Blackberry application testing

Hi,
I wanted to test one application on a blackberry, details below :
This is a Business Intelligence mobile application and the services need to be installed on a Blackberry Enterprise Server.
The Blackberry device will communicate with the blackberry server.
Business Intelligence Server ----> Blackberry Server -----> Blackberry Mobile Device.
Now my question here is how do I do this testing without a mobile device. I can download the Blackberry Emulator but what about the Enterprise server ?
Please help me in this as I need to start with this very urgently.

Sorry, but "can't log" doesn't really tell us what happens. Please describe completely what happens when you attempt to log in via your BB, including the complete content of any error messages that are presented.

Blackberry 9300 Captcha test fails?

So I have a blackberry 9300 OS6 which works fine except when it comes to those captcha tests.
I few months ago my phone went in for repairs (**bleep** trackpad) and came back reseted to default factory resettings, but it seems to have effected my phone's ability to do captcha tests?
Everytime I do one it fails and some websites even say I should enable my browser's cookies (something that is already enabled). I never had any problems with captcha tests before the repairs so what could be the problem?

Ps: I tried enabling and disabling cookies,clearing cookies,cache etc

Please keep in mind that there are some Captcha tests that require a full browser. You may also check your browser options on Default Text Encoding as it depends how the website detects the browser you are using.

Blackberry Passport drop test

As you know there is a few videos of Blackberry Passport extrreme drop tests on youtube. Where the phone didn't get any damage.

So the question is: is it OK to drop the Blackberry Passport face down to show it's durrability to your friends, and the phone always be just fine?
Or this drop test videos is just a good luck and not a mandatory future of the phone?
Is the any experience, tests or suggestions?
I'm kinda scary to try it...

Obiviously the more hight, the more probability of damage. But it would be intersting to know what maximum hight is safe for 99% of Blackberry Passports to drop face down.
P.S. As I found on other forums, some have damaged the glass when droped on the corner, not on the face...
Corner drops of many phones will break the screen.
I would not consider any drop safe as it could bounce and land on a corner after.
But this does have Gorilla Glass and is tougher than regular glass.

Can't Download Blackberry Application Monitor

Can't download Blackberry Application Monitor to my 9650? It shows to be compatiable with the 9650 but when trying to download, it states that it is not available for the 9650. I'm confused.
Does anyone know what the deal is?

If it does meet requirements, are you able to complete the install by saving the download files to your Desktop and then running the installation from there?

I forget my password then I change it but I can't log with my blackberry id and new password from my mobile 9900 bold it log in only from blackberry site only don't know why ....... So show can I log in from my mobile and what's the problem now

Blackberry Application Center missing

I recently upgraded my Tour to OS 5 on Sprint and when the upgrade completed the App center invoked automatically and asked me to install updates for some apps, as this was happening I hot the back button by mistake and it asked me if I wanted to place a shortcut so that I can complete the update later, foolishly I hit the back button again and the app center closed without placing a shortcut.
Now I see the app center installed in my applications list, but have no means to invoke it. I even tried uninstall/re-install using delstop manager but it didn't work.
Any help would be appreciated.

The Application should install from your operating system installation.
1. On your homescreen, press the Menu key > SHOW ALL, so that SHOW ALL is checked.
2. Look in EACH folder on your device... Applications, Instant Messengers, Downloads, etc.
If you still don't see it, look at Options > Advanced > Applications. Do you see it listed there?

BlackBerry Application Internet Problems

My Wi-Fi works perfect for the "browser". But, when I try to connect to applications like golf, garmin, or nutsie it says that a network connection is not detected. Is there something I need to do to enable applications to accept my current Wi-Fi address? Thanks

Downloading blackberry application resource monitor

I can't download blackberry application resource monitor on my bold 9900. Yet I can on my other bold 9900

Blackberry Applications Update

I had a notification that there was an update for the BB Apps on my phone. I downloaded the update, and rebooted my phone, now the BB Apps icon is missing on my phone; and if I go to my normal Applications folder, BB Apps is in there, but it keeps wanting me to download it. I need to know how to get the icon back on my phone and be able access BB Apps again. Any suggesgtions?

I am having the exact same problem and sprint wants me to hard reset my phone to get the icon back, I think that is totally ridiculous. This is a glitch that must have an easier solution.

I want to automate blackberry phones to test the application. So any tool is available (free) to test applications or give some idea's.

Web dynpro Java on Blackberry

Hi all,
I'm developing a WD app on blackberry but I got stuck in binding data from a context node to my table. My problem is the table rows do not display correct data on each row. I do create different context data elements and add to the correct node but the table shows the same data in all rows and it's always the first data element (it's strange because they must be different!!!!).
Is it the bug of WML browser on Blackberry? I tested with BB 9500 and 8900 simulators and got the same error.
With other clients (HTML, Pie and Nokia S80), I don't get this issue.
Does anyone encounter the same issue? I'm looking forward to seeing any reply.

Thanks for your quick reply. I saw that the cardinality property of context node is 0..n exactly.
I found that when I browsed my app on a wml browser or device browser (Nokia, blackberry, windows mobile) with the parameter "sap-wd-client=WmlClient", the error appears. With other value (NokiaS80Client, PieClient), the app works fine on any browser. I guess that this issue is not caused by the device browsers but from web dynpro server.
I'm still waiting for other replies.

Hi, im new to this forum kind of thing so give me some time lol
I recently sent my phone into repair (Blackberry Curve 8250) as it was completely ruined. I took my SD card out as i have soo many photo's, video's and song's on there and didnt want to lose it. But ever since my phone has come back ferom repair, it picks up that i have inserted the SD but once it has read it nothing is saved on there anymore?
I have tried formatting it, setting up the SD card onto the phone, more a less everything. But the funny thing is when i put the SD card in to my brothers Blackberry, everything is on the card!
Would really appreicate any help that is given and thanks for anything posted by you guys!

Have you been able to test another media card in your BlackBerry as a test? If you have the same issue with another media card in your device, try backing up your device via the BlackBerry Desktop Software and performing a clean reload of your device software. http://bbry.lv/bpv7DT
Make sure to test the media card before restoring any data from your backup file.

BB Virtual Expert test result failed in Display it show Cracked

Dear All,
3 Months back i had purchased BBZ30. and today i had downloaded virtual expert software to run the health test. All features are working fine but display test failed. It is showing cracked. However my cell phone is working fine and even display is also fine. but due to this result i am really tensed. Please help what should i do..

Blackberry rear camera shows rainbow.

My Z10's rear camera does not work. It only shows horizontal colourful lines. When I take a picture it shows rainbow lines as well. Please help! Is there anyway to fix it?

You can either download the BlackBerry Virtual Expert from BlackBerry World or go into Help and select Testing, which will allow you to use BlackBerry Virtual Expert without downloading it. In the BlackBerry Virtual Expert (BBVE) you can test each feature in your BlackBerry Z10. Test the front & rear cameras, if one or both are at fault. You could try a software update or reload to see if that helps if it does, then I suggest you contact your point of purchase as they are responsible for repairs and replacements.
