BlackBerry ID email incorrect and forgotten password - oops!
Oops! I have just tried logging in with my BlackBerry ID, discovered I had forgotten my password, then realised my BB ID email address was incorrect, and am not sure what to do next. I am a new BlackBerry owner. My software is version 7.1.
(1) Is there an alternative to backing up, wiping all my custom settings, new apps, docs, pics, and other data, including my old BB ID, then starting again? If so please give instructions that an **bleep** (I have ADHD) can follow.
(2) Or, could someone point me to an idiots guide that makes it seem less scary than it does right now...

After a lot of Googling, I discovered I just had to bite the bullet;
Backup BB to my desktop pc
Security Wipe
Pray!
Restore from desktop
Enter *carefully* my correct email and a secure password
And it worked! I use Linux, so I had to use the Open Source 'Barry' backup app. All my contacts, calendars, tasks, playlists, docs, etc are all back and everything working. And I can now install upgrades to pre-installed apps, and try out new apps from BB App World. Backups are always a good thing, especially now I know the restore option really works! Now I am a happy BlackBerry user again

I'm a new user of an iPad. Before my PC had iTunes (it does now), I loaded Aps from from the iStore using my daughter's PC with my iPad cable-connected. I indicated my email address and Apple password--not hers and paid for these Aps--receipts arrived via my email. Now I want to upgrade to 5.1 but the Aps now loaded on my iPad do not show up on my PC iTunes library. When I click 'Upgrade' I get a warning message that says all Aps currently on the iPad will be obliterated in the process which of course I don't want to have happen because they're not showing up on my PC which presumably means my PC is not aware of what's on my iPad. Do I have to buy these same Aps again to keep them if I'm going to upgrade to 5.1, and how do I get my iTunes on my PC to back up the Aps currently loaded onto my iPad?
You should be able to copy the apps (and any other iTunes purchases) over to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. And as long as apps remain available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to purchase them, you should be able to re-download them in the future : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
If you are already on iOS 5+ on your iPad then you should be able to update the iPad directly on the iPad via Settings > General > Software Update . -
I did not know my kids had set up an Itunes account for me with one user name and password. then i got an i phone and set it up with a different email address and new password. how can i get my accounts to merge so i can have all of my music on my iphone

You can set up your iCloud account on your iOS device under: "Settings > iCloud" and a other account for store purchases under "Settings > iTunes & App Stores". Unfortunately merging accounts is not possible but you could transfer all of your music manually via iTunes from your Mac or PC. -
I recently changed my email address for the Apple Id and it was accepted but now when the App store comes up it still shows my old email address and no password will work. iCloud and Facetime are fine. Don't know why it stays there or how to alter it.

Forgot 2nd email used for forgotten password questions
I set up a iCloud for 5 year old daughter, I think someone logged in and changed the emergency email We know the password. But its requesting the forgotten password questions. Don't remember 2 of them . I normally can figure these out, but for the life of me I can not find the email to send reset questions to

i while ago i was using my original email address for my apple ID. then i changed service providers for talk talk to BT internet, and i doing so my old email address became discontinued. i now use a gmail account for my new Apple ID. i do not know my security questions for my old one and cannot log into my old email address to veryify a reset password because said address no longer exists. please help, thank you.

If you have a rescue email address setup, then you should be able to send an email to reset the password or the security questions. If that is not available, then you would need to contact iTunes Store support. Check out the article below for more information.

I cannot seem to change my email address and password on icloud. I have changed it in itunes. But On all my apple products it will not let me, I just keep getting a window popping up on all of them asking me to go to settings but when I go into setting I cannot get it to change. Help !!!
Go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with your new credentials. If all you did was modify your existing ID rather than creating and entirely new ID, you can choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted. Your data will still be in iCloud and will download to your phone when you sign back in.

Why does the mail app think my email username and or password is wrong, when they are correct?
I used to be able to check my AOL email through the mail app on my ipod touch. Recently it has been telling me that my username and/or password for my AOL email is wrong. I checked my username and password by logging in to my email on my computer. I tried deleteing and readding the account. Restoring then readding. I am able to use my gmail accounts on my ipod touch.

Is your AOL account an AOL Kids account? I have seen problems with AOL Kids accounts before in Apple Discussions. Try a forum search and see if anything useful comes up.

Cant access purchased music associated with an closed email and forgotten password
Long ago, my first purchases on iTunes were using an aol email address for my iTunes account. I ended up opening a mac.com email as soon as it was available and shortly thereafter, closed the aol account. The iTunes purchases on the aol email address account are unaccessible now. I have no idea what my old password for the aol acct was, and when I try to reset it, using the aol email, security question, and my birthdate. Security question was the correct answer, but it won't take my birthdate--says its not a birthdate associated with the aol address. I checked to make sure it was not my error. No clue what to try next. Any ideas?

I just got my new I pad, entered all of my information.. after confirmingm y account I realized I had put in the wrong email address. I went on my laptop to change my apple id address, then went to my ipad to purchase an app and it still had my old(incrrect) email address. I typed in the password anyway and it would not let me sign in. I only gave it one password so I don't know why it is saying my password is incorrect. Anywho, THis ipad is a pain in the ***. NEver had a mac before and already its a pain in the ***. I have read a couple of threads that are not really helpful. I read one thread on this site that showed a lady with my similiar issue and she did not get the answer she was looking for. Can some one help me so I can change the apple I.D. on my ipad. The apple I.D. on my computer lets me sign in but not on my ipad; go figure. Good job apple. please help.
i just opened my ipad, started my apple account/I.D. and realized I put the wrong e mail. I was having trouble correcting my I.D on the Ipad so I went to my laptop and make the proper changes/slash e mail address I wanted for my apple ID. I got back to my ipad and try to download an app I can't because I have to sign in my apple account and I can't because it still has the irrelivant I.D/email address..
So, i did what you said.. went to setting>app store> tapped on my e mail.. it asked me to sign in (with my invalid emails address showing). I signed in with the password I had created. It said "incorrect".. I went to reset password. I reset password, tried to sign in and it says again "unvalid password".. this is getting irritating. I have been asking and no one knows what to do. -
I got a new phone but backed it up through my itunes, and when I tried to use icloud it kept telling me I have forgotten my password, when I really really didn't. So I went to settings > itunes&appstore and changed my password, but also changed the email address too while I was at it, since I've always wanted to change it. But now here's the problem. My iphone's icloud is currently logged in with my old apple ID email address, which seems to not work with the new password, so I can't log it or even delete the account off my iphone. And ovbiously, I don't know the old password that I have "forgotten", as my phone tells me. There seems to be no way of changing the icloud account now.... What should I do?!

I cannot backup since bought phone bc email can never be verified it is spelled wrong and I Can never connect on updates.

It sounds like you have an incorrect iCloud account entered into your phone and are attempting to use it for backup. You can change the Apple ID by going to Settings > iCloud > Account and entering the correct iCloud account information as described here -
