Blackberry ID reset issue

Good day,
Please help, I have forgotten my password and the recovery question and answer hasnt helped. Ive been trying to reset it on the PC with no luck for 3days now. i cant go onto BBM

You'll need to remember either your password or your security question answer. Without either one you can't reset your BB ID and you'll have to make a new one. This, unfortunately, will cause you to lose all data associated with your old one, such as contacts and paid apps from BlackBerry World.

    Do this, remove the device from the USB connection to the PC.
    Restart: Press and hold the upper edge power button about 20-30 seconds, ignore the 3-2-1 timer and hold until the screen goes black and you see the red LED.

    Reboot: On the side edge volume keys, press and hold down both of the Up and Down volume keys for about 20 seconds, ignoring the initial screenshot message... the screen will go black and reboot.

  • WAD webpage reset issue

    Hi Forum,
    I have a requirement wherein a web page selection screen is developed in WAD(with some amount of Javascript involved) for the page transition from the selection screen to the report output. The ideal scenario in this case is once a user selects his selection of specific values in the selection screen and runs the report, it displays the report and the selection screen should remain intact as it is for reselecting different values. The issue occuring here is once the user selects the values and clicks on the Run Report button, the report displays fine but the selection screen resets back to a different kind of a screen(displaying exceptions and few other tabs) wherein the user is not able to reselect other values for rerunning the report. Once the user clicks on the back button then the selection screen displays again wherein the user can enter his selections again. So, ideally we need to prevent the selection screen from resetting itself to the exceptions screen, keeping the screen intact as it was.
    If anyone has faced a similar kind of an issue in WAD, any help on this would be extremely appreciated.

    Hi,
    Try the below steps.
    open WAD ---> open the Web Template (WT) you want to make changes ---> goto properties of the WT ---> select tab 'web item' ---> try checking or unchecking the below mentioned items in the web item list.
    Forced Variable Screen Display
    Reset variables to Default
    Display same variable only once
    Read Mode for Data
    Hope this will help resolve webpage reset issue.

    I've had my S750s for about 6 months, with X-Fi Elite Pro, and has been doing it since.
    Any idea on what's the cause? Something to do with the control pod?

    What do you mean exactly? On my side I have power on/off/resetting issue when the speaker are in standby mode (thus red light on the control pod) and when I switch them on via the remote control or the control pod. It makes a strange noise in the subwoofer ("clic"), the red light disappear, then a new noise and the speakers are switched on. The problem is that all volume levels (rear / side / center / sub and main) are reinitialized! I have to configure them each time this problem appears...
    I have a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS connected to this speaker system. For me it is related to an electrical problem in the subwoofer like if the voltage was not stable (variations).

    Are you entering letters and numbers only? Special characters are not permitted (I don't think so, anyway).

  • Z30 Blackberry ID password issue

    Hello, I just got a new z30 unlocked phone.  In Settings > Blackberry ID it still shows Email not confirmed after resetting my password many times. I get a pop up box to enter user id and password but I am not getting anywhere (another error pop up box is no coming up) yet on my computer I am able to log into the Blackberry ID just fine. Can you please help? Thank you.

    It is possible your phone was used by someone else with another account. Many of these phone bought online, or from non authorizied dealers for Blackberry can be returned phones, or refirbished, and etc., that were activated on previous accounts.
    Wipe the phone and re-install the operating system to start with. If you cannot create a new account for your phone and then properly apply it, then the phone has issues, or your service provider is not allowing Blackberry service to work properly.

  • Blackberry App World Issues

    I upgraded my BB in December and since then I've not been able to download anything from the app world, it keeps telling me 'unable to log in'.
    I've been in contact with Orange since then and have been told that they can no longer help with solving this issue, I'm starting to lose my patience with the whole thing now as I can't even get hold of an contact email address to try and solve my issue.
    I've tried resetting my password and even making a new blackberry ID and have had no joy. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you resolve it? Starting to consider getting and iPhone, at least you can go instore if you have any problems

    This is a nightmare! From yesterday i've receive emails from my GMail mailboxes like a **bleep**:
    No SUBJECT
    No FROM
    BODY no decoded, it is in Base64 encoding
    Trying to send email - my recipients can't read them! They unreadable.
    From morning there is no emails in my inbox
    Called to carrier, spend more than 2 hours - their support is POOR. "Resend service books, reset device" - this is all what they can offer.
    RIM, please send technician to that carrier or do something.

    In regards to your hope that RIM will see your message -- these forums are a user-to-user support channel, not a user-to-RIM conduit. As such, it is unlikely that they will see what you have written.
    There has been a BIS issue going on over the last couple of days -- I've yet to see if it still is present this morning...see this site:

    That latest post was from yesterday and does indicate a limitation to North America -- but, given what others have reported on these forums, I suspect it is wider than that. So far, nothing formal, however.

  • Blackberry 8330 Syncing issues

    I have been trying to sync my phone for the past week and each and every time I attempt it I get an error message saying that Yahoo is inaccesible at this time and try back in a few minutes.  I talked to Tech Support and they referred me to Blackberry and still have yet to reach anyone at Blackberry without having to pay.  I REFUSE TO PAY for this.  I have never had an issue syncing my phone.  I even updated my Desktop Manager Software and still no luck.  So I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it thinking that it would help, but still no luck.  I just want my phone to sync so that all of my contacts are up to date.  PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

    I have listed an article and steps below that will help in syncing your Yahoo contacts with your Blackberry device.
    ***Before following the steps below I would recommend a soft reset of your device. A soft reset is where you would remove the battery for a few moments, and place the battery back in the device. The device will power up automatically.
    ***I would also recommend resetting your current Synchronization settings (on the Blackberry Desktop Manager) to ensure the proper steps are taken. To do this, follow the steps below:
    -Connect the device to the computer using the USB cable / cradle.
    -Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
    -Click on Synchronize
    -Click on Synchronization on the left hand side
    -Click the “Reset configuration” button.
    The article below is the step by step set up for your synchronization with Yahoo. The article will show Calendar on step 6 and Outlook on step 7. Change this to Contacts on step 6 and Yahoo on step 7.Replace Outlook with Yahoo following the remaining steps.

    Hey, I forgot my password for my BB I.D account and when it asks me my security question I type in my answer and it's not accepting it so I can't change my password, How do I sort my I.D issues and just reset the whole thing?!

    for the both the password and secret question, make certain you have any uppercase character correct.
    You have to remember either the BlackBerryID password, or the secret question answer. Without either, you're stuck.
    Your choices are:
    --Use another email account to create an entirely new BlackBerryID (with which you will lose access to any purchased apps using the "forgotten" first BlackBerryID, or
    --Find the initial email you were sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID, and in it is a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on that, delete the account and then you can use that same email to create an entirely new account.

  • Blackberry 9780 Resetting

    Hi,
    My 9780 roughly every few weeks seems to 'reset' itself.....basically the screen goes Black, a white line at the bottom of the screen gradually increases & then it starts working again.
    All my contacts, messages etc are still fine BUT my Ringtone/message setting have changed.......fine if i notice the phone doing this so i can change it back but i have missed calls etc if i have not!!!!!
    Any ideas most welcome,

  • Connection Reset issue in Weblogic 8.1

    We have an application running on weblogic 8.1. Please let men explain the steps that we carried out:
    1. A new user was being enrolled through the applciation.
    2. To make the connection object the value of the properties DriverClass, ConnectionURL, UserId and Password was obtained from the config.xml.
    3. preparedStatement.executeUpdate() inserted data in the database.
    This works fine initially but when i leave the system idle for an hour or so and then try to access the application we get an error:

    For those interested, I have some updates on this subject and someone out there sent me a mail asking if I ever found anything out.
    Basically, when I encountered this issue the first time, I was working on a SP2 Portal. We were having numerous small bugs like this one with SP2 that centered around the back button or refresh button. BEA gave us a "super patch" back in July or so that when applied to our SP2 project, fixed our issue. I have sense moved onto SP3, and I did not see the compression issue (so I think SP3 must have the patches correctly setup...like I would assume it would).

    I would like to report an issue with the Adobe Reader app for the BlackBerry PlayBook which renders the application fully unusable. This issue occurs everytime. This issue has been tested and verified to occur in two distinct BlackBerry PlayBook devices.
    Here is a screenshot stating what version (10.0.3.325) of the Adobe Reader app I have installed:
    This, I understand, is the latest version for my platform. Unfortunately, the application does not start. Attempting to run it results in a blank screen after showing the BlackBerry logo. The blank screen can be seen in the following screenshot:
    It is also strange that the application does not appear in the Application Permissions list, as seen in the following screenshot:
    Is there a fix for this showstopping issue? What steps should I take?

    Same issue here.  Playbook support knows about it, and referred to Adobe.  The Adobe forum has this comment.  Looks like our Playbooks are abandoned as a platform.

  • Password Reset Issue in Portal

    Hi All,
    Please help me to resolve this issue.
    Issue : We have resetted a password for one srm user in Portal. The User when he tried to login after the password reset initially it was asked to change the password. User changed the password. He is succesfully logged into the portal. Now the problem is when he tries to access a srm work item in worklist it is opening a new window and asking to reset the password again with the error message "No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password & This is an initial password that must be changed". It is not asking to change when he tries to login to portal and this error is promting only when he tries to open a work item. Because of this the user could not proceed to work further.
    Can any please let me know if faced with the same error.

    There are two solutions for this issue,
    1. Create a custom application which will change PWD in all the systems once you change your Portal PWD.
    2. Change the backend PWD before accessing UWL. (Login to backend system directly, it will ask for change of PWD).
