Blackberry Q 10 automatically turns on after i have shut it down

Hello, when i shut down my Blackberry Q10, it automatically turns on again after a couple of seconds. I have checked for some new Firmware already, but my device is up to date with the firmware release 10.3.1.1779 Can somebody help me?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
That is a very strange problem. Did anything change just before this behavior started? A new app? An update of some kind? Something else?

  • Z10 Freezing, automatically turning off, battery

I've had my Z10 since Saturday June 1st. So far I'm really enjoying it, having fun playing with it and getting use to it. However, since getting it it has turned off on its own several times and froze a few times. Is this a bug that will be fixed or a temporary thing that will fix itself or should I bring it back?
My other issue is the battery. Charging seems to vary. The other night I plugged it in to charge and after 8 hours it was still charging. Other times it takes a couple of hours.

That is odd eight hours to do charge, something could be wrong with the device inless there any other solutions out there!

Can't get the printer to stay on. After booting up, it cycles through the light indicators, the carriage slides back and forth once, then immediately shuts down.

My BlackBerry z10 turnoff automatically when battery reaches 75%..what we do??Pls help

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs. If it fails, please try it again but increase the wait time in step 4 to 2 hours, and perhaps as long as 3-4 hours. Sometimes this can recalibrate the battery meter.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Good luck and let us know!

  • My fully charged macbook air won't turn on after a forced shut down??

last night i forced my MBA to shut down because it kept automatically shutting down and restarting by itself. after that, i tried to turn it back on and nothing worked. i tried all those tricks by pressing different keys to turn it back on but none of that worked. i only got this computer like 2 months ago so im pretty annoyed right now.

A two month old MBA is under warranty.  An appointment at an Apple store genius bar will put your Air back in operation.
    Ciao.

  • Dropped my iphone while making a phone call and when i picked it up the screen was black and now it will not turn on. I have tried holding down the home and power buttons for over 2 hours and it is not working! help :(

i dont know how to fix this help

Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
    - Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear.  (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
    - Relaunch the App and try again.
    - Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
    - Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
    - Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
    - Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
    - Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137  For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
    - Test the issue after each step.  If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.

  • Firefox opens tabs after I have shut down and reopen

Each time I open Firefox, the program opens multiple tabs that I had searched and reviewed a couple months ago. I have attempted to properly log off Firefox. I have also uninstalled the Firefox program and all its components and then reinstalled the program. I have met the same results. All the tabs reopen each time I open Firefox. I have been happy with Firefox and would hate to have to give up on the program. Please help me.

Hi Janine, do these tabs only appear at startup or do they also appear when you open a new window using Ctrl+n or when you double-click the Firefox desktop shortcut a second time?
''If they show up with Ctrl+n AND every time you use the desktop shortcut:''
You might have accidentally made those tabs your home pages. You can view/edit/reset your home page(s) in the Options dialog. These articles have more information:
    * [[Startup, home page and download settings]]
    * [[How to set the home page]]
''If they show up whenever you use the desktop shortcut:''
These pages might somehow have been added to the shortcut's "target". You can check that by right-clicking the shortcut > Properties, then on the Shortcut tab, the Target should be the following with nothing after it:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
''If they only show up when Firefox starts up:''
Firefox may be set to restore a previous session. Normally this shows windows and tabs from your most recently closed session, so it's strange that you get older ones. If you always want to start with your home page, you can make that change in the Options dialog. This article points the way:
    * [[Startup, home page and download settings]]
    Does any of that help?

  • Why does my MacBook Pro Force Restart After I Manually Shut it Down?

I don't understand. At night when I shut down my computer, the force restart screen comes up and its killing me. I always have external HD's plugged in, so I know this is not good for them either. Please help!

I would recommend that you run your Disk Utility. You can find this under Finder<Applications<Utilities and then Disk Utility. I have had fore restarts happen to me and after running this it went away. Just make sure you select the hard drive you suspect is giving you issues.
         Hope this helps!    - Nate

  • TS3694 Why does my ipod keeps powering off, and when I turned if on, I have to press down the power button and the screen button at the same time ???

Why does my ipod keeps powering off, when I have to turn it on ... I have to press on the power button and the screen button at the same time ??? over and over again. I just got this in December 2011 as a gift.

I am having similar 'freezing' problems with many programs (Mail, Safari, iTunes, etc.). I have done a clean install of Lion instead of an upgrade when it came out. Perhaps something went wrong with my install? I'm thinking about wiping and reinstalling.

  • It says my iPad has 700 mb, but when I try to download a game that is only 300mb it says I have no space available. I have shut it down and turned it back on, and nothing changed. Can anyone help?

I don't know why it won't let me download a game when I have enough space. help please.

I'm not 100% sure of how this works - but it works something like this  -You typically need twice the amount of space required and maybe even more to allow the download to "expand" when it completes. Like on a computer, the download size is smaller than what the finished size of the app will eventually be, so even though the download is only 300 MB, it may expand to a size that exceeds what space you have left.

  • My Mac Mini keeps rebooting itself automatically after I've shut it down!

    Hi All,
Something that has been going on for a few months now is that when I go to close down my Mac Mini, it goes to the white screen, then goes black, and then suddenly reboots, and comes up with something like "Your computer is rebooting because of a problem"....I am running Mountain Lion (latest version).
I can avoid this happening 9 times out of 10 if I go into Disk Utility and do a 'repair permissions', but surely this is WRONG.
I have my Mini plugged into an Apple LED Cinema Display, so problems with HDMI as I've read in other threads.
Anybody else experiencing this problem and anybody resolved it?
    Thanks
    P

  • Power up IP phone Remotely after energywise has shut it down

    All,
We have a situation where we power down half our offices IP phones using energywise. We monitor the power usage using Solarwinds. No problem. However because or PC's are connected to the phones we can't use remote desktop to get to our PC's because the network will be down.
Cisco IP phones don't respond to WOL packets. Tried that. Is there any way we can remotely power up an IP phone outside of energywise if we need to remote desktop to our PC's.

Thanks for the reply, I was just wondering if there any software out there that could power the devices without the users logging into the switch to do it.

  • Macbook freezes and won't turn on after using itunes and going to standby

My macbook pro "locks up" when I am using Itunes and I let my computer go to sleep or to standby mode. It won't turn back on without manually shutting it down and restarting the computer. I have had hardware diagnostics done on it and they all report back fine. If anyone knows how to fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated!!!

The computer may think it is syncing with the iPod while you are attempting to go to sleep, thus is stuck trying to know what to do. Try dismounting the iPod first, and then disconnecting it, and then putting it to sleep.
