Blackberry Calendar to Droid X

I have a disabled Blacberry Bold, but I would like to transfer my calendar to my working Droid X. Does anyone know how?

The easiest work around to this is to sync up your blackberry and outlook calendars and then sync your google calendar with outlook using google sync app. With outlook and google calendar syncing you now have your phone updating google calendar, google calendar updating outlook....so on so forht with outlook updating google calendar which then updates your phone.

  • Blackberry calendar not synching with Outlook

    Hi guys,
We did 2 upgrades and now some black calendar are not synching naymore with outlook.
    Here's our setting
We had Blackberry Enterprise server professionnal 4.0.17 or something like that we upgraded to Blackberry server Express 5.0.3 MR 1 (Bundle 19) for Exchange server
we had Microsoft Exchange 2003 and we upgraded to 2010
Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Version 14.1.218.15 with service pack installed Update Rollup 5 SP1 and Update Rollup 4-V2 SP1
The issue is with some Blackberry device when you add something to the Black Calendar it's not showing up into Outlook calendar.
I tried to removed every cical ligne into the services book and resend the service book from the blackberry server, had no luck
    I tried these steps :
On the BlackBerry smartphone, open the Calendar application.
Click the Menu button and click Options.
Set the Wireless Synchronization option to No.
Click the Menu button and click Save.
Set the Wireless Synchronization option to Yes.
Click the Menu button and click Save. Turning wireless calendar synchronization on and off will reset the calendar database on the BlackBerry smartphone.
Create a calendar entry in Microsoft Outlook and verify that the entry wirelessly synchronizes to the BlackBerry smartphone.
    no luck too..
I don't know where to look at now have you any hint or clues

    Hello guys,
here's some new information I tried / double checked...
I make sure that Options > Advanced Options > Default Service > is set to Desktop no facebook or something else configured on the device
    I'm thinking of doing this.
we can try a forced reload. Before proceeding you need to be
aware that these steps will erase the device calendar and load a fresh copy from the server. On the device open the Calendar > press menu > Select Options >
Type RSET (nothing will appear as you type) > Then when prompted select Yes to erase the device Calendar and load a fresh copy from the server.
this would really be my last option because our employees that are having the synch issue had added some important stuff into their calendar related to their job and this information is only available on the blackberry calendar...
thanks for any advice you have about this issue.

  • Sync Problem with Outlook and Blackberry Calendars

I am hoping someone has an "easy" solution to this problem.
I am using Desktop Sync (BIS) and synching it to my work Outlook 2007 mailbox.
Normally my calendar entries should sync to the Blackberry calendar associated with my work email address. Somehow, over the course of the past several days, some of my syncing was occuring with the the VZW Blackberry calendar. I didn't catch the problem in time and now I have work calendar entries correctly listed on my Blackberry, but in two different calendars.
I have since lost some of those entries originally created in Outlook. They are on the Blackberry, but on the wrong Calendar. When I sync with Desktop, the work entries on the VZW Calendar are not getting over to Outlook.
So the question is - is there a way to "move" the entries in one BB calendar, over to the other calendar? Thanks.

I would love to know the answer to this problem as well.  I had the same problem even when I downgraded back to 5.0.  It always worked fine before.  Very Frustrating.  To get around it clearing out all the settings on my handheld.  I just have to click no every time it asks if I want to clear all databases on the phone before sync.  It still syncs but doesn't change my settings.  Annoying but works until they get this aggravation fixed.

  • Blackberry Calendar duplicates entries when receiving invites

When some (not all) invites are sent to me by email, my Blackberry records the invite as soon as the invite is received (not when it is accpeted), and then when I accept the invite in my Outlook (2010) software, and sync, the calendar entry duplicates in the Blackberry.  The Outlook calendar only shows the entry once.  As a result, my Outlook will show one  entry but Blackberry will duplicate the same entry.
If I simply just sync after the invite is recieved on my blackberry (i.e. when the blackberry records the entry) it will not appear on my Outllok calendar.  To have it show up on the Outlook calendar I need to accept the invite in Outlook.  However, as stated above once I do that and sync, the Outlook accpetance will duplicate on the Blackberry calendar.
Just verified, if I also receive an invite and don't yet accept it in either my Blackberry or Outlook, it shows up in the Blackberry calendar, and if I sync before I accept the invite, the sync duplicates the entry in the Blackberry calendar and it doesn't show up in Outlook as being accepted.
    Any ideas?

Might lead nowhere but as you have 8300s that have no Lotus notes issues and you have one 8300 that has an issue you have them under your control.  Take one of the functioning 8300s and do a sise by side compare and note with the errant 8300.
One place to check and confirm settings is Options>Date/Time
Check to see if both units have the same settings.  Quite frankly all else being equal that is the only area that I can think of that would account for a one hour time variance.

  • Syncing multiple blackberry calendar accounts to one outlook

On my blackberry calendar, I have 5 different calendar accounts tied to 5 different email accounts:  work, school, personal,  facebook, device.  Each event appears with a different colour and that is very helpful for me.
The default service (CICAL and CMIME) are both the personal email account.
The calendar entries under the personal email account and the only one that syncs back to my outlook.  Even if I create the calendar event in outlook and sync it to my blackberry, it comes out as the personal email.
    Here is what I want:
    a) to be able to synch ALL blackberry calendars at once to outlook.
    b) When I create something in my outlook, it synchs to my blackberry as "work"
    c) optional:  the capability, if possible, to choose which ones to synch.  For example, synch all blackberry calendar events to outlook EXCEPT for facebook calendar events
    Please help.  Thanks!
    Solved!

The Desktop Manager only syncs with the default CICAL calendar on the device.
Take a look at this KB article. It talks about merging multiple calendars into one

  • Outlook and Blackberry Calendar

I really want an calendar that will sync with my blackberry that I do not have to go online to use. I'm thinking of purchasing Outlook 07 for my laptop. My question is, I realize this is an email program also. I do not have to be online to manage and use the calendar part of the program, right? And outlook does sync with a blackberry (I have 8900)? Thanks for the help.
Edited to correct grammar and now I'm editing because I realize what I've said is confusing. So here is additonal explanation.
I knew I didn't explain that well enough. I know that I can sync with yahoo calendar and google calendar with my blackberry. I want to be able to share info between my device and my computer. I have no problems using google or yahoo calendars on my laptop. They are both excellent calendar programs. The problem is the internet is not really reliable at school and also they have gotten much stricter about which sites we can access and which ones we can't. I've heard that yahoo is now off limits so that means that calendar can't be used at school. That leaves google calendar which is fine just as long as the internet isn't down. There are times when I have my laptop available and not my blackberry so I do want my life on my computer also. If I can't get online on my computer, I'm up a creek. So in essence, do you have to be on the internet on your laptop in order to access the calendar functions in outlook?

    Hi Kairo'sgrammy!
Outlook 2007 will sync with your Blackberry just fine. You will have equal calendars on both the PC and the BB.
Two big changes to think about.
    1) When syncing with Yahoo or Google online calendars, you have immediate transfer of data. If you updated Google
online calendar, or your Blackberry it would synch automatically, and vice versa.
    2) With Outlook the synchronization takes place when you run the desktop manager sync program.
Example. You enter a meeting on the Outlook PC calendar for a 9:00 apt. Later you use your Blackberry
to enter an appointment for an 11:00am meeting. Both appointments are not visible on either calendar
until you run the synchronize program. I usually run it a night after work. All appointments from the PC and
Blackberry calendar are synchronized on both devices, and reflected for the next day.
You synchronize the Outlook calendar and the BB calendar through the default email address on both.
Let me know if this makes sense!
Thanks. Someone on a delphiforum mentioned that you can sync google with outlook so if you are wirelessly synced with google on your blackberry phone, that might work to update outlook. I've got outlook on order and amazon is sending it via pony express, LOL, so I'll be able to figure out more then. Whether it does or doesn't sync wireless is fine with me. Syncing physically and daily works for me. The sync does work well with google and blackberry as far as calendar stuff goes. It won't sync memo stuff or task stuff wirelessly. If I want google to know a task, I put it in the calendar seeing as I schedule most tasks anyway. If I don't, I get too wishy washy about them.

  • Synchronising blackberry calendar with online work diary?

    Hi
I am told that it is possible to synchronise my blackberry calendar with my online work diary, so that my blackberry calendar always remains up to date (when entries are made online). I am trying to achieve this but do not know how. Can anyone help?
    I have a blackberry curve 8520.

    Hey saifonline,
Sorry, but there is no supported way to sync this type of calendar with the BlackBerry.

  • Duplicate blackberry calendar events, ACK

I've searched the forum and it appears other people have had sync issues with their blackberry calendars. Mine only syncs via google sync to my google calendar--no outlook, no BES, etc.  And the duplicate entries appear both on my computer screen in google calendar and on my blackberry handset.
I noticed this was happening a little while ago but not every entry duplicated--and also they only would show up two or three times.  However, yesterday and today--a few items duplicated 20 or 30 times and an item/event set to repeat every year on my calendar today--well, it must have duplicated 1k times because you can scroll and scroll and scroll.... and I think if I sat and tried to delete each entry it would take days even when I pull down to delete a handset screen at a time.
From reading, it appears this may be a google sync issue.  So I removed google sync from my handset. Then I erased my google calendar entries (big mistake) and tried to resync my blackberry calendar over to the google calendar by restoring sync but now the the BB calendar will not pull over to google calendar.
Of course I could LIVE without using google calendar although it is REALLY CONVENIENT since I share appt. items (view only)  amongst co-workers and family. And no, I never tried to sync their google calendars to my handset only my own calendar.
But even if I lived without the google calendar, I still have super slow calendar--it's literally like having an old fashioned paper calendar and having to turn 100 pages singly to get to the spot you want.....
I cannot delete my handset calendar as I will probably not show up to a dozen appointments in the next few days because I wouldn't know what they are.  Trying to use my calendar with its lag is not efficient at all.  I
Is there anyway I can just tell the calendar to delete any entries in my calendar from x time to y time on z day? Is there any solution to this besides deleting all or living with it?
Incidentally, Verizon told me the only solution is to delete or reset...and then said to ask RIM as it is there calendar with the problem now.

    Try this:
Go to options > advanced options > service books > highlight desktop CICAL > hit your menu key and select delete > once gone hit your menu key again and select undelete. This should have brought it back. Check your appointments again and let me know if that worked.

  • TS3398 syncing blackberry calendar to iphone

    Hi there,
I would like to know if anyone has experienced difficulty syncing a blackberry calendar to an iphone ???
Any help would be appreciated !!!
    Thanks

    Craig:
Very odd - what kind of system are you running?
    Mac or PC?
When I first got my iPhone 3Gs about 18 months ago I was having trouble with the sync-ing of calendars and found that events that DID repeat "forever" were the problem. After changing them to only repeat for (say) one year's worth of time (weekly meetings) or about 10 years (annual events) everything worked OK.
It appeared that if there were too many entries that the sync. broke. For example I have one uncle born in 1912 (yeah he's seen a few things in his life...) and his birthday would not sync at all until I lied and said he was born in 1972 (other dates might have worked also I just lost motiviation for trying to pin-point the problem -- I had a support case open with Apple but they were never able to explain the behavior .... just that (after I figured it out) "ummm yeah, that's the way it works" ....

  • Synchronise Blackberry Calendar to Windows (Vista) Calendar?

In the Blackberry Desktop manager - synchronisation setup I am not being offered Windows Calendar as an option. Why not and how can I rectify this?

    Hi Xandrex
Many thanks. I suppose that as a specialist you must be right though I find it astonishing that Blackberry does't synch with Windows Calendar. Outlook is as I understand it replaced in Windows Vista by Windows Mail, Windows Contacts and Windows Calendar. As Blackberry does synch with Windows (Vista) Contacts then why not Windows Calendar - it doesn't make sense!
I'm a "Specialist I" ... that just means I talk a lot on this forum and half of my messages just say "tell me more about you and your blackberry"...
To stay focused on your topic : you will see there are always problems with new versions of Microsoft applications : Outlook 2007, Windows Vista Calendar, and event Windows Vista 64bits. I don't have any views at RIM's developers HQ, but I think most problems is because Microsoft tells people about the changes in their application too late. (= not soon enough) so that developpers (including the ones at RIM) can modify their applications.
The other reason is maybe RIM wants to spend more time for their corporate users (those who have a company IT that takes care of everything through BES, as opposed to commom people who will use BIS). Blackberries are mainly for a corporate use, and a corporate calendar is Outlook Calendar, not Windows Calendar.
That being said, Google developped a tool to sync between a Google Calendar and the Blackberry calendar, so if you manage to use a Google Calendar, you're in paradise. Maybe there is a tool to synchronize between a Google Calendar and the Windows Calendar (it's easy to do with webdav, but I don't know if it is prioritized by Microsoft developpers).
Conclusion is harsh : you are too much a pioneer, you should stick with things that work

  • Blackberry refugee - how to syncronize contacts/calendar; pc -- droid razr?

I had blackberry using vz desktop manager to sync data (most importantly contacts and calendar) between bb and pc. Now I have droid razr I use for business --  how do I accomplish the same sync? I need simple auto-sync procedure to copy/delete information on both. Please advise (in idiot-proof detail). Thanks.

If you have a Google account the calendar should automatically be synched between the PC<----->Razr. As for synching contacts, if you add a new contact to your Razr, it should automatically be added to your list of contacts on your PC in your Gmail account.

  • Blackberry calendar will not sync all appointments to MS Outlook 2007

    Hello All,
    Hardware and Software background:
BB Storm 2 9550 registered on the the Verizon Wireless Network ("VZW")
OS of the device: Version 5.0.0.105 (official OS from VZW)
Desktop OS: MS Windows 7 Ultimate Premium
    Problem:
I am trying to sync all of my BB calendar entries to the Outlook 2007 Calendar and the device or Intellisynch software will not sync any BB calendar appointment that is added under the [email protected] service book/calendar. In fact the only entries that will sync to Outlook are those entered under/with the @vzw.blackberry.net service book/calendar. This was confirmed with a number of test appointments added to the BB. The only ones that sync are those added under the @vzw.blackberry.net service book/calendar. I deleted all the service books with CICAL in the name; sync and then resent my service books and still no luck.
When I go to Calendar\Options all of my calendars are there; when I select @vzw.blackberry.net there are 3421 entries; when I select the @gmail.com calendar it has 9 entries.
    Questions:
    1. How do I get the BB calendar enteries all of them to synch with Outlook.
    2. When I enter an appointment on the BB I want the default calendar to be @gmail.com; I already have that selected under Default Services.
    3. How to do I "merge" the calendar entries entered under @vzw.blackberry.net service book/calendar with those for [email protected]
    Thanks,
    Vernon

I have provided some information below that may help.
Question 1: To complete this task I would recommend downloading the latest version of the Blackberry Desktop software. To download the software please select the link www.vzam.net/blackberry and select whether you have personal or corporate email.
            Desktop version 6 instructions:
    1.      Once downloaded and installed I would recommend setting up the synchronization through the “Organizer”
    2.      Select the data to organizer (i.e Calendar)
    3.      Click Configure settings
    4.      Select (i.e Calendar)
    5.      Select the direction of the synchronization (two way sync, one way sync, etc.)
    6.      Select the preferred options
    7.      Select Finish
Question 2: I have provided a Blackberry link below on Gmail calendar synchronization

  • Transferring numbers from blackberry tour to droid

my droid came in the mail today, and for some reason, verizon shut off my blackberry data plan the day i ordered my droid, not when i activated it. this left me unable to backup my contacts i have stored in my blackberry using backup assistant. i have downloaded ABC Amber Blackberry IPD converter to save my contacts that way, but it only allows me to save 10 at a time, and with several hundred contacts, this could take awhile. does anyone know of a way i can transfer these contacts without going to the store and not costing me any money?

The Droid 2 also has backup assistant, if your contacts are stored on Verizon's service you should be able to get them back.
If the BB can export your contacts to a vcf file, you can put the file on your Droid's sd card and import them.

  • Blackberry Calendar Sync - Wrong Events Dates

    Hi
I recently wiped my entire calendar on my phone as it was a mess. I composed a new calender with certain re-occuring series events on outlook calendar 2012.
The syncing porcess to my Blackberry Curve 8900 works fine, no issues raised by Desktop manager yet when i look at my phones calendar there are random events that have been placed on wrong dates?!
EG: an event for the 01.10.12 will be showing on the 02.10.12. When i click on this event on my phone and view 'whole series' the date shows for the 01.10.12 to re-occur every few week - so why its on the 02.10.12 i have no idea - Interestingly though when i click on the same event but 'view occurance' it shows the incorrect date of 02.10.12. These events are 'entire dat events'
Outlook is defintely correct and i have not put in this occurance for the 02.10.12 so why is it syncing to my blackberry as wrong occurance date but correct series information? bizzare. Really frustrating.
When i look at future series dates for this incorrect occurance there doesnt seem to be a pattern, the other series are correct. However throughout the year there could be up to 15 diffierent examples of this happening on random dates.
Ive looked at several formums and tech help. Im using OS5 operating system.
Any workaround, fix? Does anyone else experience this issue?
    Thanks
