Blackberry Messenger, unable to view others' replies

I've had my phone working for about a week now. It's a Curve 8320. I've noticed that yesterday and today there is a BB Messenge icon and when I check the messages I can see the first few words of the message but am unable to view the remaining text. Also when I open up BB Messenger, I only see my comments and not those of my contacts. I know I have a message because of the red blinking light but for whatever reason, I'm unable to view their messages. Has anybody else had any similar experiences with their BB Messenger or have any suggestions to get it to work properly.
I have a 4GB Micro SD card.

I have the same issue with my blackberry messenger - it only started a few weeks ago, but no incoming messages can be read.
I can sit next to my gf and send her messages, but I only see the first 4 characters of my received messages in the initial message list and then can't read messages in BB messenger.
Any ideas on fixing this?

It syncs fine, with the exception of media sync, but the BB, when I connect it to the PC cannot view contents of BB nor can I sync media? Any thoughts? Would the syncing of media files and being unable to view the device on my PC, be a related issue?

Just to clarify, are you able to sync your organizer data successfully? (Contacts, Calendar etc.)
Are you able to access your BlackBerry media card from Computer/My Computer? Does it show up as a removable drive there? http://bbry.lv/pAvLOK

Unable to view other chart types for WAD

Hi gurus
Gotta ask for some help here. I manage to design my queries and web templates, and get the onto the Internet Explorer. However, I got a problem when displaying the chart items. I could only display the Bar Charts, and whenever I configure the chart to display Pie or Line, or any other charts, it will still default to the Bar Charts. I can never display other charts other than the Bar Chart.
Does anyone know if I missed out something in my config, or does the IGS needs to be installed to fully include other chart configs? I have attached here the list of Registered_types for the IGS server.
Please let me know, as we do need pie and line charts in our web templates.

Unable to view picture

Please help...every time I click help icon in my blackberry pearl unable to view >>Error starting net_rim_bb_hel p:Module'net_rim_ecmas cript' not found..... and also the picture every time I view the picture unable to display file /media Card/Blackberry/pictures/ and is they same with music. First, try a simple reboot:
With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
Try all those again, and if the issues persist, please post back here in this thread.

Unable to see other schemas in JDeveloper Connections Navigator

When I add a database to my Connections Navigator, only one Schema is visible under the DB. I am unable to view other schemas to which the user has access.

Note please that this is intended solely for OTA synchronization between your BB and your server...what happens between your server and your MAC is completely a separate matter. On the other hand, if you truly meant to ask about USB sync via LINK, then that's yet another separate matter.

Unable to open Blackberry Messenger Conversations

I can't open my Blackberry Messenger Conversations! When a friend sends me a message, I can the message in my mailbox, but am unable to open it... when I try to open it I'm relocated to the messenger conversation that I last sent my friend, but unable to see/open their response.
Also, I'm unable to add any contacts to my BBerry Messenger... when I try to add a contact, I'm taken to my address book. When I try to select a contact to add I do not have the option to "Request by Email" or "Request by PIN."
Help! This is so frustrating!

I am getting the same problems as well, although my BBM was working fine up to a week ago when my Blackberry dumped all my messages due to storage overcapacity. I have resolved this since by deleting unwanted files such as photos.
Did you get any solutions to this problem as it is annoying as I can only read the last sentence of the conversation?

Are you using the Facebook app? Contact the developer.
Or, try deleting the App and then redownloading it.

Cannot use Blackberry App World or Blackberry Messenger

I have a Torch 9800 and I have downloaded App World and Messenger but they do not appear anywhere on the phone. I can see them in my applications list, but no icon and not visible on the home screen.
How do I get these to work?

If you are having trouble locating BlackBerry World as well as BlackBerry Messenger , then :
For BlackBerry App World :
If you device OS is prior to 6.0.0.706 then try Updating your device software or Download BlackBerry World version 4.0.0.55 which is the best workaround now available for BlackBerry World also uninstall BlackBerry world from Options > Device > Application Management > Locate and delete BlackBerry World , then perform another Battery pull restart .
Then From your BlackBerry Browser browse to http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=appworld3 to download version 4.0.0.55 . In addition check this Knowledge Base for further help :
KB29422 BlackBerry App World icon is missing after upgrading to BlackBerry App World 4.0.0.63 to 4.0.0.65.
For BBM :
On your Homescreen Go to Options > Device Application Management > Locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from there. After deleting do a Battery Pull Restart like this device POWERED ON remove the battery wait a min. then re-insert it back . After reboot from your BlackBerry Browser browse or Click here www.blackberry.com/bbm and download the most recent available for your device . If device prompt for a restart do it .If still unable to view BBM icon on your Homescreen check this Knowledge Base :

Please try those steps and let us know also perform a Battery pull restart after each install.

BlackBerry Messenger version 7.0.1.23 Fault

I have a BlackBerry 9360 (3G, Wi-Fi), 7.1 bundle 1717 (v7.1.0.569, Platform 9.6.0.86), BlackBerry Messenger version 7.0.1.23
The team originally had the version of BlackBerry OS 6 operating system, for months to upgrade to the latest available for the team that is the Blackberry OS 7.1.
Apparently the problem started when upgrading BlackBerry Messenger to the latest version (7.0.1.23), I installed it through the BlackBerry App World for my team.
The team has about 6 months of use working perfectly, until recently that within BlackBerry Messenger application does not update the profile picture. I tried everything to fix it, between this I:
1. Off and removed the battery long enough, the problem is solved partly because after the smart phone turns on the changing profile picture (but only sometimes), and when it does, it only once since before a second consecutive update the problem recurs, have to repeat the procedure.
2. I deleted and reinstalled the application without any success.
3. Reset the entire smart phone and reinstalled all applications again, without success.
4. I've used all sorts of different connections (including 3G, 2G, Wifi) and in all alike the same problem.
5. registered the BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network, and also sent the service books through the application of e-mail settings on your smartphone. (Without success)
I would like to help me find a solution without resorting to absurd solutions like:
1. delete all contacts and add them one by one again, since I have 300 contacts! and that's not humanly possible, also a risk that after adding back the problem recurring.
2. get the battery every time you want to change my profile picture, (I do not buy a phone to get the battery every time you change a simple photo)
3. nor reset the phone, update or delete the application because as I said I already did and did not solve the problem.
otherwise I can not back up my contacts and I have the latest version of MSN BB and this does not bring this option, since all contact data is automatically saved in the cloud of my ID.
*** At first I thought it was just a glitch in the profile picture, but then I realized that after pulling off the battery did not keep him to publishing the names of my contacts, and the contacts reappeared I had removed, ie there is a problem with the transmission of data from my device to my cloud data of my ID, ie these are not synchronized properly and changes made by me (as the profile picture and editing contacts) not saved, strangely I have no problem with sending messages from my contacts in BlackBerry Messenger, I can normally chat with them, nor do I have a problem with any other application or with the transmission and receipt of data from the device. ***

If you're having problem with recent update , you can try reinstalling it again cleanly , but first On your Homescreen Go to Options > Device Application Management > Locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from there.
KB10040 : How to view or remove installed application on a blackberry smartphone
After deleting perform a battery pull restart by removing the Battery while is device is POWERED ON , wait a min. then re-insert it back . let your device takes a long reboot , finally from your BlackBerry Browser browse to www.blackberry.com/bbm and download the most recent version available for your device .After reinstalling see if that helps
Please Note :
If you're having BBM7 then your BBM Contacts are integrated with your BlackBerry ID , after installing when you login with your BlackBerry ID your Contacts will be restored back , but if you're having any previous persion then first do a local backup , you can backup in your Media card, refer to this KB for further help:

Am running on version 2.1.0.87: o/s XP: nokia 5800 :   when I sync with my phone all records transfer but I am unable to view my pictures or album art on ovi suite, just see grey default image . As with all things of this nature, no software vendor can forever remain compatible with every historical PC platform...XPSP2 has indeed been dropped from compatibility with the current version of the RIM Desktop Software. Your choices are:
Update to XPSP3 (which, if I recall correctly, is completely free)
Fall back to a version of the Desktop Software that is compatible with XPSP2...you can find older versions here:

Sorry, but I no longer recall exactly which versions support which XP levels...you will have to do some experimenting I suspect.

Unable to View SMS, Error- Uncaught exception: Index 87 = 87

Hi
Pls help - I am unable to view my SMS (Both Sent and Received). Not getting any notification also. If i compose SMS after sending it disappears. And I am getting error -Uncaught exception: Index 87 >= 87 everytime i switch on the device. Not able to find the SMS in Messages>View Folder>SMS Inbox also. I have tried by wiping all applications, device has enough memory- 127MB. Even Checked Firewall... Pls help...

There are no specific Knowledge Base regarding the error Uncaught exception : index 87 >= 87 or similar, As you had already wiped or deleted all applications from your device but still error appearing so to rule out any software issue you can reload your Device OS ,but first do your device backup using BlackBerry Desktop Software,For further instruction please refer to this Knowledge Base :
KB11320 : How to perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry Device software using BlackBerry desktop software for windows.
After Reload restore your backup.I hope it will solve your issue.
