Blackberry Messanger unable to update

I am unable to download Messenger 7 as 1. my shortcut to Appworld has disappeared and 2. when I attempt to download via the browser I receive an error message that my operating system is not supported. I have tried all the normal deletes, reloads and reboots, tried to have my OS updated to OS7 to no avail and eventually reloaded the carrier operator software. The same problems still persist no appworld, although it listed is in applications management and either a bad request reply to the browser page or operating system not supported. I have also attempted to download both via my PC to no avail.

    I have been experiencing a number of errors with blackberry messanger since i updated it to the latest version 10.1.0.59. it gets stuck and i cant easily send messages. also, i am no longer able to change my DP or status. its so annoying and i wish i hadnt updated it to this new retarted version. 
    i had to delete everything from my device and recreate a new blackberry ID to solve this the first time! i am not willing to do that again! could you please let us know how we can solve this issue with bbm? its urgent 

    I understand where your coming from! 
    That is odd once you reload your OS you should be able to just sign in your previous ID also no need for you create a new one or you can have back up settings on from BB LINK

    I have BB 9900.
    I have registered for a Blackberry ID.
    I have registered on Blackberry World.
    I can download apps to my phone when my phone is connected to the computer.
    When I try to enter by Blackberry ID on my phone I get the message : Unable to update blackberry ID account information while offline
    The Blackberry Internet status is not connected - and I cannot see how to connect it.
    If I try to download an app from my phone I get the message : no cached credentials
    How do I enter my Blackberry ID on my phone?

    You have to Activate BlackBerry Data Plan / BIS on your account, It will allow you to add your BlackBerry ID on your phone and will allow you to use all BlackBerry Service over your Mobile Network . Please call your Carrier or Mobile service provider they can add it on your account.

  • Unable to update my BlackBerry Z30 to 10.3.1 in Pakistan

    Hi there. I have been using the BlackBerry Z30 smartphone for almost a year now. I purchased this phone unlocked and carrier-free, but not from ShopBlackBerry, but rather a local online retailer selling brand new unlocked smartphones. I am on Telenor Pakistan network and have been using it for more than five years now (previously also on BlackBerry devices such as Bold 9000 and Torch 9810). As we all know that the BlackBerry 10.3.1 OS software updated was rolled out globally almost three days ago, on February 19th. Well, I must ask what may be the possible reason that I have not received this much personally-anticipated update on my device on Telenor Pakistan? I have been eagerly waiting for this update for many months now. I must inform that I only prefer official updates on my phones, and have also solely relied on official OS roll outs. That is the reason why I have never installed any "leaked" versions of the 10.3 or 10.3.1 on my phone in the past. So why am I not able to get this update? I am presently stuck on 10.2.1.3062. Whenever I check the latest update using the "Software Update" option, it keeps saying that I have the latest update. I also have the auto update option turned to on, but still no notification in the BlackBerry Hub prompting me to update my OS to 10.3.1. So very disappointed and unhappy. When I called my carrier, they said that the update is pushed by BlackBerry servers and they are not the one to blame. They said that everthing is green at their end and as soon as BlackBerry themselves push the update, I shall receive it in no time. Can anyone guide me on the reasons for this prolonged delay and when can I expect to receive this coveted update on my Z30? It has been three days and many people around the world are already enjoying this update as of I write this.

    Try removing the sim card and rebooting the device and see if you can get the update that way. The OS was rolled out globally but only for the carriers who have released it. Sometimes removing the sim will get you the update. Also, using a sim from someone who did get the update will also get you the update.

    Each wireless provider determines which versions of BlackBerry® Device Software is available for each device they release. To ensure you have the latest version of software avaialble for you BlackBerry® smartphone from your provider, plug it into your PC and go to www.blackberry.com/update. 
    If, when checking for updates, it indicates there are no updates available, this means you have the latest version of software released by your provider for your device.

    Yes it might be the reason , you can try a manual update just downloading the OS file from your Carrier and install it on your personal PC or laptop ,Do a complete backup using BlackBerry Desktop software then disconnect your internet from the pc then use loader.exe to load the new OS to your device, try it this way :
    1.Locate your Carrier and Download the OS you desire from here and Install it in your PC or Laptop Carriers
    (make sure you are downloading for the same model as you have )
    2. Download and install the latest BlackBerry desktop software from here BlackBerry desktop software
        Then using desktop software perform your full backup of your device.   
    KB12487 :  How  backup BlackBerry smartphone Data using BlackBerry desktop software for Windows.
    3.Search your C: drive for Vendor.xml and delete them, there may be one or two vendor.xml ( On your Pc change your folders option to show hidden files/folders ) You can Skip step  3 if you are using your carrier OS pack :
        C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
        C:\Users\Windows UserName\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
    4. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For 64-bit Vista or Windows 7, the path       will be C: > Program Files x86 > Common Files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double click Loader.exe. 
          Upgrade will continue then After Installation of New OS restore your backup from BlackBerry desktop
    Software.

  • Unable to update my os

    Hi,
    I am unable to update the OS on my Macbook Pro. It says restart required. After restarting nothing happens and the system still shows one updating pending.

  • After Factory Reset: Facing Errror ID 30702/Unable to update BB ID account

    and got it resolved via a Factory Reset.
     But after a few days of use and rebooted a few times due to installation of apps, I have this new problem:
    op up error message: "There is an issue with the current session. Please login to continue. (Error ID: 30702)"
    and
    When trying to view my BlackBerry ID Account through the "Device",  "Unable to update your BlackBerry ID account information.
    The only good thing is that I can still access the apps by clicking on the "Apps" icon at once I enter BlackBerry App World.

  • Unable to update bbm.

    My blackberry phone is unable to update its blackberry messenger version to the latest one. Mine is running version 5.0 and am having a hard time having it udpated since the blackberry desktop software does not have any option of having it performed. The blackberry software only displays the bbm application as grayed out but does not provide a plus sign or anything that will tell me that it can be updated. I tried logging into the bb appworld but everytime I download it, the site says its already installed. I tried doing it wirelessly but my connection keeps on timing out, is there another way of updating it through my pc? thanks, I wil greatly appreciate your feedbacks on this.

  • OSX: Adobe Creative Cloud unable to update (stall at 50%)

    Hey experts,
    ever since signing up for Creative Cloud I have been unable to update any application as my regular user on OSX. After exchanging 23 emails with the Adobe support in 2013 I finally gave up and created a workaround in the hope that the Adobe developers would finally look into the issue and fix the bug. With the last update of Creative Cloud my workaround stopped working so I took time to do a complete reinstallation of Creative Cloud to see if the bug was finally fixed. It was not.
    The bug:
    -Installation of Creative Cloud and Photoshop, Lightroom etc. through the Creative Cloud app works.
    -Any try to update a CC applicaton (e. g. Photoshop CC 2014 results in the state "waiting" at 50%):
    -Trying to update through the menu of Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 "Aktualisierungen"
    resulted in the following error message:
    Translation: "Update failed. Unable to apply updates. Adobe Application manager is already running. Close all instances of Adobe Application Manager before applying updates. etc."
    What I tried to resolve the problem:
    What did not work:
    -Complete reinstallation of Creative Cloud:
         -Uninstall of all Adobe applications
         -Ran the Adobe CC Cleaner tool
         -Eliminated every single *[Aa]dobe*-folder on my disk including my profile.
         -Reboot
         -Re-installation using a fresh CC download.
    -The common 1st-level-support acts of desperation:
         -Rebooting
         -Checking the file system
         -Fixing permissions
    -The bug even survived 2 OSX system upgrades
    -Even tried to track down the bug myself which I gave up after having discovered the endless chain of Creative Cloud and AAM-Processes executing each other...
    What worked:
    -Installing updates as another OSX user. (Which is cumbersome and to be honest I am unwilling to create a new profile and redoing the settings of all installed (especially non-Adobe) applications because of an Adobe bug...)
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • I am unable to update  apps on my iPhone 5.

    I am unable to update my apps on my iPhone 5. As I select the update button it asks for my password but the goes back to like it was. I have already rebooted a couple of times & even logged out & signed back into my iCloud, iTunes & App store. Nothing worked. But, I am still able to download new apps.
    Please tell me what can I do now to update my apps. All suggestions will be appreciated.

Have had no problems until recently when I was unable to update apps and then noticed that some apps would open but no data would be available in apps like intelicast and Pinterest. I have restored the iPad and now I am unable to download any of my previously purchased apps.

    1. Make sure iPad is using the latest software
    2. Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
    3. Make sure Time Zone is correct
    4. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.
