Blackberry Blend on Ipad iOS 8 bad referrer

I downloaded and intalled blackberry blend, on my ipad 3,  a few times and everytime when i connect to my black berry it just shows a screen that dosnt show my data just some titles or it shows a screen that says "bad referrer"
Can someone please help i need to get this working.
I am using the ipad app on iOS 8.
I am using the new Blackberry Classic.

I fought this too, and eventually realized that it's the Xfinity router, not your Apple device.  Some setting has been changed  by Comcast that is not factory, and your Apple device Hates it.
First, unplug your personal router.  Second step is to use a ball point pen to push and HOLD the reset button on the back of the still powered on Xfinity  router for a good and slow count of 30 seconds, longer if you don't get bored.  This does a full factory reset.  Now, leave the Xfinity router alone for 5 minutes, like go and get something to eat.  Longer the better.  After you come back, plug your personal router back in.  My iPad and iPhone hooked right back up to my personal router.
Before this fix, I had to unplug my router over and over every few hours to get it to work at all.  After the fix its been working for weeks now.  Hope this helps!

  • Blackberry Blend works on PC and MAC, but not iPad or Galaxy Note 10.1

    Hi
I just cannot get Blackberry Blend to work on my iPad or Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
Blend is connecting find via my Win 7 laptop and also my iMac. Both they and the ipad and galaxy Note are on the same wifi network.
When I try Blend on the iPad, it shows the my BB Passport as a connection option, however when I select the Passport it tries to connect and then reconnect, however times out and goes back to select the device screen.
On the Galaxy, it gives me a message saying my BB is not connected to the network.
All units have the latest Blend version. My Passport runs the 10.3.0 OS.
    Any suggestions?

  • BBM & Email doesn't work on BlackBerry Blend

My first attempt with BlackBerry Blend wasn't successful, especially in the email & BBM section. It shows nothing on email & BBM, and when I tried to open BBM on Blend, it just keep loading without any result.
But several days later, it works well, both on my MacBook Pro and my iPad, for several weeks...
Then now the same problem arise, I cannot acces BBM and email on Blend. It seems like the problem persist.
I'm using BlackBerry Q10 with latest version of BlackBerry Blend, and Blend with MacBook Pro OS Yosemite, and iPad running iOS 8.1.
Connected through WiFi, cellular network, and USB, with the same result.
Any solution on this? Is there anyone out there experiencing the same problem?
    Many thanks

Do you have any antivirus or firewall applications on your computer? Those are usually the culprit for Blend issues like you describe.

My iPad 4 does not show up on my TV screen when in AirPlay mirroring mode using WiFi.  The iPad displays AirPlay set to TV with the Mirroring On (green).
My iPad IOS software is 8.2 and my Apple TV software is at 7.1.  The TV displays the Apple Menu.  The “Settings” does however displays the General menu allowing me to see:
    Apple software:          7.1 (7003)
Apple TV:                   Model No. A1464, Part No. MD199B/A
    Signal Strength shows 5 circles.
It does not display the iPad screen but when I use the BT Sport App I can hear the sound but there is no video.  I have searched the internet for a solution to no avail. The problem first arose when the IOS was at 8.1+ but it worked correctly briefly when I updated to IOS 8.2.  Can you help please?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
    Restart your mobile device.

Does anyone know how to do a text search in the new Safari for iPad iOS 7?

The feature has been removed to make safari even less useable. You need to download a third party browser like atomic web browser to get the functionality you want back.
Like many new IOS 7 "features", safari on the ipad is a FAIL.
At least you can now bury safari in a folder containing hundreds of icons that you can only view 9 at a time.

    Do not call the number.
Double tap the Home button, then swipe upwards on the Safari preview.
Go to Settings - Safari - Clear History.
    Restart Safari.

Please do not post the entire messages log as it takes up unnecessarily a lot of space.  It seems that there is a corrupt/nonfunctional file called

Go to your hard drive, enter library, go into users, and go into launch agents and delete the thing above.  Empty the trash and restart.

    iPad (iOS 7.1.2) - Kindle.
I am looking for a good app that can help a college student with reading books that cannot be found on audio book.  I have tried voice over and it works but it's very monotone and it really strings things together.
    - I'm willing to pay for a good app but I can't seem to sort though the many that are out there. Any suggestions.

Ah. I'm surprised, but there we go.

Didn't have time to do more than skim, but 'Ardour' looked promising. Protools is the only one I've used, the full product is one of the industry standards, but the free 'lite' version listed here seems to be limited to 2 in/out as well.
Referring to your original post, I'd think trying to write or 'script' something would be a nightmare ... synchronisation of streams within something like Applescript would be a major issue, quite apart from anything else.

Since upgrade to OS 10.9 and associated iTunes 11.1.3, I can no longer WiFi sync iPad (IOS 7.0.3) nor iPhone (IOS 6.1.3).  USB connection is required.  Formerly I could sync both devices without locating them physically (not necessarily charging).  I have restarted both devices, turned off and on "Sync with this iPad/iPhone over WIFI" and restarted WiFi.  WiFi is operating (iPad has no SIM).  What next?

I'm also affected by this bug in exactly the same way as you.
Some users have had success by closing iTunes, enetering (on OS 10.9) settings --> network --> edit locations, then create a new location with the same wifi/network settings. Then restarting iTunes.
Others have had some success by editing settings --> iCloud --> de-selecting keychain
neither of these fixes have worked for me.
It appears that the iPad can "see" iTunes running on my iMac because when I open settings --> general --> 'iTunes wifi sync', "sync now" is greyed out if iTunes is not running. When iTunes is started, "sync now" is enabled but just doesn't work. Nor does the iPad appear in iTunes.

  • TS3274 iPad iOS 7.0.2 does not Trust to iTunes [11.1.1(11)] on MacBook Air 10.8.5 to iPad iOS 7.0.2

When trying to link iTunes [11.1.1(11)] on MacBook Air 10.8.5 to iPad iOS 7.0.2, even when I choose TRUST fails to connect indicating that my computer does not have permission. Even I choose TRUST, i end up with "iTunes could not connect to this iPad. You do not have permission." This is a new MacBook Air and i have recently migrated from MacBook Pro. It seems that there is a solution for this on PC but I am failing to find a thread on my specific problem. I can access to my photos and the iPad does charge. So the problem appears to be one of iTunes. I tried all the basic fixes of turning on/off both devices. I also used Disk Repair Utility to verify and repair permission—to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your reply :-),
I think I read the instructions carefully and understood that this upgrade applies only to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and up. I only have Lepord 10.5.8 on a MacBook Intel Duo Core.
Can I do this upgarde as well?

While attempting to transfer files from MacBook Pro 10.6.8 to iPad iOS 7.1 - otherwise properly "paired" - I am getting the message: your device (iPad) does not have the the necessary services. What kind of services? Is there any way how to install those services on the iPad? (This function "Send file" is working perfectly with my 9 years old Windows Mobile based mobil phone!)
    Thanks

You cannot transfer data via BT between iDevices and computers or other devices. BT on the device is only useful with keyboards and headsets.
