BLACKBERRY BBM STATUS UPDATE ISSUE

Hi, so I do have over 100 contacts and my status does not get updated. This is a huge issue for me. I do have the latest bbm. Anyone have the answer for me? Thank you.

No solution... the BBM status updates servers can be slow.

BBM status update is extra sensitive....

I have been facing problem with BBM status update and display name screens.
They are extar sensitive and change immediately before you actually decide to press enter.
Any solutions?

Hi All,
I hope this is in the right place and hasn't been posted before. I was just wondering if it was possible to prevent certain contacts from being able to see your updates?

No, there is no way to do that... I guess you could just erase your BBM status.

ISE 1.3 Node AD Status updating issue

Hello,
since awhile i have the Problem with the 1st ISE node that it´s on updating.. status. (see attachment)
Between the update from 1.2 to 1.3 this issue was not seen by the System check, it occurs later.
Now i have try to leave and/or rejoin the node but dosn´t help. Also an reboot of the not have no effect.
The logs on the node and in the Microsoft AD dosn´t show anything with an issue. We see in MS AD log that this node comes with the correct credentials who i have tried the leave or join process.
Have anyone an idea to solve this Problem!?

Hi Drew,
long time ago I have post my problem, so we have now fixed it with with TAC but we have some other issues by replacing the EAP certificates fixed also.
So, we hit some BUGs that are also present in ISE 1.3 Patch 2 and would be fixed next ISE version.
By trouble shooting I have seen that when I disable the PSN service on that node which have the connecting issue, the AD connection now is OK on both nodes.
But this was not a solution for this, the realy one was on my site the FQDN entry for the sponsor portal that was pointed to this node. This field is not a requiered field and when we delete the entry the AD connectioin goes to green!
I hope you have fixied your problem also to this time.

Leave request workitem in UWL status update issue

Hello,
Once manager receives a workitem in their UWL for leave request, the status is NEW.
Now when manager click on that workitem..opens it and closes it without taking any action.
The status must change to "IN PROGRESS".
This does not happen.
Status remain as NEW.
We do not have any issue once Leave is approved or rejected. Workitem gets disappeared appropriately.
Please help me in resolving this issue.

We are on EHP4.
And it uses Java based applications.
Now can you please check in you machine the very same scenario.
Instead of looking at the senders UWL, have a look at the managers UWL.
Where status is displayed as "New".
Open the workitem and close it withpout taking any action.
Then manually refresh your UWL and observe the status. Is it "New" or "In progress".
However we have just recieved a reply from SAP that it is a standard behaviour. And status would remain as New if no action is taken.
But still I am not convinced. As if you open that workitem from Backend Inbox. The status in UWL in portal changes to "In Progress" !

DChain-spec. status updation issue

Hi there
when i create material with sufficient views..the material gets status active in sales and purchasing view..(we got some work flow to approve for it..b4 both shud be inactive i mean 10 in sales view and G5 in purchasing view..once approved both are getting status active..so working fine)..
In case of extending material thru MM01 (no need for approve for it..so Work flow is not configured for it!)..am not getting status as active in both sales and purchasing views..even i give it as active...it is saving as inactive...
What am doing is just extending sales view with different salesorg and distribution channel and purchasing view with different plant..
My q: when we are extending the material for sales and purchasing view..need we also extend other views to get the material status ACTIVE.
pls respond urgently

when you are extending to different Organization levels, you have extend the Accounting view also.Since valaution of materials carried out valuation area level.In general , plant will be defined as the valaution area. There is no need to extend other views Basic data1,2 & classification data.Please extend the Acconting view and check.

BBM 5 status update failed when over 100 contacts

I have found BBM 5.0.0.33 and BBM 5.0.0.55 will not update your status if you have over than 100 contacts.
This has been tested a verified by many blackberry messenger users, with different phones, and different versions of the OS.
There is no solution and almost everything has been tried, from re-installing the OS, to re-adding contacts individually etc..
The only thing to do is to delete your contacts so as the total is below or equal to 100.
I am shocked and surprised that RIM has not acknowledged this problem, nor have they fixed this in the 0.55 release.
It seems to be a trivial problem, with a magic number of 100 contacts.
If RIM is trying to prevent the servers from overloading with status update info, at least increase the limit to 200 contacts, as most people will have less than 200 contacts, but a lot have over 100.
The magic number should be 200

Are you still seeing this issue with the new .57 version of BBM?

BBM Update + Automatic Status Update??

Dear Blackberry,
The fact that you automatically sent out an automatic status update when I upgraded to the most recent version of BBM is *infuriating*. If I want to notify people that BBM is available for Android and iPhone, I'll tell them myself.

Sorry to hear you're having issue with your BBM.
What is the software version to which you updated?
If you remove your battery then reinsert it, are you then able to change your status? Do you get any error when you go to change your status or does it just freeze?

Z10 automatic status update on BBM from FB

Hi
With my BB Torch, when I updated my Facebook status or checked in somewhere, I had the option to update my BBM status as well.
This functionality does not work with my Z10.
How do I get this to work?

Yes, yes, yes... I've gone through all the common sense trouble shoots. Would't be here asking questions if that answers existed on the net. Sorry if I sound a bit edgey, but I've had nothing but issues with every update since IOS 7. Clearly there's nothing that can be done about this. and this is the final nail in the coffin to try to make me buy an Iphone 5.

Bbm doesnt update display picture

Its been a month now, and i cannot update my bbm dp in my z10.
The display picture changes in my mobile but my friends cannot see any update. and now its stuck.
The status update is ok. i can change, my friends can see it.
i tried everything remove battery, restart, bla bla. But no difference.
Is there a way to reinstall bbm in z10?

This has been an issue I've seen from others in the India and Pacific area. I'm betting there is some server issues.

Bbm recent update box disappear

Hi,
From last 2 days my BBM recent update box is disappear. I am unable to check the recent updated photos or status of any one in my list. I am using blackberry 8520.
Kindly help me on this .I would be very thankful to you.

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

BB Z10 BBM Group updates and notifications not showing up in Hub?

BBM Group updates and notifications not showing up in Hub? The notifications are turned ON in Group settings. And all BBM notifications are enable in the Hub, still nothing shows up. Picture comments, addition, status updates simply dont show up. My device is on 10.0.10.58.
Any workaround?

How would i be able to delete my status updates on skype so that my parents wont see them when they have me log into my skype account?

Ok, I understand.
Open your BBM app.
Swipe down from the top edge to Settings.
Scroll down towards the bottom and tap on Blocked Contacts and Updates.
Tap the Updates tab at the top.
On the contact whose updates you have hidden, tap and hold on that contact, and tap the trash can icon (to remove the hidden status, this will not delete the contact)
This will remove the contact from the Hide Status updates.
