Blackberry Playbook Video Store Support

I am trying to create an account for the video store, but every time I try to register it sends me to a failed link. Both links for support/help do not work either. My camera has also stopped working AGAIN for the second time after an update! Please HELP!!!!!!!!

Playbook Video Store Connection Problem

Every time I have tried to connect to the Blackberry Video Store tonight, I get the error notice " Unable to contact the Video Store store. Your computer's time and date is set incorrectly. Please check your settings and restart the application."
My computer's time and date are correct. How can I connect to the Video Store?
Does this have anything to do with Daylight Saving Time which begins tonight?

i am having a very similar issue
i get the message:
"could not connect to the Video Store service. Please try again later"
has been doing this for 3 days now.
waited months for a video service and now it doesnt work

Blackberry playbook videos thumbnail explorer/file manager

Hi guys and sorry if i post it in the wrong section.
so when i am watching videos on my playbook, i can delete it very easly but there is no other option like rename,copy,move etc
aand i found some explorer that do this but the problem is i want explorer/ filemanager that can show videos thumbnail that i can see the thumbnail and deside to rename or move it.
sorry if it doesn't make sense

Blackberry Playbook Video Chat Connection Problems

Hi
trying to use the Video Chat App, i have found that almost that the app is not working 50% of the time due to the way it is designed.
Most corporate environment will provide a tight security on their network and are very unlikely to open their firewall to peer to peer applications.
considering that RIM always aimed at the corporate, this is rather disappointing.
Even if some companies were to open their firewall. there is no guarantee that the person you want to talk to will
i have this in home network, corporate network and some hotels HSIA and only succedeed to have it working on home network.
I hope that RIM is working on an alternative method of connection that do not require port opening on firewall.
Should someone from RIM read this, comments will be appreciated.

Thank you for your reply.
However, as it stand, I have not found one corporate network that allows by default Video Chat.
This means that all your corporate client (including ourselves) cannot use the application.
Other Web based application such as Skype, Messenger, both providing Audio and Video are working natively.
Wether a company decides to allow the use of those, or block those is then a matter of choice.
Providing a service to the Corporate Market that does not work, is in my opinion less than useful.
Great App... but cannot use it. as I will never know if our users are within a Wi-Fi network that will allow them to use it.
Imagine if BBM was in the same predicament.. Can only use it is port xx are opened.
Video Chat is the next level to BBM but cannot be used.
Our corporate users are travelling worldwide using a multitude of Wi-Fi network, and I cannot rely on this application for effective method of comminucation.
I sncerely hope that RIM will rethink the communication method, in a more transparent manner.

This site will allow you to register and submit your credit card information so that you can purchase or rent and download videos, but it does not check your location.
A word of warning, this site is a Rovi powered webstore that is only available in the US. Although you can register and submit your credit card information, if you live outside the US you will not be able to view their catalog, and you will not be able to download, rent, purchase, or redeem any titles or gift cards.

Video Download on Blackberry Playbook

I'm looking for an application to help me download any video to my Playbook. Any solutions please ?

No Direct support for BlackBerry PlayBook tablet - why not I just bought it?

I've just bought a playbook. It says it comes with complimentary technical support for 90 days form the date of purchase. I have attempted to register the device using the S/N number as required and I get the following:
Unfortunately, your BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet does not qualify for Complimentary Support. You can, however, get assistance using incident based support from Research In Motion.
Why? grrrrrrrrrrrr

It should be. The complimentary support is just for help setting it up.
If you visit http://blackberry.com/support and follow the link for PlayBook you should get a phone number you can call, and RIM support will be able to help you.

Help !! I recorded videos on my blackberry playbook but when I play them back on my mac they're mute, no audio.

I recorded videos on my blackberry playbook, however when I play those same videos on my playbook there is audio and video. When I play the videos on my Mac (Mac Mini, running Snow Leopard) the videos work fine except the audio is dropped. The strange thing is that up until about 3 weeks ago, I could play the video and audio on my Mac. Only videos recorded in the last 2 or 3 weeks will not play properly on my Mac
Does anyone know how to fix this ?!

What are you using to play the videos on your Mac, Quicktime X? Try VLC Media Player or MPlayer OS X Extended.

Hello, can you please let me know which department or person to send a Petition from Change.Org that has been signed by over 500 loyal BlackBerry PlayBook fans? I would just like to know the contact details or how a request such as this gets through. What channels for communication should be used.

When will blackberry playbook support Chinese(simplified) input?

I bought a blackberry playbook on Friday.,but i didn't found Tablet os support Chinese(simplified).How to solve the problem?

1. Prior to purchase you should have do some research. It is documented very well documented.
2. Wait for OS 2 for the tablet, february 2012.

Can I use a BlackBerry Playbook with iMovie?

Hello: Although I reckon I'm going to have to spend quite some familiarising myself with iMovie before making any serious attempts at recording/uploading,etc, I would like to know if I can use thr video- recording facility that's part of a BlackBerry Playbook I bought, in 2012 (it was almost a giveaway price in a store sale,even though I was then looking at buying an iPad.)

Check your Settings > Network Connections > Mobile Network > Network Technology to tell me what are your network choices listed as? 2G, 3G, etc?
You may need to get a new SIM card from Vodafone.
Has the one you have now worked for 3G?

Adobe Reader for the BlackBerry PlayBook Showstopping Issue: App does not start

Hello;
I would like to report an issue with the Adobe Reader app for the BlackBerry PlayBook which renders the application fully unusable. This issue occurs everytime. This issue has been tested and verified to occur in two distinct BlackBerry PlayBook devices.
Here is a screenshot stating what version (10.0.3.325) of the Adobe Reader app I have installed:
This, I understand, is the latest version for my platform. Unfortunately, the application does not start. Attempting to run it results in a blank screen after showing the BlackBerry logo. The blank screen can be seen in the following screenshot:
It is also strange that the application does not appear in the Application Permissions list, as seen in the following screenshot:
Is there a fix for this showstopping issue? What steps should I take?

Same issue here. Playbook support knows about it, and referred to Adobe. The Adobe forum has this comment. Looks like our Playbooks are abandoned as a platform.

Connect Mobile for RIM Blackberry Playbook hangs while trying to connect to server

We have Adobe Connect 8 (Multilanguage - Portuguese) installed on a server. Connect Mobile for RIM Blackberry Playbook hangs while trying to connect to the server. Hayward Drummond has posted a notice about Adobe Connect 8.1.2 that seems to solve this problem, known as BUG 2886745. I sucessfuly downloaded this update but I´m not sure if it is compatible with Adobe Connect 8 Multilanguage - Portuguese. Does anyone know something about it? I also need to first install version 8.1.1 in order to upgrade to 8.1.2, as remarked by Hayward. Does anyone know where can I download version 8.1.1 (Multlanguage - Portuguese)?

File Sharing on Blackberry Playbook

Hello,
Today i have been trying to share a video from my Playbook to my laptop. The file sharing is turned on on both devices, Device Manage for Blackberry is installed. The device shows up, But when i click on the Video Folder it says; this file is empty. Has anyone ever experienced this problem, and if so, Do you know how ot fix it?

why is it that skype does not work on the blackberry playbook? i have tried logging into skype through www.imo.com i actually get logged in but i am unable to make any calls or video calls. can someone help me, please, i have tried to get help from blackberry, but no luck. thank you.

No problem. Regarding an alternative tablet, I'd suggest going the Android route. Lots of flexibility and customization, plus of course apps are actually supported. The Nexus line might be a good choice, plus they get pure Android updates directly from the source. Even the 2012 Nexus 7 has the latest version of Android available OTA (Lollipop).
Flash on Android isn't officially supported but there's usually "an app for that", and there are workarounds to get Flash to work (albeit an outdated 11.x version, similar to the PB). For radio, you could use the TuneIn app and add your streams there. I can't comment on iPads/minis, but they'd probably do what you want them to, as well.
Speaking of apps, if you find Flash continues to be finicky on the PB for radio streaming, you could give Nobex a try. Not sure how many stations it has, but I remember it being one of the better apps on the PB when I used it.
