Blackberry ID Error Message while want to download paid application from App-World in Playbook.

I am using Blackberry Playbook OS ver. 2.0.1.358 for the last one month, recently I couldn't download paid application from the App-World, playbook responds While download appln.- entering Blackberry ID and PW > Failed Attempt 2/10 The username and password doesn't correspond to the valid Blackberry ID.
I have tried to download again >
Failed Attempt 3/10 The username and password doesn't correspond to the valid Blackberry ID.
Then I closed the application world in my playbook. I had surfed to the Blackberry id web site and used to login. It was successful every time but in the Play book respods error message as mentioned above every time.
What is the crazy Blackberry playbook and what went wrong? Please help me.

If found the workaround on the post Upgrading problem on this forum. Solution is to hit the Refresh List button in app world. Once the refresh completes I was able to update the app.

  • I received an error message while I was downloading a CD

I just purchased the One Direction CD and received a few errors ( something about the network & resetting) messages while it was downloading some of the songs.  On the songs that I received the error message, they did not download completely.  How can I fix this?

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • I am not able to download paid application from Ov...

I can download free application form ovi store, but not able to download paid application. I am from India and my operator is reliance (nokia support reliance only in India). Whenever I try to download paid application, I am getting error "Connection error. Unable to connect to server. Connection failed, please try again". I have enough balance in my account.
There is no customer care number/email address for help regarding Ovi store. How do i complaint about this issue to ovi store??

I'm not using using Ovi store for some time now, I am not able install it as I've done a hard reset on my E7. When I was using with Airtel SIM back in March I was able to see an option to pay via credit card, well things have changed, and before my hard reset problem my Reliance SIM card was mostly on the E7 and I bought few apps too via operator billing. You're right about customer care of Reliance and Nokia who don't have any idea about this. With my experience with Ovi store/reliance operator billing there is no way to get refunds, in case of failed transactions you are left with no refunds. There is no information about this anywhere in Nokia-India website, this lack of information is what frustrates and keeps me away from buying apps from Ovi store.

  • Error messages while trying to download iTunes 8.1.1 update

I keep getting the following message while downloading the iTunes software update:
    'Error NSURLErrorDomain -1005 (-1005)'
It happens just after the 'expanding and verifying' stage. I'm using T-Mobile's 'mobile broadband usb stick 110'. I only got the usb broadband yesterday but I've already downloaded music and videos (from iTunes and other sites) and the Safari and Security updates with no problems so I don't think that's the problem.
Any help would be much appreciated!

    Interesting.
Okay, let's try some general principles troubleshooting with this one, then.
    (1) Do you currently have a copy of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package installed on that PC? If so, try downloading the following security update:
[Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update|http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=766a6af7-ec73-4 0ff-b072-9112bab119c2&displaylang=en#filelist]
Does iTunes install for you after applying that update?
    (2) If no joy there, head into your Windows Update and click on the Update History. Have a lot of Updates also been failing for you recently? If so, doubleclick on the entries for the failed updates to bring up more information on each. What error codes appear for you for the failed updates? (Precise spelling, please.)

  • Error message while publishing folio publicly on to live app

We've been able to adding and publishing new folios on to our live app but encountered a problem today.
From Folio Producer, we clicked "Publish" to upload the folio and set to Public. The upload status runs okay until it reaches around 40% and then an error message appears. Something like "an error occured while uploading on server..."
We repeated the process twice but got the same result.
Anything we could have done wrong? Need help asap. Our new content should be made available tomorrow. Thanks!

If the problem is continually occuring at a specific point, I would track the article number it is on when the publishing process is running into the error. I would then try re-uploading that article via folio builder.

  • Recieved error messages while performing recovery to factory state from the hard drive

HP Touchsmart tx2-1165ea, product no:NM515EA,microsoft vista SP1 operating system.
I keep recieving error messages during  recovery to factory state from hard drive and  perfoming a recovery from my recovery disc hangs on disc2. Therefore I am unable to update vista sp1 to vista sp2 the reson is: error SMI primitive installer failed (ox8007371c).
Reason for recovery ? performed a clean upgrade to windows 7(as rcommended) but I dont like that operating system
Request: kindly rectify my factory shipped recovery partion errors.

    Thank you for the clarification.
Typically, service packs have some requirements before they are listed in Windows update. It's really the build ID that determines what updates are listed through Windows Updates. Various Windows Updates will change the build ID and once that prerequisite is reached, service should be listed. I know that service pack 2 does not show in Windows Update until several updates and restarts later on my Vista SP1 system at home.
Have you tried running Windows Update multiple times making sure to install the important updates or did you go straight to trying to manually install the service pack?
    1. recovery disc is on the hard drive shipped in the computer from the factory.
I may be reading too much into this, but does this mean the recovery was performed by pressing F11 during boot or by using disks created using the hard drive's recovery partition prior to upgrading to it to Windows 7?
Also, how many times did you attempt the recovery from scratch? Many users have stated simply doing the recovery again took care of the issue and this seemed to be independent of manufacturer.
You can try the registry edit listed here, but registry edits are a little risky and do so at your own risk.  However, try the first solution in the registry edit post.

  • I keep getting an error message while trying to download the blackberry app world on my blackberry 9900

Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor.
    The "MIDlet-Name" attribute is missing.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!
    Please try this sequence:
    1) Remove AppWorld from your BB
KB10040 How to view or remove installed applications on a BlackBerry smartphone
If it requests that you reboot the BB, do so
    2) Do a Batt-Pull reboot (power on, remove battery, wait, insert battery, wait), even if redundant to the one you did in step 1.
    3) Install (on your BB) a fresh copy of AppWorld
    http://blackberry.com/appworld/download
Again, if it requests to reboot, do so.
    4) Do another Batt-Pull reboot
    5) See if it now works.
    Cheers!

I've been trying to install itunes 9 on windows vista system. During the install, it says "error occurred during installation of assembly policy 8.0.microsoft.vc80.CRT, version 8.0.50727.403 type win 32 policy public key token=1fc8b3b901e18e3bprocess architecture=x86 Quicktime installs OK, but Itunes install is interruped -- Apple Support install portion is rolled back after this error pops up. I went thru suggested Apple troubleshooting options, got same error. Ran install as administrator from desktop, also did not work. Tried installing both thru apple software updater and directly from Apple website -- still get error. I am also having trouble downloading new updates for my computer, has anyoone exp this??
