Blackberry Desktop Manager does not show Media Manager

First, let me say I am a NEW Blackberry user, my hubby and I both got new Blackberry Curves 8310 recently.
   When I installed the disc that came with the phone, the Blackberry Desktop Manager does not have the "Media Manager" as one of the choices, as was shown on all of the booklets and tutorials. I even re-installed the program, thinking maybe it didn't download completely the first time, but it still comes up showing only these 4:
         Synchronize, Backup & Restore, Application Loader, and Switch Device Wizard.......
All of the directions I've received show that I can easily add pictures and music simply by clicking on Media Manager, but it just isn't there.
Here is info about the installation disk that we received with our phones, supposedly the correct and latest versions . . ..

I will appreciate any help with this, I'm really frustrated. I figured out how to move files manually, but I don't understand why it isn't showing up as illustrated in the instruction manuals and online tutorials.

When you get to the page that has the downloads, pay attention to which version your downloading as some have media manager (near bottom) and some do not have media manager (near top)

I just purchased a new iPad mini for my husband. I removed his old one from the section of iTunes that reads manage devices. And even though his new iPad mini is synced and backed up, now the new one does not show under manage devices.

Hub Manager does not show Wireless connection

My 'Hub Manager' shows my Ethernet connected PC; my hub phone and the wireless connected printer.
My daughter has a new laptop which has wireless connection to my Hub. According to her laptop it is connected to my Hub and she has access to the internet.
However, my Hub Manager does not show her as connected to the Hub. The result of this means that she cannot connect to the wireless printer.
We have disconnected and re connected to no avail.
Any thoughts??? All help appreciated.

BlackBerry Desktop Software does not recognize Bluetooth

When I try to add my BlackBerry using Bluetooth the BlackBerry Desktop Software does not recognize it. I have ensured that my BlackBerry is in Listen mode but it won't connect. I know the Bluetooth support on my BlackBerry Storm is working (9550) because it does recognize my laptop.

Can not sync or do anything else. I believe I have the latest versions of Desktop Software and Device software.

If you updated the desktop installer and the screen is blank: try this:
Rename the opm.db file.
Close the Creative Cloud application if it's running.
Navigate to the OOBE folder.
Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
Rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db
Launch Creative Cloud

Desktop Manager does not show blackberry connected

I find this desktop manager is NOT set up for the average computer user and just wants you to PAY. As I was quoted $650.00 for one year of support. I will go back to Motorola before I pay that amount of cash. The Motorola software is user friendly and support was FREE. The only reason I got a BLACKBERRY is I won it and I broke my Motorola and needed a new phone anyway.
I have had this paperweight for two weeks and am very tempted to recycle it. I have installed this software twice and reinstalled it twice and every time I try to connect it to my computer the Desktop Manager does not pick up my Blackberry it shows Disconnected yet I have to go to safely remove hardware to disconnect it and it shows in there

I would suggest you use the following procedure to do a clean install of the 4.3 software and download 4.5

I use this version and it is very stable with XP.

Blackberry Curve 8330 - Does not show in call timer anymore?

Either I am completely losing my mind, or this feature has disappeared. I used to be able to see, on the current call screen, a timer that showed the length of the current call. Now it does not show?
Any help would be appreciated!

I am having the exact same problem, with my Blackberry Curve - I was starting to think I was going crazy, because I am very certain that the current call time *used to* display on the screen, during the call. And now, it's not there anymore!
After checking all of the options settings in the phone and finding nothing to enable or disable this feature, I decided to call Verizon - who was clueless - they suggested that I restore my phone and re-install the OS. I've already checked the user guide, which has no mention of this feature (in either software version, v.4.2.2 or v.5.0)
** However, I will agree that this problem started when I had upgraded to v.5.0. **
I am also surprised that more folks have not taken notice of this - anyone out there with a solution please post it here!

Equium P200D PSPBNE: device manager does not show the DVD-RW DVR-K17A ATA DVD/CD

Hello experts out there i need urgent help!!
My Equium P200D all of a sudden it decided to show the DVD/CD Drive in device manager as no longer working due to a corrupt driver??
I am running Vista Home and despite deleting the drive and trying to update the driver nothing seem's to work can anybody help i am getting to the point of throwing it out of the window.

This issue is known to me it happened to me too
The problem is you Windows registry!!!
One registry entry is corrupt and therefore the CD/DVD ROM does not work as I should.
So what to do.
Firstly remove the driver from the device manager. Just simply delete it.
Then access the registry and and remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters values completely from the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
Then reboot the notebook.

The label on the bottom of the laptop says the Model Number is PSPAOU-1W2036. I have had it for about 2 years. During this time till 2 days ago, it ran factory installed Windows XP MCE just fine. Device Manager had always showed Tbios as a device.
During the two days starting 3 days ago, I successfully upgraded the operating system to Windows Vista Ultimate. Everything works fine except Device Manager no longer shows Tbios device.
I am not able to find any Tbios WinVista driver at Support.Toshiba.com for all listed Satellite P105 models.
What does Tbios do to serve what purpose?
Is Tbios required for WinVista? If so, how may I find the driver to install.

Photoshop cs6 preset manager does not show all the basic brushes

So I'm having this problem: The brush panel shows all the default brushes, but the Brush Presets panel & the Brush Preset manager do not, intact the last brush they show is "100 Rough Round Bristle". If I want to load any other brush set, it over writes any brushes that appear after "100 Rough Round Bristle".
Need some serious help as my workflow is being severely hampered.

it only shows the first 67 at max... if you delete anything before the 100 Rough Round, that becomes the new default number. It's like the rest of the brushes don't exist. Although I can select them in the Brush Panel. It's strange.

BlackBerry Desktop Software does not recognize my device

My problem is that when I plug my phone into my desktop computer by USB it will charge, but when I go to do anything to by means of BlackBerry Desktop Software the program does not recognize that my device is plugged in. This has been going on for months now that it will not sync, I just haven't desperately needed to sync my phone until now. I have tried pulling the battery and pulling the sim card. I have also tried other USB cords.

The Blackberry Desktop Software Does not work it 'freezes'

I have on my laptop the Blackberry Desktop Software, which has being working fine for a long time, but suddenly it 'freezes' nothing is working. I have un-installed it, run Ccleaner to clean up registries, re-installed it again and the same thing happens IT "FREEZES" don't know the reason??? Need help because I always do my backups on my BB.

Please review the System Requirements for the RIM Desktop Software:

As you see, with XP, SP3 has been required for quite some time...so none of the more recent Desktop Software versions will work for you. But, those System Requirements pages are kind of messed up right now (three tabs claiming to be for "6.0.1", but with different information on each).
If you cannot obtain SP3, then you will need to fall back to older and older versions of the Desktop Software until you find one that works under SP2. Old versions can be found here:

IPhone 5 storage with iOS 8 fluctuating; video does not show in manage storage

Hi, I'm about to go on a long trip and the iPhone's local storage keeps fluctuating, from the 500MB to the 0MB range. I upgraded to iOS 8 yesterday via iTunes and there were 2.7GB left of storage. I checked all apps and when going to the Video App, there is nothing there, every single video (movie, tv show, music clip) shows the cloud icon, so "swiping to the left to delete" is not available.
But when going to the iTunes Store "purchased" section, there are 3 tv episodes ready to watch, with no cloud but a "WATCH" icon. So I'm thinking this is what caused the fill-up, even though I didn't download 3 episodes. There is no "swiping to the left to delete" within the iTunes purchased section. The episodes just sit there, ready to be watched, and when clicking on the icon, sure enough, the episode comes up.
Going to Manage Storage, there is no visible video app. Yes, all apps are showing, there is no "show all apps" option available at the bottom.
I can't sync with iTunes because those episodes are stored on another drive, so the sync is not even an option, I hadn't seen this show in ages. There are no pending downloads. The sync that happened after the upgrade didn't change, same playlists, same photos, same everything. The 3 episodes show a cloud in the Video App.
Does anyone have a solution for this, deleting the unwanted, "invisible" tv episodes? Thanks in advance.

If the movie clip is there, but no thumbnails, I would suggest that you delete the thumbnails, cache, and analysis folders but take care not to delete your original clips. Do this in the Finder after shutting down iMovie.
Then restart iMovie and let it regenerate the thumbnails. Let it run until it finishes.

Application manager does not show Acrobat Pro in the list of apps

So I cannot use the application, because of a defect in the list of applications.
The serial number applies to Acrobat Pro, but it doesnt show up in the list of aplications in the application manager.
