Blackberry 9790 STUCK at connected to Boot ROM -- tried all solutions

Desperated!
Blackberry 9790 shows connected to boot rom error and always restarts if clicked retry when upgrading with official new OS, then wiped with javaloader.exe, displaying 507 error, problem persists.
Device can always be deteced when connected to DM/Loader/Device Manager, when tried to continue to load OS using DM/Loader, an error pops the same way as before.
Tried with all suggestion/solutions can be found on forums(including this one) and still no luck. anyone can shed some lights here again?

  • Reload Software 507 - stuck at connecting to boot rom

    1. My Curve 8900 (Orange Unlocked) had an app error 523 and didnt load, so I wiped it with BBSAK.
    2. After that, my phone starts and shows a white screen with an image and below the error message "Reload Software:507" and stays like that.
    3. I have followed every blog and have followed every step, but the OS is not loading on the device and it gets stuck at connecting to boot rom.
    4. When I open the Loader, my PIN number shows without any problem, so I click "next". When I've selected the apps I want to be installed and click "finish", my phone will reboot twice when the PC shows "Connecting to boot ROM" geting a "fatal error message has ocurred [A0x00000001]" on the loader.
I've been stuck at this process for too long and decided to post here for help.
Is there any solution for my device.
    Thanks!

    Hi vatsal
Welcome to BlackBerry Support Community Forums
You can try JI Cmder to wipe again and then try to load the OS ,But remember you had to click the Next  button on the screen as soon it shows USB PIN : UNKNOWN or else you had to try again :
What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe
If that fails then as a last resort you can try this :
KB27956 :  How to recover a BlackBerry smartphone from any state
Please try it and let us know.

    Thank You
    Apperciate.

Are you able to upgrade via wi-fi? Have you done a patch upgrade before using the same Desktop Software/USB cable/PC? I have never seem this error so I'm trying to pinpoint were exactly the problem could be. I'm suspecting you might have had problems on your previous upgrade or you installed a corrupt application? I'll keep in touch.
Thank you for the question (I hope you have backed up all of your important information)

  • TS1398 I tried all solution but still i am unable to connect to my wifi. It started yesterday when my ipad cant connect to wifi.

I tried all solution but still i am unable to connect to my wifi. It started yesterday when my ipad cant connect to wifi.

It's hard to provide help when your question starts out with, "I tried all solutions" however here is some troubleshooting advice.
If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPad. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
First, test your iPad on some other WiFi networks: a friends, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
If it works well there then the problem is probably with your network. Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
If your iPad does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. You could try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to see if that corrects the problem. If not, contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPad is bad.
If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

  • Curve 9300 connecting to boot rom problem

Hi everyone, I have a curve 9300 and I tried to install an update to the OS. The problem is when i get to the part that says "connecting to the boot rom" the phone starts rebooting and goes like this 3 or 4 times, resulting on a failed update. I already have tried to use another USB port, another computer, connect the blackberry to the pc with the battery pulled, tried another usb cord, all of which failed. Can anyone help me solving this?

Hello Edi27 and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue installing your device software.
Did this error come up after the update installed or during the update?
Does the device display any error on the screen or just the BlackBerry start up logo?
Have you tried to reboot your device in Safe Mode as shown in KB17877?
    Thanks!

  • IPhone 5s stuck on "connect to iTunes" after trying to update to iOS8

When I was connecting my iPhone 5s to my computer to update it to iOS 8 it started working perfectly fine but then it said looking for iPhone and then it wouldn't find it and it told me error and now my iPhone is stuck on connect to iTunes even though it's already connected. What can I do? Please help.

Try this article: Resolve iOS update and restore errors in iTunes

  • Second (brand new) iPhone 4 stuck on "connect to iTunes" while trying to update.

My iphone 4 was stuck on the "Connect to iTunes" screen, and NOTHING I did fixed it. I took it to the Apple store, got a brand new iPhone 4, and it bricked again while trying to update to iOS7. Same thing... stuck on "Connect to iTunes". I'm connecting to a PC.
    What else can I try??

The iTunes version is 11.1.2.32, and there are no error messages. I'm trying to restore from backup eventually. But for now I can't even restore to factory settings. I've tried DFU mode, and that does not work, or at least I'm can't even be certain it's going into DFU mode.
Windows gives and audible noise to signify that a USB device is connected, so I know that somewhere beneath the surface Windows knows it is connected, but iTunes doesn't react at all, and the Windows file explorer, and even the drive manager in adminstrative tools, don't even show a volume connected.

  • TS1398 I have never had a problem with Apple. After the 7.02 update, my Wifi grayed out and would not turn on. Now my Wifi turns on but it will not connect. I even typed in the name and it still won't connect.  I have tried all of apple's solutions.

I have tried all the solutions apple has offered online. I will not reset my phone to factory settings unless it is a last resort. What is Apple doing to fix this? I had my last Iphone last for more than 2 years and I hve had this one less than a year. My Wifi was greyed out and now it's on but won't connect or locate any networks (but if I keep switching it on and off it will freeze on me again). Does Apple have plans to fix this problem because I refuse to purchase a new phone?
Are there any other new solutions to try in fixing the Wifi that doesn't require freezing or heating up the phone or switching to airplane mode and resetting the network settings as well making sure it's up todate or changing the apostrophe in the phone's name? My phone has never been dropped or damaged. Everyone around the world seems to be having this problem and Apple does not seem to be making a move to fix it? I use this phone for everything and 4g will only last so long before I reach my monthly limit. Please help!!!!!!!!!

that makes no sense... it was only doing an update... if that's the case it should have promted me to back up first if this is even possible... there is a program that says it can recovery anything that hasn't been written over yet.. so would this not work? http://www.iphone-data-recovery.com/iphone-data-recovery.html   or would the apple store be able to recover it??? i've done plenty of data recovery on computers... why wouldn't it be possible on an Iphone... does apple seriously not care about thier customers at all??? how about thier employees that are gonna get more than an earful tomorrow when I walk in there store??? No wonder samsung paid 2 million to apple in pennies when they got sued... (how does it feel to be screwed with apple?!)

  • Firefox can't connect to the internet even after trying all solutions from firefox support.

Since Firefox added a pluging or update, every time I open Firefox, it gives me an error message that says unable to connect. I have tried everything in the Firefox support page and, the problem has not been solved. I am currently using IE and, it's working fine.

You didn't specifically mention what you have tried or which support articles you have read. The largest problem after a Firefox program update is a Firewall blocking the updated Firefox executable. <br />
See the instructions for the Firewall in use on your PC. <br />

  • Connecting to boot rom

Hello, I tried to upgrade my device 8830 blackberry CDMA phone. From first it seems every thing is working smooth for 20-30 minutes but after that it is doing the process "Connecting to ROM" but it is not going ahead of it. It seems it is hanging there. What could be wrong in this ? Why it's process is not going forward.

    Hi,
    That is supposed to happen.
The devcie is rebooted and then the PC waits for the device to restat and will then take the new OS from the PC.
But you can check a few things: - ensure that power management does NOT turn off the USB port power when their is no traffic!
Device Manager - Universal Serial Bus Controllers - USB Root Hub (#1 thru to the last one)
Properties - Power Management - UNcheck all.
Do that to all the USB root hubs and try again.

  • BlackBerry PlayBook Stuck On Connect to WiFi Screen

I have a BlackBerry PlayBook 16GB WiFi and it isn't detecting a WiFi network. The only thing it says on the screen is manually connect to network and WiFi Protected Setup which I have already tried and still doesn't work. In addition, my wireless network doesn't show on the select a network section its all blank. I've tried the debrick method and it still doesn't work. PLEASE HELP.

Connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes
    iTunes: Restoring iOS software
    Then restore from backup
    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • My firefox won't work; It says "unable to connect" and I have tried all of the tips for troubleshooting and it still wont' work.

Firefox opens up with an "unable to connect" message; it also says it cannot establish a connection to the server with these three bullets: 1) The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
    2) If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
    3) If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I have tried to do all of the tips that you have on your website for troubleshooting and nothing seems to work. I know it is not my Internet connection because my roommates can get on Firefox without a problem and my Internet Explorer opens just fine.

If your iPad is defective and is still under warranty, you can take it to an Apple Authorized Repair Center and get it fixed.  If you are worried about a defective replacement, then a repair may be a better way to go.  <Apple Authorized Repair Centers>
Personally, I would prefer getting a replacement.  You read about many defects here in this forum, but they only represent a tiny percentage of all iPads sold.
