I get this email repeatedly. I just had to get a new phone due to problems with my other 8830. But I never had this with the other phone. The main thing is I can't add any contacts. They dont even get a message from me asking to add them.

BlackBerry Messanger contact not adding

I have BlackBerry Messanger 4.5.0 on my Blackberry pearl 8130. I have not been using BBM very long but up until now I have had no problems. for adding contacts in BBM i have been adding people my self but when other people started adding me (they were putting in my PIN into their BBM) i have started to have problems.
I have had at least 2 people request to add me as a contact and I have accepted their request but then they don't appear on my contact list. when i open the request message it reads " From: (the person's PIN) (the person's name) would like to add you to his or her Blackberry Messanger Contact List" and the options are to Accept, Decline, Remove or Cancel. I pressed Accept and it confirms it but then that person doesn't appear on my contact list in BBM. why is this? do i have to add them myself as well for them to appear on my contact list?

My blackberry Messanger doesnt work properly and my dp wont chage

I have been experiencing a number of errors with blackberry messanger since i updated it to the latest version 10.1.0.59. it gets stuck and i cant easily send messages. also, i am no longer able to change my DP or status. its so annoying and i wish i hadnt updated it to this new retarted version.
i had to delete everything from my device and recreate a new blackberry ID to solve this the first time! i am not willing to do that again! could you please let us know how we can solve this issue with bbm? its urgent

That is odd once you reload your OS you should be able to just sign in your previous ID also no need for you create a new one or you can have back up settings on from BB LINK

Blackberry Messanger Deleted

I couldnt add a contact to BB messanger. I called Sprint for support and they told me to delete BB Messanger. I have tried a million things to add it back. How do I update the software on the device when it has the latest software? I installed the lastest Desktop manager and its not there either. Can someone tell me how to get it back on my BB.

First make sure that you can send back and forth PIN to PIN messages to each other.
When they add you as a contact you'll get a message that someone wants to add you as a contact and that you need to approve it.
To add a contact to the BlackBerry Messenger Contacts list, complete the following:

Blackberry Messanger unable to update

I am unable to download Messenger 7 as 1. my shortcut to Appworld has disappeared and 2. when I attempt to download via the browser I receive an error message that my operating system is not supported. I have tried all the normal deletes, reloads and reboots, tried to have my OS updated to OS7 to no avail and eventually reloaded the carrier operator software. The same problems still persist no appworld, although it listed is in applications management and either a bad request reply to the browser page or operating system not supported. I have also attempted to download both via my PC to no avail.

Blackberry Messenger only works at certain times of day.

The next time your BBMessenger is NOT working, check On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status. What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service at that time?

Blackberry Storms Junk

I have had this blackberry for almost 2 years and now I am having so many problems with it. Everytime I call customer service tells me to upgrade. WHY, why should I pay for another phone? Shouldn't they be the one's to replace this one first? First problem; phone freezing up all the time- however this that took 3 trips to the nearest Verzion store which is 50 mins away. Mind you there is always a wait, then customer service makes you feel like it is all a figment of your imagination. After 3 trips I was given a phone number to call and they replaced my phone. Not even 2 days later that phone begun with similiar problems. Customer service did a reset, complete reset over the phone, this wiped everything out. Now the phone will only ring once, if I am lucky for it to ring at all, when recieving a call, my test messages take several minutes to send and recieve, my blackberry messanger isn't working properly and the only way I can recieve a text is have Blackberry Messanger installed. CRAZY!! Yeah like I am going to upgrade or renew. Verizon customer service is horrible as well as the Blackberry Storm!

Point eight is exactly on the point. My biggest dissapointment after purchase of Blackberry Bold 9900 OS7. Opera Mini works well as a substitute, but it is not possible to make it a default browser and for me not alawys awailable as a choice of browser when pressing on a link either.

Bbm contact pictures not displaying

i have a problem where i cant see my contacts' updated pictures and they can't see mine. i tried solving this by deleting and reinstalling blackberry messenger, but now i can't see even the old pics! it just shows the blackberry messenger default picture. PLEEEEASE can someone help me?

Strange Message Notification Icon

A few days ago a new message notification icon appeared on my screen that I had not seen before. It is a Happy Face with a red star in the upper left. I cannot find any open or unread messages and cannot get the icon to go away. What am I missing?

Problem with email setup.

Hello Im new to the forums. I got an unlocked Blackberry 8310 curve for Christmas everythings working fine except Im having problems setting my email account up, using the net and using Blackberry messanger. Do I need to download anyblackberry software to make this work? Or does anyone have a number so I can get in touch with Blackberry?

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
You must, in order to get the RIM push email functions you are looking for, as well as addtional BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more.
So, call your carrier an inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.
