Blackberry issues with organization's Wifi

I am having problem with Wifi connection, when I try to connect my torch 9800 with office Wifi it does connect, but I can not browse. Office Internet is using Proxy Server and user authentication method, but I do not see any place in my BB to put the proxy server and user authentication options.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

Verify that the Proxy information has been entered correctly in the Wi-Fi setup on the BlackBerry PlayBook.
On the Connect to Wi-Fi screen, Click Manually Connect to Network.
Select the Security Type and settings for the enterprise Wi-Fi network
Ensure Use HTTP Proxy is checked
Enter the correct Proxy information (Proxy Server, Proxy Port, Username, and Password).

Issues with broadcom 4313 wifi card on a samsung NP305

I'm currently having issues with getting the wifi to work on my broadcom 4313 wifi card on a Samsung NP305U1A. The command
lspci -vnn | grep 14e4
returns 14e4:4727, so according to the wiki, I chose the "brcmsmac" driver. I blacklisted correctly b43, bcma in the /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf file, rebuilded the mkinitpcio image, so when I type lsmod now, the only wifi modules loaded in my kernel are :
brcmsmac 569864 0
mac80211 221981 1 brcmsmac
brcmutil 6912 1 brcmsmac
cfg80211 165796 2 brcmsmac, mac80211
I still don't see the wlan0 appearing when I type ifconfig though.
Would you have any advices?

Hi everybody!
I've found a solution for this problem (at LinLap, see pierre comment on Feb-24-2012) and it worked for my Linux Mint installation. On " /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf" I didn't have the "blacklist b43" line, it was only on a previous comment line, but I commented the next line (it was similar) and added the same blacklist at end of file.
Uninstall the 'Broadcom Sta' driver
Open the file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
Delete the line:
blacklist b43
Add these two lines at the end of the file:
blacklist bcma
blacklist brcmsmac
Save and exit
Type:
sudo apt-get remove –purge bcmwl-kernel-source
Reboot
Type:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source
Reboot
Select the 'Broadcom Sta' driver

Issues with Organizational Model in CRM

           We are implementing CRM 5.0 and I generated Organizational Model in system using Report: CRM_ORGMAN_R3_ORGDATA_GENERATE. This report generated organizational model with no errors. But there is a issue with org model:
In our R/3 system same sales office are assigned to multiple sales area and same salesgroups are assigned to multiple sales office due to this in CRM when the org model generated it only assigned the sales office and sales group to sales org 1000 however sales org 2000 and 3000 left unassigned.
eg:
R/3:
Sales office assigned to
sales area: 1000   10   10
                       001
                       002
                       003
                 2000   10   10
                      001
                      002
                      003
And after generation in CRM:
Sales org: 1000
                  sales office: 001
                                    002
                                    003
Sales org: 2000
                   no sales office or sales org assigned.
When I am trying to create it manually then it gives me an error: "attribute_R/3_SA_ORG with value xyx already assigned".
Did anybody faced similar issue?
I even ran the report for to change the org model to enhanced version but it didnt helped.
Please give your suggestions.

Hi Ankit,
Its common that the sales office are only assigned to the first sales organiz unit in
CRM structure in PPOMA_CRM. The same for the sales groups that are only assigned under the first sales office unit in CRM structure in PPOMA_CRM.
No mather, the important thing is that under Function tab > Sales office tab, for a sales office, the system has all the possible combinations for R/3 sales org, R/3distribution channel and R/3 division.
And the same under Function tab > Sales group tab, for a sales group, that must contain the possible combinations for R/3 sales org, R/3 sales office, R/3distribution channel and R/3 division.
In this way, you have the structure like:
SALESORG1001
   SALESOFFICE 1100
       SALESGROUP 100
   SALESOFFICE 1200
   SALESOFFICE 1300
SALESORG1002
SALESORG1003
But inside SALESOFFICE 1100 details you have something like:
Sales office tab:
R3 sales org | R3 DC | R3 Div
1001              10         01
1002              10         01
1003              10         01
And under Sales Group 100 you have something like:
Sales group tab:
R3 sales org | R3 Sales Office | R3 DC | R3 Div
1001              1100                  10         01

Blackberry issues with WebDynpro application

We are testing a webdynpro application via a blackberry. The webdynpro application works fine from IE. With the blackberry, we see the following:
- User logs into the application. After user's first access attempt, they no longer have to log in. We even turn off the Blackberry and restart. The same issue occurs.
- User executes a line item transaction in the Blackberry. This item executes fine. However, we get a communication error on the next lineitem.
Is there Blackberry Browser and/or Blackberry server settings that need to be applied to allow the sessions and WebDynpro communication to work properly?

Issue with organizations delete

Hi
I have created an organization XXXXXX in OIM 11g and latter i tried to delete the same. OIM displayed a message saying that an error has occured and could not delete the org, though before deleting this org i have deleted all the users and resources assigned to this org.
after a restart of OIM server i am unable to find the organization through admin console and when i try to create an org with the same name OIM says that orgnization already exists.
did anyone faced such issue... ? why this happening

Yes, OIM does not allow you to delete neither users, nor organizations in DB. It just marks it as 'Deleted'. Because IMHO, being able to revert object creation in DB is VERY useful while you are implementing OIM in a test environment, I've developed a tool capable of creating and cascade deleting any OIM object, including users, resources and organizational trees. Write me if you want to know more about the tool.

Anyone still having issues with connecting to wifi since updating to IOS 6.1.1 (iPhone 4S)?

It worked for about 5 mins every 40 mins up until 12 hours after updating the software. The wifi is greyed out (can't turn on or off) now, and I am becoming rather frustrated with this as I have been without internet for at least a week now, with my work relying heavily upon internet access. Any help would be great, I have done the hard reset, a normal shut-down, and I have restored my iPhone twice now and still no change. ANY help would be fantastic!

I'm having the exact same problem! However, mine hasn't worked at all even after resetting network settings, restoring phone from back up and as a new iPhone, drained the battery and turned the phone on and off. I am really angry because apple released an update yesterday to fix bugs specifically on iPhone 4S and it has done nothing. My idea would be to book an appointment with your local apple store. I have one on Saturday and hopefully they will replace the phone as I am still under warranty. If you're not still under warranty I think it'll cost you some money, which ***** because its apples fault.

What would make my iTouch have issues with connecting to wifi?

It has been working fine all over the house, but now I am confined to 5 feet near the router. This problem happens in multiple areas, where a laptop can connect fine. I've done both hard and soft resets. I have not restored the iPod back to factory settings, adn I'm hoping that I do not have to.
This problem surfaced quite literally overnight.

No reason this shouldn't work.
Give each AppleTv a different name under Settings in case this confuses itunes, but if it's not connected to the router in the first place that won't help.
I would suggest:
1 - restarting router and powering off/repowering AppleTV
2 - if still not working replace working AppleTV with non-working one to check if it's a location related issue due to poor wi-fi signal. If still not working maybe it's faulty.

If you can go to Settings/WiFi do you see any networks? Is the problem with one network or all networks?

Issues with creating a wifi hotspot with Macbook Pro

Hello. I am staying in a hotel with others for an extended period of time. There is only one ethernet port. I have previously used the ethernet via internet sharing to turn my macbook pro into a wifi hotspot. I went through the steps this time (checked, double-checked, and triple-checked via various websites), and though my computer says that it is broadcasting, AND all the other devices (iPhones, other laptops) can see and connect to the network, no internet seems to be coming through the broadcasted connection.
What I mean is, the network exists, and when others connect it shows full signal in their airports, etc, but they still can't connect to the internet. Pages won't load, my iphone tells me that it's "not connected to the internet" even though it has full wifi bars. Is there some important step that I'm missing? I am running Snow Leopard.
When I did this before, I feel like there was some other strange option I either had to enable or disable, but that was a long time ago and I can't recall. Right now, I just go into internet sharing, set "ethernet" as broadcasted from, and "airport" as broadcasted to, then I name the network and click "Start" and everything seems to work, except for the not actually being connected. Can anybody explain this?

I can indeed get on with just my Mac, as can my roommate (he also has a Macbook Pro). I have not tried turning off my firewall. That may do it. However, I do not know how to turn off my firewall. I could just google it, but I figure I'll ask y'all anyway.

Issues With My Home WiFi (please help!)

I have a 3 month old 16GB iPad. I bought it mainly for school, and so far it's been great. In order to use my school's WiFi, I had to go trough a series of login steps (Choose a Network/Other.../Security/WPA2 Enterprise/ Username-password/ etc); whenever I'm at school and wanna use the web, I just go to Safari and type in my username and password and done. The problem is when I come home after school and I try to use my own WiFi. It used to just automatically connect, but now it doesn't at all and when I go to settings, choose my network and type my password and click "join" it doesn't log in, but instead the same "Enter the password for newtwork" window pops up no matter how many times I enter my password. It's not the network, cuz I can connect perfectly on both my iPhone and my Macbook. The strange thing is that if I reset the iPad, it just automatically connects to my network as if nothing was wrong!
I don't know what to do or how to solve this...I'd deeply appreciate your input on this! Thanks!!

Facebook for Blackberry Issue with logging out

I am having a problem logging out of facebook on my Blackberry Curve 8530. Every time i click on log out it just says "Updating" and it just sits there. I take the battery out to reset, and when the phone comes back on, i'm STILL logged in. I shouldn't have to take the battery out. If I click logout, it should just logout. It's been this way for about a month now. So what can I do about this annoyance?????

Hi , your problem is arising when user presses the back button of the browser , web browser shows the page from its cache. If you want that
on pressing the back button users should not view the previous pages you must stop web browser from caching the page to its local memory.
It can be done by adding the following code in the jsp:root tag of jsf (.jspx) page.

Hi, Im using photoshop elements 12. Having an issue with organizer.

When I select the people tab, I do not see my people in stacks. -- I have identified the people in my photos.
Now whe I got to the upper right corner and select one or more stars in the ratings, the photos then appear stacked by person.
why does this occur. Can I fix so that the phtos appear even when i do not select a rating.

What I have noticed from document is that "the BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System integrates your organization's PBX phone system with the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server to extend desk phone features to BlackBerry devices". In other words you will need BlackBerry® Enterprise Server working as well for the system to function.
So I guess to install all it if you have only couple of BlackBerry phones is senseless.
I'm curious if it would be possible to use without BlackBerry® Enterprise Server having just simple client on the phone like Nokia Call Connect, for instance with Nokia E-series phones.

Blackberry sync with BB Manager / GW 8.01

I am syncing my calendar with my GroupWise calendar through the Desktop manager software and the usb connection. I totally wiped my curve back to factory defaults and every time I sync my calendar the reminder time is always at 500 minutes or longer.
any ideas?

This seems to be a problem that my users are experiencing as well. Here are three excerpts from Blackberry forum support thread describing the problem in detail and Blackberry's general attitude toward it. Some users on that thread also report this problem with GW7. A fix would be appreciated.

I recently updated from Groupwise 7 to Groupwise 8. I'm now having a problem when I sync my calander. The reminder time is being transfered from Groupwise as a time. It then gets entered in my device calander as minutes. So, if I have an apointment at 7:00 and set the reminder to 5 min before in Groupwise, and sync the device, the reminder time is set to 655 minutes before the event on the device. Anyone have any suggestions?

I did some research and it appears GroupWise client 8 is not a supported version with BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.7. I have attached a link below which should direct you to the release notes.
