Blackberry message format

After installing 'crunch sms' then uninstalling it after becoming annoyed with it, the message format has not changed back correctly. So now when i send messages they look like the blackberry messenger way. Is there an easy way to change it back to its original settin?

It would be helpful to know at least the model BlackBerry you have , and OS:
Look at Options > About, third line down beginning with a "v.4.xxx"

hey folks i've seen a bunch of guys asking this same question on another threads with no reply, is this a OS bug or something? from time to time i received SMS from my contacts and sometimes I am not able to open them and i got a message: "unable to open. message format not supported Symbian" even though i can read some text from the preview list.

Hi,
Using XI 7.0 SPS 12 I have a scenario Single Flat File->XI->Multiple Messages to ECC.
Due to an annoying limitation/bug in ECC we have to send workorders in to be processed as individual transactions. This means generating seperate calls to ECC from PI.
I've adjusted my message map (No BPM) to split the source messages out, but when it calls the XI adapter to send them to ECC I get the following:

I am generating multiple structures under
messages/message1/xx_my_structure_repeated_at_this_level
which gives the correct amount of payloads in moni.
I believe this error is because the http/idoc adapters dont go through the AE and it is the AE that splits the multiple messages into individual calls. Is there a clean workaround which doesnt involve BPM or intermediate writing to disk etc?

we have a problem when we call a web service PI (release 7.01 , SP 10), from legacy system : the PI system return this message : ADAPTER.JAVA_EXCEPTION ; - java.lang.Exception: no valid message format object found
For to test this scenario we use soapUI tool.
I tried the URL (... /XISOAPAdapter/HelperServlet?action=FindChannel ...) in IE and got the following response :

Did you check the page no 14 of the document which has the same problem - in problem analysis it has mentioned that check the URL as well as proxy setting of internet browser.
3) Try to create the ID objects manually (Sender Channel and Sender Agreement).....when we use the wizard a * gets introduced in the unfilled (unused) fields (party etc) ....however when manually created the unused fields are left blank.
4) Check if all the ID objects are available in SXI_CACHE.

Cannot select HTML message format in Active Sync - Treo 750

Hi -
When I configure active sync in Treo 750 device, I can select the message format as HTML but after the first sync the message format reverts to Plain Text, and it's now grayed out!
I would appreciate if anyone have a solution for this.

Very Delayed Update:
Whenever I upgraded my Treo 750 to WM6, I found in PROGRAMS "Proxy Manager" which is nothing but a box to select to "Force AT&T Proxy".
Whenever I have established an ActiveSync connection via Bluetooth with my internet connected laptop, I simply Un-Select the "Force AT&T Proxy" and any program (IE, Google Maps, email Send & Recieve, etc.) use the ActiveSynce Passthough.

Network message format error on Site Studio Designer

Hi all,
I am facing a very wierd issue in Site Studio. I have enabled accounts on the content server. When i use the content server User interface, i can check in any content using the standard check in form with or without specifying the account for it. In the case of Site Studio Designer, when i try to create a new asset/ content( basically check in anything) , it checks in the content successfully when the account metadata field is left blank. If the account field is specified, it gives me an error sayin :
Failed to check in file from location "".
(Network message format error).
When i checked the content server logs, it says:
The request was not processed by the Service handler because of a protocol error.

Network message format error. GET request must have a QUERY_STRING value

I have installed new Content Server 10gR on my laptop.
Web Server is : Apache 2.2.4
DB is : Oracle 10g (Standard Edition)
Platform : Windows
CS is up & running. I am able to login and browse through content store. But when I try to perform any type of Submit operation anywhere in CS Portal ( for example "Updating My Profile and clicking on Submit" ) I get following error:
"Network message format error. GET request must have a QUERY_STRING value (the CGI parameters on the URL) "
1. Does any one know why I am getting this ?
2. Is some configuration missing for Apache which connects Apache with CS ?
Below is the httpd.conf changes:

And after hitting Submit button on "My Profile" the URL becomes:
http://delrpatha76669.sapient.com:8989/idc/idcplg/
I guess part of URL gets truncated/missed etc and so we are getting this error ?
Any way to fix this ?

This issue is resolved.
Cause
- After installation when I started CS , I saw "D:\oracle\ucm\idc\weblayout\idcplg" folder missing error in logs. Reason why I created this "idcplg" folder inside "weblayout" folder was because I thought it was not created during installation. I created this folder & copied "idc_cgi_isapi.dll" this file into it.. This was the issue
Fix
- I deleted the folder "D:\oracle\ucm\idc\weblayout\idcplg" and everything started working fine now.

I am doing the scenario File to IDoc ,picking the .CSV file from the FTP server .
The problem is that the file is picking fine from FTP ,but getting an error in SXMB_MONI as : Messages in multi message format can be sent to one adapter engine only. What could be the reason and how to rectify it . Please provide me the solution ASAP.

Im not sure what's the problem, but let's try to figure it out. First of all explain what do you mean by "it works very bad". Doest it hang, is it slow, is quality unacceptable.
Myself, I have one problem with JMF. When i run video & audio on my Centrino 1.4 GHz, it just takes 100% CPU! And of course quality becomes degraded. Check if you have something like this.

PI JMS Adapter MQ Message Format

Hi,
I know that if you change the target client in the JMS adapter properties il will change the message format for MQSTR (Websphere MQ Non-JMS) or MQRFH2 (JMS-Compliant).
But is there a way to force the MQ Message format to NONE or an empty string? The MQSTR is causing some unwanted conversion in legacy systems.

Hi Martin - I relize you've already answered, but as an fyi, my somewhat related requirement was to have the mqmd.format=MQIMS, instead of the value MQSTR that PI seems to default to.
I was able to achieve this by
(1) setting that Module JMSMessageType=bytes parm like you did, and
(2) set an additional parameter entry (i.e. on your 'Advanced' tab) of
JMS.Message.method.setStringProperty java.lang.String JMS_IBM_Format, java.lang.String MQIMS
(I think you need MQ7 libraries for this).

From the documentation it looks like only SOAP binding 1.1 is supported but nothing is mentioned about the supported message formats, e.g. Document literal (wrapped/bare), rpc-encoded, rpc-literal. etc. Does anybody know which are supported?

ApEx supports only RPC/literal style. The current support for Web services was designed to work with RPC style Web services nearly three years ago. We (
ApEx development/product management) are reviewing enhancement to more broadly support Web services and hope to have that support in a future release.
For the current support of Web services in Oracle Application Express, a design decision was made to support only WSDL’s that use the W3C XML Schema specification as it
is data type system. Just converting a Web service to RPC style is not all that is required to make it work properly with Application Express. It also must use the XML Schema specification as its data type system and prefix those type references, with the same prefix as the XML Schema reference in the definitions declaration in the WSDL.
Oracle Application Express expects type declarations to be fully qualified with the same prefix of the reference to the XML Schema specification as in the WSDL’s definitions declaration (http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema). If the WSDL contains type references that are not qualified with the prefix of the XML Schema specification, then editing the WSDL to include these type references with the corresponding prefix will allow Oracle Application Express to properly parse the WSDL.
Support for more loosely defined types is planned for a future release of Oracle Application Express.

Error "Message format corrupt" MMS sent from PC Su...

I have recently installed PC Suite 7.0.9.2. When I send an MMS my phone N95 8Gb says cannot send message, details " message-format-corrupt"? I have Pc Suite installed on an XP SP3 desktop and on a Vista Business Premium laptop. Doesn't work on either machine. Have tried uninstalling PC Suite and MMSSync on phone and reinstalling both to no effect. This seems to be a recurring problem with various versions of PC Suite which either Nokia seem oblivious to or don't care about.
Can anyone help?

Validating Dates in JSF using convertDateTime an overriding message format

Have seen a way to validate dates with this kind of code snippet:
 <h:inputText id="departDate"

This results in an ugly default error message when things go wrong like so:
j_id_jsp_1447383442_1:departDate: 'a' could not be understood as a date. Example: 28/02/08
Is there a way I can override this by using some sort of message placeholder, so I get a message like:
*"Depart Date 's' is invalid"*
So placeholder message would be *"[0} {1} is invalid"*, where parm *0* would be *"Depart Date"* and parm *1* would be value *"#{flight.departDate}"*.
I know you can resort to a full blown custom converter class, but I was wondering if I could put a message formatted with placeholders directly into the code snippet.
Is this feasible?

After several more iterations of testing, I discovered the problem is actually due to using the trinidad rendering kit. Part of my migration to 1.2 involved experimenting with the use of the trinidad components. I thought I had removed all the trinidad stuff from my application during testing of this date problem, but I discovered that I had left the following in:
web-app library: trinidad-1.2.10
faces-config.xml entry:
 <default-render-kit-id>
 org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.core
 </default-render-kit-id>once these items were removed, the application worked as expected. So it looks like the problem is with the trinidad rendering kit/library.
