Blackberry App world problem ?? please help me !!!

Well , I've blackberry curve 9320 & when open app world it tells me to upgrade it ...... So I did what it wants . I clicked on upgrade & then it opened me the browser & then clicked on upgrade app world today ..... " Communication failure has occurred . The server may be busy . Try again later " ... This annoying message appears to me for 3 weeks trying to upgrade ... I did everything possible but it doesn't work .. I restarted the mobile for many times & I deleted a lot of applications such as facebook & twitter . I asked my sister who have the same mobile & the app world was upgraded easily on her mobile & finally I checked my network & contacted my service provider .... What can do more than that ????????

Is your Blackberry smartphone connected to a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) ?
Can you browse other websites?
Can you use other BlackBerry services such as BBM, Email, Social media applications?

  • Facebook and Blackberry APP World problems

    I recently updated BBM and after that Facebook and Blackberry APPs not working. Have upgraded the system software, but still no luck.
    Have tried to go to www.blackberry.com/ to download the new version of Blackberry app world, not luck, getting error "A communication failure has occurred. The server may be busy, please try again later. If the problem persists contact your service provider."
    when trying to access Blackberry app world, giving error "A Blackberry Identity update is needed. " and when I click yes, I am getting this "Blackberry Identity installation failed. Please try again later.(80003)

    Try connecting to App world after connecting your device to WiFi.
    Or else,
    There is an alternative for your problem to resolve.
    What you do is connect your BlackBerry Smartphone with USB cable to Internet enabled desktop/laptop.
    Go to the link mentioned below:
    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/
    On top right  of the page there is a option "Sign In".
    Login with your BlackBerry ID and password.
    From here you can download all as you do it for Appworld.
    Hope this resolves your Problem!

  • Apps, including blackberry app GONE! Please Help!

    I downloaded an update for my playbook, when i rebooted...all apps were gone. Even my blackberry world app.  How do i get them back? I cant find a download link to get the blackberry world app.  I tried going to my blackberry account and reinstalling my apps, but they still don't appear on my homescreen.
    What's wrong? How do I fix it?
    I'm not a tech junkie...just a layperson, so please...I need someone to hold my hand and help me fix this...

  • Blackberry 8520 map problem PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

    My blackberry map was deleted during the updating the version.I can not download the software with blackberry desktop software,it gives me error..I am in Belarus now,How can I download  BB MAP with desktop software? or is there any other way to download it ?

    I don't recall a "download' screen in the Desktop Software.
    It should allow you to INSTALL, if you have the operating system file itself already installed to your PC.

    Also, have you tried using the BlackBerry AppWorld to download BlackBerry Maps?

  • HUGE App store problem, please help!!

    I had an iphone 3g for a few months about a year ago. During that period, i purchased quite a lot of apps and games from the app store. Last year i sold it, and today i just got a 3GS.
    My problem is, although i HAVE authorised the computer and signed in, i can't find my downloaded application. I remembered some of them, but apparently i can't download them but only buy them (AGAIN).
    Can anyone help me with this problem? How do i get my already payed for apps back? I AM using the same account.

    As long as you are using the same iTunes account, you can download the apps again for free. This explains how to do that: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
    You can use the iTunes > Store > View My Account to go to your account's purchase history to see what you bought.

  • Can't access blackberry app world- please help

    Hi Blackberry users, 
    I've just received my blackberry bold 9900 on ebay. Everything seems to be working fine.
    However, I can't seem to open the app world?
    I haven't put a simcard in yet, however, I am using my home Wi-Fi connection. 
    When I try to enter it, it says: 'You do not have sufficient wireless coverage or your connection to the wireless network is turned off'
    Can you please tell me how I can solve this? My internet connection is perfectly fine. I can use youtube and web browser on my blackberry as well. I also tried to access blackberry app world in my browser but when I came to downloading the app from the web browser, it asked me to turn on cookies, which I checked was already on.

    You have to have a BlackBerry data plan attached to your account in order to access this.  You'll have to give your carrier a ring so you can get it setup.

  • Blackberry app world not working. Please help me.

    Okay, basically I'm having this major problem. I have a blackberry torch 9800. I've just had my phone replaced as I dropped it into a puddle.. So i'm happy I got a replacement phone, the only problem I'm having is downloading one app in particular. It's 'Barclays PingIt' i had it on my app world before I dropped my last one into a puddle, but now its almost as if blackberry app world doesn't want to let me download it again? It's fine with every other app just this one. It won't even open to let me download it. It is shown under my uninstalled list in my app world but it just won't let me open it to reinstall or download that one app.
    Any suggestions on what to do as this is really getting on my **bleep**.

    The place where you can find the reinstall or delete button is blank? Please check you application management if it is already there, if not, please email the app vendor support for them to to send you an OTA downlink link of its no longer available in App World.

  • Can no longer login to Blackberry App World or get a password reset, please help!

    I cannot login to My Blackberry App World on https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/login/
    I have entered my email and password but it is rejected.
    When I ask for a password reset I am prompted to answer a security question. The security question I am given is one I have never set, so I do not know what the answer is meant to be!
    Consequently I cannot get a password reset so am unable to access My Blackberry App World, either on my phone or on a pc.
    What has happened to my account and why can I no longer log in..?

    Apparently, there was something corrupt in my Profile. I backed up my default profile, created a new one and copied over the critical folders and files - the addons; backedup bookmarks, places.sqlite; password info in key3.db and signons.sqlite.
    Issue resolved.

    If you can't remember your security questions go to  Express Lane.
    select iTunes from the list, then iTunes store.        On the next screen select account Management.          There, select iTunes store account security and write that you would like to reset your security questions and / or answers.
    You should get an eMail reply over the next 24 hours.

    I'm new around here and I registered solely and exclusively to help me I'm desperate! well I tell you my problem, I have a 9300 with virgin mobile plan but they only work with Opera Mini, well last week I desactualizo the whatsapp and try updating but the "App World" says that he also has to be updated. Obvious is the comment "And because it was downloaded over WiFi" ok my phone does not have wifi is damaged.
    So I need a solution that implies that it can be downloaded via USB is installed from the pc.
    Sorry if it is not understood but google translator is a severe **bleep**

    Oh and I forgot when I try to download to install the Web Plug-In fails me and not let me install it

    I had a new phone yesterday to replace a broken one. I have been uinable to download any apps properly, even Blackberry Protect and Blackberry App world failed and 'What's App' verification codes simply won't send. I had all this on my previous phone so can anyone help?

    Can you elaborate on the issue you are experiencing on your BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520 smartphone when trying to download applications?
    If you are getting any error messages, please provide those errors.
    Does your device have EDGE or edge? You need EDGE in capital letters to indicate your data plan has been transferred over to this device.

  • HELP: Blackberry App World

    Hi all,
    I traded in my Nokia to get a blackberry to see what all the fuss was about and after one week i must say im rather dissapointed as its just not as easy to use, anyway lets not dwell on that topic...
    As you've gathered, im new to the blackberry so bare with me if this has already been dealt with. The trouble im having is with the BlackBerry App world. I just downloaded it onto my phone via a USB cable from my laptop. Once it was downloaded the phone rebooted, thinking everything went well i then started the application up (BlackBerry App World) as soon as iv opened it the message "BlackBerry App World is having trouble connecting to the BlackBerry App World Server. Verify your network connections and try again" appears everytime i try and open it. Is there something i havent done yet or something im supposed to do with connection settings? As far as my connections go...im able to use the internet browser on it so dont see why im having troubles.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated so that i may fully benefit from my BlackBerry.

    Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
    You must, in order to use App World, and many more BlackBerry data features.
    So, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.
    As far as being diffcult to use, there is a steeper learning curve with a BlackBerry... You would benefit well from reading and practicing the 9700 tips from my buddy Mr. Stinsonddog (very similar to the 8520).
    Look at this link for them, download and print out the PDF file and practice the tips while using your device. You'll be amazed at all the cool things your BlackBerry can do.
