building). Which works fine. However, I now cannot print wirelessly to my HP printer (LaserJet Pro 400 color). Once Internet sharing is off, I can print just fine. Any other wireless options, or just go get a long USB cable?

It is not a multitasking printer, other devices may keep it therefore the best option in this case: connect it to your wireless router and all devices which are conntected to this router can sahre the printer.

im using an AirPort Extreme Basestation firmware 7.2.1 (Gigabit Ethernet) purchased August 2007
Issue is Iam using an imac & a PC computer to connect via WiFi.
My imac has xp on a bootcamp partition. and the pc is running the same exactt version aswell. all the setting are similar so i tried changing htem all, disabling firewalls/antivirus/removing any unneeded processes
alrightso I goto Start > Programs > AirPort > AirPort Utility
it wont even recognize the basestation, it shows the wireless connection available in my wireless network connection (labled NewtonNetwork) and has a star that says automatic and it shows its being full barred and high signal strength. so what gives?
ive rebooted, restarted and power cycled everything, i can get access to wifi PERFECTLY FINE in OS X 10.4.9, 10.4.10 & 10.4.11 on all m ymachine. i can use the XP partition and the XP computer with ethernet but why not wifi??
it was working flawlessy before!! i use XP to play games on my network, theyre just too far away to connect with ethernet, and besides it was easier to manage. any idea what i need to do to get this shting to run right?ive disable and renabled everything short of doing a complete flash of the basestation which i dont know what the issue is, ihope its not my Wifi Card!

I have an Appl,e AirPort Extreme Base Station (Simultaneous Dual_Band( MC340LL/A. After updating the software, no devices can connect via wifi.
As suggested in another discussion area, (AirPort), I reset the AEBS to factory defaults. On the TV, I went to >Settings>General>Network>Configure Wireless>Wireless Networks. I could then see the generic "Apple Network xxxxx" on the TV. From my MacBookPro, I verified that I could connect to the TV by launching iTunes and noting that the TV was now visible in the "Devices" menu. Went back to the AEBS and ran through the "Setup" routine. I did NOT use the "Previous Settings" but instead, saved the old settings profile, created a new wireless network and new settings profile and enabled WPA2 Personal encryption. I then went back to the TV and went through the "Settings" routine again (as noted above). This time, after entering my WPA2 password, the TV connected to the network and problem was solved. Thanks.

How can i read books purchased from i books when not connected to wifi . At the moment can only access via app store , which can only do when connected . I want top download to the device , not keep in a cloud!
If you download them via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app on your iPad then they should show in the Books collection on the app's bookshelf - and you should be able to read any books that you download from the store to your bookshelf without needing to be online.

When i wake up my iMac from sleep my wifi is disconnected. It also disconnects my iPad, my wives iPad, my iPhone & Sky On Demand which is connected via wifi. To reconnect all devices i have to switch off & then on again wifi on the iMac. Can anyone help?
Had the same issue and finally solved it. After the upgrade to Mavericks our 2 new Macbook Airs stopped connecting automatically to Wifi while the older machines the kids had still worked fine.
Bought a new airport extreme and problem solved. Our Airport Extreme was about 5 years old and was probably not compatible with the new OSX.
BTW this was after trying everything people suggested on this forum and a 4 hour marathon tech support call with Apple where we reinstalled the OSX.
***** to need to spend $200 but glad the problem got solved.
New extreme is also mega fast so its all good.
