BlackBerry problem is stopping my BT Yahoo mail from working

Since the problems started with BB yesterday I have not been able to receive email using my BT Yahoo mail account. When I try I get this error message -
Server is busy. Another POP session may be active. Please try again later.
I am very frustrated that I can't access my emails and would like to know when this problem will be sorted out. I am assuming that BB is the other active session and that it is causing the problem.

That really helped thanks. But problem still persists as yahoo is still in Chinese when it comes to confirm, and I can't access my yahoo mail from iPad. Thanks for sorting out apps store and ITunes and games. It certainly have saved me valuable time.

You either remove your Yahoo email address from the device or you turn of the 'Mail' option for that account under Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

before i upgraded to 1.1.3 my iphone wouldnt send an email through yahoo, even if i threatened to flush it down the toilet (which i never would but it would irritate the crap out of me!!)!! now, my yahoo mail is working fine. has anyone else experienced this?

Its working for me too, but only if I actually log on to Yahoo mail via a Mac/PC every couple of days and send an email online. If I dont do that-push stops working.

Yahoo mail from website is freezing up on iPad2

I have been reading my Yahoo mail from the website as opposed to setting it up with my other email accounts. It was working fine on my iPad2 until 2 days ago, now it just sits there. I can see there are messages, but when I click on one it just "spins" and never shows the email. There are no attachments and the trash is empty so I have no exceeded my space limit. Any suggestions?

When you say it just "spins" - I am assuming that you mean that Safari is trying to load the page but it never takes place.
Have you checked your email using your computer to make sure that the problem is not on the Yahoo end?
You could try clearing Safari and see if that helps.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

It sounds like you might need to contact Yahoo! if you aren't able to setup your email account as a new account after deleting it.

Mail stopped picking up new mail from IMAP server [MDaemon]

I've been using Mail to pick up my mail from a number of different mail accounts (MobileMe, Gmail and work mail). Everything has worked fine until a couple of weeks ago when mail stopped picking up new mail from my work mail account.
I have tried deleting the mail account and setting it up again - all that did was to lose the cached mail on my machine, although it picked up the folders from the imap server and it's looking in the folders for mail [I can see that from the Activity Window]. It also seems not to delete everything as, when I went to set it up again, the email address field was already defaulted to the one for the account I had previously deleted.
I then tried creating a new user on my laptop and setting up the work mail account under this user. It worked perfectly - it went off and got all of the mail from the server (OK by me) and started picking up the mail OK.
So I'm guessing that if I can really delete the mail fully from my main user, I could reintroduce it and all would be well. However, I've scanned the whole disk for my email address and deleted (after backing up) all files I found with the address in. Again, it still seemed to know about the account I removed.
Anyone any ideas?

TS3899 Problems with iPad 2 and yahoo mail.

I find that I have to continuously upload my yahoo mail, and the in box mail does not appear. I have other similar problems and found that my iPad cannot update to newest iOS. Do I need to update my iPad to get better service.

If you have an iPad2, the device is capable of running iOS 7.1 which is the most current version. I can't guarantee that upgrading would solve your problem I am just stating that the device can still be upgraded.

Apple mail has stopped downloading my e-mails from Yahoo sky mail

My Sky e-mails have stopped downloading through Apple mail on my macbook and my iphone 5 but I have another address that still works (also through Yahoo!!). The mail download bar starts up but then doesn't download anything. I can send e-mails from Sky account through Apple Mail but the e-mail doesn't show up in the sent folder. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the account but this has done nothing.

Verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described here:

Also, go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Network > Show: Network Port Configurations, and make sure that the configuration used to connect to Internet appears at the top of the list.
How many accounts do you have and what type are they (POP, IMAP, .Mac)?
Do you have any Mail plug-ins installed? In the Finder, go to each of the following folders (if they exist). What do you see there?
/Library/InputManagers/
~/Library/InputManagers/
/Library/Mail/Bundles/
~/Library/Mail/Bundles/
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. You can easily locate any of the folders referred to in this post by copying the folder path here, doing Go > Go to Folder in the Finder, and pasting the folder path there.
