Blackberry.orange Email Address

When I used a Blackberry Bold 9900 I had a blackberry.orange email address that was cc'd into other email accounts. Since switching to the Q10 the address has been uncompatable with the new device.  I have been unable to access the email interface to remove this address again due to the fact that it is not compatable with the device etc.  The problem is that whenever anyone emails my other accounts they receive a fault message stating that the email could not be delivered.  Even though this only relates to the blackberry.orange account people don't realise this and so there is much confusion.
I have spoken with Blackberry staff - unhelpful and no resolve.  I have also spoken with Orange and EE and they both stated that the issue lies with Blackberry.
Any help or advice would be hugely appreciated, thanks in advance!
Paul

Ok. I guess I misunderstood your issue.
If your sender is getting an undeliverable error or something like that when they email to one of your other accounts, I'm not sure what you can do. You actually don't have that account, so there is nothing to delete. Think of the forwarding solution -- at least the way I think of it -- is though there is no longer an account, there is still BIS in operation, and when email is received at that address is will be forwarded to the address you provide, if you set it up. Doing so might help with your current issue, if it's not too late for you to do it.

  • How do I find my Blackberry ID email address?

I am getting totally frustrated as I am unable to register my email address on my Blackberry as I don't know my Blackberry ID email address, every link I have followed takes me to the registration page but you need the blackberry ID email address to register and I don't have this.

So, you signed up for a BlackBerry ID but don't recall what email address you used? If that's the case then you'll likely need to set up a new one with a different email address.
If you didn't yet sign up for a BlackBerry ID then simply use any email address you want to and use it to sign up for the BlackBerry ID.

  • Blackberry application email address troubleshooting

After i accepted the update for the bb application, it kept on asking me to reinsert my password whenever i wanted to go and download an application. i even asked for my password to be sent to my email thinking i forgot my password. then i spoke to a consultant at the vodacom call centre on 082 155. she suggested i delete my current email address by going to my initial email i got from blackberry re: my id. i deleted the id and now i cant download anything or update anything on my application centre. how do i reset that email address and use it again? its constantly saying "invalid id and password" i urgently need assistance with this.

Hello zainu and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
After you deleted the current BlackBerry ID from the welcome email, did you re-create a new BlackBerry ID?
If not, you can go to www.blackberry.com/blackberryid to get started.
Also, at the same site, you can verify your BlackBerry ID by logging in. If you are able to log in, try changing the password and then on your BlackBerry log in with the new one.
Let me know how you make out.
Thanks! And have a great day.

  • Z10 BBM account not associated with Blackberry ID email address

BBM was operating just fine until yesterday afternoon. I began receiving "BBM setup" prompt. The Blackberry ID is not being recognized which then throws an "email address not vaild" prompt. Then there is a "Temporary Server" error.
I have edited and adjusted my Blackberry ID as well as resetting the password. These changes seem to make it to the device itself, as indicated in the Settings/Blackberry ID field.
IF my contacts BBM me, I do see the entry in HUB (first line only). IF i try to reply, the BBM setup screen launches again - only to fail on the email address associated with the BB ID. All other BB services seem to be working fine.
It is disappointing to have issues like this with flagship software on a brand new device.
Any ideas on a fix for this?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I did not lose my contacts but my carrier support could not confirm prior to executing the above steps.
I believe the reason your carrier is handing off to Blackberry on this is because the Blackberry ID is managed by Blackberry, not the carrier (I am not 100% on this). As such, they can't authenticate the BBID. That can be handled directly by the user here: http://ca.blackberry.com/bbid.html. Permission issues are always a pain.
IF BBM won't behave following the solution that worked for me, I would call your carrier one more time and ask them to escalate the service tag to Blackberry. Without the service tag, its tough to get action. This allows the carrier to hand you off and creates the support trail needed for effective resolution. Push to get the service tag.
In my experience on this, there was enough "grey area" for all support techs involved that Blackberry would be well suited to increase the knowledge base/training/support  to provide a smoother resolution. When support tells the user that the main messaging platform, for the top end device, won't function and "there is nothing we can do about it", I believe the user has not been serviced appropriately.

  • How to access my old email address

i have just changed to btinternet from orange, I was told I could use my old email address, but I cannot access in btyahoo. l have also changed my computer which uses windows 7 that seems not to  support outlook express which I was using to access my emails. I have tried using Windows Live mail, but still cannot access my emails. Hi. Welcome to the forums.
My apologies, but it's not clear what particular email address you're having problems with - is it the BTinternet email address ?
Win7 doesn't use OE, but as you've found out you can use Windows Live Mail, and there are other mail client programs you can use such as Thunderbird, Opera and many other free ones.
The old Orange email address can be accessed in BTYahoo (webmail), but you need to got through a verification setup in order to access it via that method. However Windows Mail is possibly the best method.
However the Orange email address may well expire after a period of time, and eventually be cancelled. It may not allow for pop3 access - in other words not be access from something like Windows Mail.
If you are unable to send orange emails within Windows Mail, that's because you are on a different ISP and need to got through address verificaton (see my shortcuts option 0e). However this does need a working BTinternet email address.
If the problem is the Orange email through Windows Mail, then you need to make sure that you have the correct settings in order to receive the emails. Can you check the pop3/smtp servers in the Windows Mail account ?
Apologies if I've got a little technical and some jargon speak.

  • I want to create or add an email address- blackberry curve 3520

    Hi guys,
i am very new to nthe world of moden phones and emailing on them! but i am getting very fustrated that i have followed the instructions to add email to my phone and it does not provide me with the option needed! i have a blackberry curve 3520
on the instructions it says to
    I
On the email setup screen, select one of the following options:
I want to create or add an email address
    or
I want to use a work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server
i only get 'I want to use a work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server:' option appear on my phone!
Has anyone else had this problem or know how to solve it?
    Many thanks Helen

    Resend your service books.
    On OS 5.0 go to:
Options -> Advanced Options -> Host Routing Table -> Press your Menu Key -> Choose "Register Now"
It should say "Registration Message sent" and you should recieve a message from BlackBerry confirming that the device is registered on the BlackBerry network.
If you do not recieve a response, or get any other message when you choose Register Now, you may have a network provisioning issue and you need to call your wireless provider for them to perform a BIS check.

I am a very new purchaser of this Blackberry. Most things seem to be working just fine.
I have successfully set up my AOL email address so I am receiving AOL emails on the Blackberry. I also have my own domain name for use on my PC. I have tried adding that email address to the Blackberry but it is being rejected. Advice please.

You either aren't entering the password correctly or for some reason there is an error.

When someone replies to an email from my torch; only my address shows. For example, [email protected] when it needs to be Abc <[email protected]>

  • Validate Blackberry email address

    Good day everyone
I need assistance wrt the above subject line. I want to validate my email address, however I cannot remember my password and my recovery question answer as well. I've tried the information on the BB website but its still not working. Please help me.....

Hi and welcome to the forums!
If you know the email address and you can;t validate it, there's a chance you can change the information and retry the validate process. The attached link shows all the needed steps.
As far as forgetting the password and the recovery question as well, 3 strikes your out!
It pains me to have to suggest this but you'll have to call your wireless service provider.

  • Can't add blackberry email address

I got a device update from Verizon that wiped out my email accounts.  I couldn't add the blackberry email address associated with my device back to the phone because I don't know the password.  I created a new blackberry email address, but when I try to get updated in AppWorld it still wants the password from the old address.  When I request a password reset it sends the information to the old email address which I can't access because I don't know the password.
Does anyone know how to change the email address associated with my device OR how to have the password reset info sent to a different email address?

You didn't say, but are you ACTUALLY trying to enter the BlackBerryID on your device?
Read this for instructions to reset your BlackBerryID password:
KB26361How to reset a BlackBerry ID password
Is that what you need... or is this for an actual BlackBerry email address, such as "[email protected]"?

  • How to delete email address from blackberry 8530

does anyone know how to delete old users email address from my phone and add my email address

    Hello,
I think you have bigger problems. With a 2nd hand device, there are specific steps to take:
KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after buying a previously owned BlackBerry smartphone
I think you need to contact the former owner and have them perform their steps. Only then should you attempt your steps.
    Good luck!

  • Blackberry email address

okay I am going to ask a stupid question,  I just bought a blakberry tour 9630.  my carrier is sprint. I was trying to download the moble myspace app but it is asking me what is my blackberry E-Mail adress does anyone know how I can find out what it is .  I have my aol E-mail on my phone and my Gmail on it also.
    thanks
    Joe

You can use any email address you have pushed to your device, aol, gmail, yahoo or other.
You can create a [email protected] email address at your personal email setup where you setup the email addresses to push to your device, but I don't think that is what the myspace app is asking for.
