what can i do about this problem :s it works fine for everyone else

Ok, just a minute ago I was having the same problems and noone seemed to have the fix yet... So, I decided to call my carrier (T-mobile) and spoke with tech support. I specifically asked for a Blackberry Expert (believe me, the other tech support people I spoke with just kept telling me to turn my BB on and off and also made me do a complete wipe which did not fix it). What seemed to be the problem was that my blackberry was set on "voice only" on their Blackberry tool. She then changed it to "data and voice" and made me do another reset. Right after that, it fix all the internet problems I had been having with my Blackberry, I was able to log in to my Blackberry Protect and backup right away and I was also able to add an e-mail account to my blackberry phone.     I changed the sim on my phone and ever since I have the blackberry protect highlighted on my phone.  It says I need to log back in in order for my phone to be protected however everytime I attempt to log in the message "The Blackberry ID service is temporarily unavailable".
    This has been going on for weeks now and my phone is not protected! Is there any reason it says unavailable? what can I do?

    3) Then, with the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

    Dear Experts,
    I have Installed Apex 3.1 on Win2000 Server,Oracle 10gDB & for Oracle HTTP Server from Oracle database 10g products Companian Rel 2,

    i found the status "Valid" when Retrived from dba_registry
    when i tried to Loging the Page using

    What cud be the Problem for this Error, Shall Start over the Installation again or
    Any Fixing i need to do here.,

    4.4.4.1 Modifying the wdbsvr.app File Step is not Done
    as in ORACLE_HTTPSERVER_HOME\Apache\modplsql\cfg\wdbsvr.app
    cfg\wdbsvr.app is Missing, thats i Skipped this part!
    please Do Suggest me in this .,

    I got a freshly installed apex 3.1.2 on Oracle DB 10.2 with OHS/mod_plsql. I can connect to the HTTP Server welcome page (host.domain:7780), but host.domain:7780/pls/apex_admin shows "Service Temporarily Unavailable".

    The following article should help you with this:

    If you're still unable to redeem your code after verifying the characters in the code, you'll need to contact iTunes Store Support for help. You'll need to provide a digital image of the front and back of the gift card as well as the sales receipt for the purchase of the gift card.

    I have had a problem with Office Web Apps/SharePoint 2010 now for over a week. When trying to access PowerPoint Presentations I receive the error:
    I have looked through all of the Technet articles on this error and more, but still I have had no luck. The Excel and the Word viewer both work fine but this doesn't.
    I have checked that the Word, Excel and PowerPoint services are running on the Web Front End Server and also on the Application Server. They are all using the "SharePoint Web Services Default" application pool which has dbcreator access to the
    content database.
    I am receiving an error in the event logs:
    This error reads: "A word or PowerPoint front end failed to communicate with backend machine...." the url then seems to vary between the front end server and the application server.
    This exact same error is also appearing when checking in the ULS Logs. I have been working to repair this for days but I am out of ideas, all of the latest patches and CU's are installed on the servers.
    I would massively appreciate any help given with this.

    In addition, you could try reset account password which is used to set up service application via:
    Go to CA > security > configured managed accounts > modify > change the password now > use the current password > type password > OK.

  • Mini SIM Activation service is temporarily unavailable

    Anyone have any idea how long this will be down for? I've managed to finally get hold of the final 2 digits of the 14 digit SIM serial number of the nano SIM for my new upgrade to find out the activation service is temporarily unavaialble. Can this be activated by calling 150 after multiple laborious keypad selection menus or must I use the online service? Cheers

  • RMS client error: This service is temporarily unavailable

    If users try to consume the document he is getting this error. But if he protect document and then try to consume already protected document, he is able to access it with restricted permission. I did run IRM check, no error. Need help.

    I may be not clear on my question. Let me put elaborate more
    X user logs into the system and protect the document and provide restricted access to Y users
    Y users logs into the system. (He has not authenticated with RMS before)
    Y users try to consume doc, but he gets the error message saying Service is unavailable...
    Now, Y users try to protect the doc (new), which he is able to do successfully
    Y user again try to open the doc which was protected by X, and this time he is able to open doc without any error.
    I am facing above scenario on Windows 7 and Windows Vista with office 2010.
    However, there is no problem with Windows 8 with Office 2010
    I am suspecting this is client issue.

  • How to register a blackberry with the appropriat​e service provider ?

    I've just bought a Pearl 8100. I've inserted my SIM card and the phone is working ok. However I can not send or receive any email and can't access the net. When I bought it, I was told to contact my service provider (Orange - UK) to get the phone set up. That's what I did and I was directed to a web site (w3.blackberry.orange.co.uk) where you have first to register as new user by giving your PIN and IMEI. However I haven't been able to complete the task as a message popped up saying that the phone was already registered with a different service provider and that I had to re-register it with the appropriate one. I personnally never registered the phone before but basically that's what I have to do so I need some help because I have no idea how to do that... Thanks....

    Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
    You will need to contact your carrier for assistance. Be sure that you have an adequate service plan from them to enable your access to their BIS. Be sure that they can properly register your BB into their BIS. If you obtained your BB second hand, it is quite possible that the prior owner did not release the PIN from the Orange BIS...in which case your new carrier won't be able to create a BIS account for you on their network. And, typically, only the owner of the account (at Orange) will be able to convince Orange to release the PIN from their BIS...

    Help!!! I can't watch live or download ANYTHING on the uverse mobile app. I have deleted and re-added the app multiple times. It doesn't seem to matter whether I'm in Wi-Fi or not.     I am sorry about the issues you are having with your U-verse app, but I will be happy to help. What device are you trying to use to access the U-verse app? If you are using an android, these steps helped a previous user:
    1. Removed Lookout as device administrator (Settings>More>Security)
    2. Added Android Device Manager as device administrator.
    3. Clear Defaults and Cache for Lookout in App Manager (Settings>More>)
    4. Reboot

    I've been trying to log in for about an hour or two now and all I keep getting is that message. I changed my password, nothing. Not sure what I should do. I'm about to restart my computer to see if that will work.

    Ok, im sorry, shouldve waited a bit... i have resolved the problem by manually editing the prefs file. My issue at least is caused by being behind a company proxy. * i went here: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Spotify (WINDOWS 8)* opened the file 'prefs' in notepad (File was completely empty for me)* added these lines: network.proxy.addr="proxy.XXXXX.com:8080@https"network.proxy.mode=2network.proxy.user="COMPANY EMAIL ADDRESS"network.proxy.pass="COMPANY ACCOUNT PASSWORD"  Obviously you need to know your company's proxy address and once you add your email address it should log in.It aint pretty though... as the proxy is loaded as HTTPS, there is little or no artwork in Spotify.... There used to be a way round this by changing the prefs file again... (Change the HTTPS to HTTP) but due to the changes in proxy log on in this version, this no longer works... So we have music, just 0 colour in the desktop app... still mildly annoying :)

    This is a vital secure cloud backup to the BlackBerry servers and was used by millions of BlackBerry customers on the BlackBerry Protect on the BlackBerry operating 7 system, but it was not included by BlackBerry on the BlackBerry Protect on the operating 10 system.
    This is vital and needed most urgently so we can do secure and reliable cloud Backups and Restores from our BlackBerry 10 devices to the secure BlackBerry cloud servers.
    All other third party applications to download and use as an alternative, simply do not work and are not stable or reliable or safe or secure.
    This was the only totally safe and reliable and secure cloud Backup and Restore and BlackBerry must bring this feature back as either an update or as a new download, but it must be introduced in to the operating 10 software.
    Please can anyone at BlackBerry or anywhere else tell me if it will be on the operating 10 software in the near future ?
    Also BlackBerry must bring the ( SELECT ALL ) feature to its operating 10 software.
    This was a vital feature on the operating 7 software that has also been left out.
    This feature is vital when wanting to delete or transfer ALL files in a stored location on the phone or SD card.
    If you have for example 100 songs or pictures or documents saved and you want to delete all in one hit, then you would just go in to that folder, for example, just the picture folder if you want to delete all pictures and then you would press >
    ( SELECT ALL ) and all the contents of that folder you selected would be deleted, in the same way, you can also click on > ( SELECT ALL ) on the contents of that folder to transfer those contents in one hit using Bluetooth to another mobile device or computer.
    At this moment when you use a BlackBerry 10 device, this feature is not there and you need to go in to that folder and manually select each and every item that you want to delete or transfer, one item at a time, which is very time consuming and frustrating.
    Does anyone at BlackBerry know if this >
    ( SELECT ALL ) feature will be available for the BlackBerry 10 operating system in the near future in a software update ?
    Can anyone please help ?
    Any information on my above two issues ?

    I know BlackBerry is working on their cloud service but no word on when or just what they will offer in the future.
    As for "select all" that would be nice but haven't heard anything about it coming. It's not in 10.3.1.

  • Blackberry Protect Z10

    Has anyone else had a problem with BB Protect no longer working?
    I only recently got my new Z10 and transferred everything from my old BB to this one. It was fine last week and now it tells me that it is 'unable to connect to the BB Protect' service.
    I tried downloading it again only to be told by appworld that BB Protect is not available for my phone model?! 
    I can log into my online account and it is picking up my location from last week but won't bring up any data.
    Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can sort this out please?

    I connect to BB Protect on the https address
    I can login to BB Protect
    The BlackBerry ID Username is the same everywhere
    First Name, Last Name and Screen name have all been confirmed and any changes made within these fields will be reflected on the BlackBerri ID Details screen such as changing the spelling of your name.
    Any change on the BB does require that I type in the password which has been confirmed.
    I have even changed my Recovery Password and this has been reflected.
    The device GPS has been confirmed - it quickly and accurately knows where I am.
    Black Berry Protect has been turned on and off and on again so many times.
    Location Services is set to ON, Traffice Data Collection is set to on, Loacation based Ads is set to on.
    Mobile Network is set to On
    Data Services is set to On
    Wi-Fi is On and connected to the network
    ***** Here is what worked (partly) *******
    Under Email I noticed that my email account was not conneciting to a network -
    Pulled Battery - drained and powered up the device. 
    ******* Device now associated with my BB Credintials:
    However it still is unable to Play a sound, send a message or locate the device.
    My renewal is a year out and the Iphone is looking better all the time.

  • Problem in reloading contacts by blackberry protect

    Hi.
    I wiped out my phone and used the back-up of blackberry protect. However, the back-up I used was done when I was on a different phone number(the mobile handset and the bb protect account remained the same)
    Everything was backed up successfully except the CONTACTS for which it says that "this data has been wirelessly synchronised with a remote service and cannot be restored by blackberry protect"
    The only application that I have been using since my last back-up is whatsapp.however, I do not think that that has been causing the problem
    I am using the phone in india.service provider is airtel
