Blackberry sync using EAS not working (Q5)

Just quick link, I followed a forum link from Blackberry about resolving one way sync issues, it had a possible resolution step of registering the CDO.DLL file from the exchange/bin folder which I've done and appears to have gotten sync working again.
I'm thinking perhaps something got de-registered when we removed the BES server from our environment and move purely to active sync?
Either way working for the moment, would still appreciate any tips people might have though!

We're having an issue getting sync for calendars working when going from Blackberry Q5's to Exchange. Basically, emails and everything are syncing fine but Calendars are a complete hit and miss. The Exchange server is a2003 server but we've got other devices syncing fine to it (like Samsung S6 and other devices).
The initial sync works, but subsequent ones either don't work or are one way only (from Q5 to Outlook, not the other way). I've been reading online that for some reason a blackberry device can setup a one way sync.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? Its causing a major headache!

Found new drivers for BlackBerry sync, but still not working

I have a new MacBook Pro Aluminum and trying to Sync With Entourage2008.
When the computer first came out 2 months ago PocketMac and MissingSync both would not sync with the BB 8800. I just found on the BB site new USB drivers and now finally the BB is detected by PocketMac.
To make things a little bit more complicated I previously had a PC with Outlook and the data in Entourage was exported from OL and imported into Entourage. I have 600 contacts, 100's of calendar items, 10 tasks and 10 notes.
As a test I disabled contacts, calendar and tasks sync and entered a test note into Entourage. This sync was successfully.
When I try to sync the other items (even just one more at a time) they do not sync. The progress bar just remains at the same place even after waiting 1hr. It never times out and does not produce an error.
Not sure if the import/export has anything to do with the problem as I would assume if it made it into Entourage the actual source shouldn't make any difference.
I have completely uninstalled MissingSync and PocketMac and deleted all pref files and then reinstalled PocketMac but same problem.
Any ideas?

Although you have the new USB drivers for pocketmac, you should first install pocketmac version 4.1.25, then install the driver patch.
Wrt MissingSync, it appears that it will work properly with your new macbook only after you install the latest version of Mac OS X 10.5.6. See https://support.markspace.com/index.php?m=knowledgebase&a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=315.

Change password on the first use - does not work

Change password on the first use - does not work.
Created a user and specified 'Change password on the first use' - when user logs in - the 'Change password' window does not pop- up.
Please advise.

(APEX 4.0.2) I am running into this same issue - if you don't set the password expiration and locking to 'Yes', the user gets into the app without being asked to change the pw.
When you do set expiration and locking - after the user logs on with their temporary password, it does take them to the change password page (4155:50) but the username is blank. Because the username didn't get to the page the old password will never match and you get the "Invalid password" message.
What am I missing? Anyone successful doing this?
Simple application, default authentication, no javascript, HTTP_SERVER, no ssl.

Sync and Bluetooth Not Working

I have an Iphone 4S and an Ipad that will not transfer my itunes music from my PC to the devises. My bluetooth is also not working. I have asked Apple Support and they are unable to resolve the issue. Any suggestions?

To transfer music from your PC to your devices install the latest version of iTunes on your PC, then connect a device using the USB cable. Click on its name in iTunes when it appears, click the music tab, select the music you want on the device, and click "sync".
What part of BlueTooth is not working? You cannot use BlueTooth to transfer music or other files. It is only for audio devices and their controls.

Error - Blackberry App World Is Not Working

Hello plz I really need an urgent help please. For weeks now my blackberry app world is not opening. It's giving me this message. ( an error has occurred and blackberry world will be close. Although this is an old thread, I encountered this error message a couple of days ago on both my old Q10 and new Classic. After I verified that the BlackBerry World website was not down, I searched for a solution.
The BB tech rep told me to turn off the WiFi and try to connect over the data connection. It worked. Then she told me to turn off Data Services and try to connect over WiFi. It worked.
After fits and starts, the solution was simple: Turn off and WiFi and turn it back on again.
I hope this helps others.

HI Jason269. Thanks for your reply, however I wrote that I already have "All events" checked. If All Events is checked and it doesn't diaplay all events, how do I fix? It seems this is a common issue, as I have read many others on here state the same problem.
I believe my problem occurred when I synced my iMac calendar to my iPad calendar using yahoo. Yesterday, I unsynced them on my iMac controls. When I checked my iPad calendar, all of my old entries reappeared - but only for five seconds and disappeared again. So, the data is saved and still there but cannot be displayed, even when I have All events checked. In fact, it only shows my individual entries for the last two months, but does show all my recurring entries. If I switched to last six months, I will see everything for the last six months. If I switch back to all events, it is only for the last two months.
As I mentioned, others on here have expressed exactly the same issue, including the two month example and having used yahoo.
For legal purposes, I need to be able to use the information from my indidual calendar entries in an upcoming court case. So I really need to fix this ASAP!

Iphone 6 and Ford Sync Bluetooth Does Not Work

Brand new iPhone 6 paired with My Ford Sync in a 2014 Escape.
Bad news, the bluetooth phone features simply do not work. You can initiate a call form the Sync and the phone will dial and connect, but 5 seconds into the call the bluetooth disconnects the phone audio and returns you to your radio or whatever source you were listening to.
The call appears to remain active on the iPhone but you can't access it.
Sure hope Apple or Microsoft/Ford step up to fix this soon it is a real show stopper.
Nothing like in the field beta testing.

I had a similar problem with my 2011 Ford Fusion and brand new iPhone 6 received yesterday. I restored my iPhone 5 to my new iPhone 6 when I received it. My iPhone 6 has the same device name as the iPhone 5 did. I was able to pair my iPhone 6 with Sync easily, but Sync would only ring on incoming calls. I could not answer the incoming call or initiate calls through Sync. I was able to correct the problem this morning by:
1) Forgetting This Device (Sync) in the Bluetooth application in the iPhone 6,
2) Deleting All Devices in the Sync Phone Bluetooth menu.
3) Re-pairing the iPhone 6 with Sync.
Apparently the same phone name stored in Sync from the iPhone 5 was corrupting the settings for the iPhone 6 using the same device name.

Blackberry desktop software software not working

I tried to download the blackberry desktop software for my Black Berry Curve 9300 on OS 6. I downloaded it and it says "This program is not a valid Win32 program". I am using Windows XP service pack 3. I checked the system requirements and it says there that I can use this computer.

I just downloaded it from www.blackberry.com/desktopmanager and it works fine. Something is corrupting your download or causing it to be incomplete.

Firefox Sync key was not working (should have). Reset the key and I probably lost bookmarks. Can I restore them?

When I tried to set up the sync service, Firefox said the sync key was not the right one. It should work as I used it on multiple times. The only difference is that this is Ubuntu Oneiric, freshly installed.
Then it offered me to reset the sync key and I did that. It did not say anything about loosing data and I reset it. Now I can't acces my bookmarks.
Is there a way to restore the old bookmarks? I can provide you with all necessary data.

I never received "that" window, every time i try to use sync, it says "Set up Sync", then pair a device or create an account. If i try to create an account, it says my email is in use. I can log into the portal, but not use sync.

1) Make sure you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.

2) On your PC, go to Start > Run and copy and paste the following line exactly (meaning with the quotation marks):

3) The Application Loader Wizard will appear -- click "Next."
4) In the "Connection:" drop-down menu, you should see "USB-PIN: UNKNOWN". Click the "Next" button.
5) You should then see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Hit Next and Finish and you are well on your way to getting your Blackberry back to life. Congrats! Just don't disconnect anything and let the lengthy process finish completely.
NOTE: If you do not see a list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead see the message "The Blackberry Desktop Software does not have Blackberry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator," then you must download Blackberry's Operating System for your carrier and device.

OS10 Hub - Conversation Display - Grouping emails using title not working

Hello,
One great feature of former blackberry and Outlook is the ability of sorting email together if they are relating the same discussion.
Their is an option for this in my Z10, but it doesn't work well at all. I had a discussion with someone using emails and we exchanged pictures and this kind of thing. The hub groups sometimes two messages together but that's it. There is no reliability or repeatability. And when I deactivate the function it is even worse as the few which were grouped together starts to be as unique entry (which is the expected behaviour under such settings).
Is the "Conversation" Display style working well on your handset ? This is pretty basic thing and my old BB 9800 used to do it properlly...

Sync.me application not working

the application "sync.me" was working properly
i removed the application "sync.me" and i reinstall it from my new apple id
the application is not working when i opened it it close directly

I am also have the exact same issure since I installed the new update from the app store. The application closes as soon as it opens. I am running IOS 5.0.1 on iPhone 4S. Before this app was working fine when it was called the Smart Sync app. I dont know if they will release an update to fix this problem.

IPad connected to TV using dim not working with iOS 7.0.2

Since updating my iPad to iOS 7.0.2, connecting my iPad 4 using hdmi to my tv is not working.
In fact, when connected, everything on my iPad is in slow motion. The iPad moves in slow motion. And there is no image being mirrored on the tv. This use to work fine before the update. Any ideas?

Report using charts not work on non-development machine

using visual studio report uses charts. works fine on development machine when I move the web app to a test machine which does NOT contain visual studio, the chart report does not worknote: other reports which only display data records work fine. the space where the charts should be displayed contain the following two lines CrystalReportViewer - CrystalReportViewer1 Error: Fail to render the page. any help would be appreciated

Solution suggested worked for me.
On my test server Crystal was trying to use the c:\temp directory to write the temporary images, my report always ran ok on the test server. On the live server CRW was running under with the ASPNET account and / or my own user account.
I ran FileMon and filtered on the aspnet_wp.exe process across both servers and ran the application up to the point of generating the issue. The FileMon output from the test server showed no issues we as the output from FileMon off the live server showed an access denied message.
I gave access right to the relevant accounts on the relevant folders on the live server and the report ran fine.
