BlackBerry Torch stopped accessing email account

I set up a new email account a few weeks ago through GoDaddy webmail on my own domain, and initially connected my BB to it without a problem. Yesterday, I realized that none of the emails from this account had been coming to my BB for a couple of days. I tried troubleshooting briefly, but I've had similar issues before, and typically resolved them just by deleting the account from the BB and setting it up again.
Only this time, when I tried setting it up again, I got an "Invalid email address or password" error message. It's consistent. I double-checked the address and password, and even went into the GoDaddy admin settings to make sure the password is what it's supposed to be. I've done a full reboot of the phone...still no luck.
I'm still able to connect to the account through my computer's Outlook, so I don't think the problem's on the domain end. But I'm out of ideas for how to fix the problem, and this is my new business email, so it's important to get it working properly. Ideas would be appreciated.

Typing www.blackberry.com/integrate in your phone's browser has been known to resolve many issues associated with setting up email accounts on your phone. Give it a try and see what happens.

5s stopped accessing email for only one account but still accesses it for others on same server

My 5s quit accessing one email account but continues to access the other account. Both accounts use same provider and servers. Any ideas on what has happened? Have re-entered account several times as well as powered down the phone.

Go into Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select the account you are having trouble with. Select the incoming mail server and double-check the username and password. Verify it is being used in all of the correct locations. If it is sending alright, then you do not have to worry about the SMTP server settings.

Blackberry has stopped receiving emails

My blackberry has been working fine for ages, but has suddenly stopped receiving emails. I can still send emails okay. I have tried taking the battery out and putting it back again, but that doesn't help.
I hope someone can help - any ideas?

According to Vodafone UK (who my BB is with) as well as RIM's twitter account (https://twitter.com/#!/UK_BlackBerry), RIM are having technical issues affecting users in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa)
I guess people are rather busy at RIM's data center in Slough working on it!

Can't get outlook 2010 to access email accounts in Exchange server 2010

Hello,
I have 3 email accounts defined in Exchange 2010. Can't get outlook 2010 to connect to them via SMTP, IMAP, or POP3. Keep getting error can't find the exchange server. I use other email clients like thunderbird, eClient and they connect fine.
Any ideas as to what's going on? Is there ans SP1, SP2 for outlook? Not ready for Exchange 2013 yet.

BlackBerry 8800 and adding Email Account

Hello Guys, Can somebody give me a hand here? I’ve just purchased a BlackBerry 8800 phone and inserted a Orange Pay as you Go Sim Card in. During the setup process on email I only have 2 options – I WANT TO USE A WORK EMAIL ACCOUNT and I WANT TO SKIP EMAIL SETUP. Instead of setting your BIS up via the phone, you can go to your carrier's BIS site via your PC to do so. You can find your carrier's site from this page: http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F
One of the reason you do not have the BIS setup option from your phone may due to your carrier didn't provision BIS for your account on the RIM relay, contact them and do confirm.

Not able to access email-accounts

we are using iplanet messaging server5.0, solaris-9
we are encountring with an problem in accessing users' mail account while logging into web mail...
Also, we are having some virtual domains... but the users of virtual domain can easily access their accounts...
only the problem is with users of main domain...
In the error messages- "illegal alias" is shown for each authentication of users of main domain....
help needed!!!!

If you're truly running 5.0, you are VERY far behind. 5.0 was End Of Support Life well over 3 years ago.
The two different problems you note can only be caused by problems within your LDAP infrastructure, or if something else was changed in your setup.
I would URGE you to start out by upgrading to at least 5.2p2, which is publically available. Then switch to "direct ldap" as noted in the 5.2 Admin Guide.

I would help more but I'm on a restricted system. The best option is to go to google and search for your mail provider's settings. A sample of a search in google would be:
" Hotmail Incoming Mail Settings " , " iCloud Outgoing Mail settings " , or sometimes I'll use Yahoo! Answers. The easiest way to navigate Yahoo! answers is via Google.com by running a search like, " Hotmail Incoming Mail Settings Yahoo Answers ".
Alternately you can go to your providers website and search their resources

Blackberry stopped receiving emails

Hi,
this morning my Blackberry suddenly stopped receiving emails. I removed the battery, checked all my settings, no joy. Seems like this issue came up earlier in the week in another part of the world... I am in the U.S.. Anyone have a solution or know what might be causing this?

From my experience, this is affecting BIS, BES, and all services that depend on those (BBM, email, AppWorld, web browsing, application access to internet data, etc.). Troubleshooting specific problems during this outage may be pointless.
Once the outage clears, if things are not yet flowing for you, please try these steps:
1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

If site plan is web basic then email service would not be included , either you would need to upgrade the site else use external email service.
Using creative cloud subscription sites published will be in web basic site plan,

Integrating Microsoft Outlook Web Access email address with a BlackBerry Internet Service account

Hi, I would appreciate some help from anybody that can.
I am a new BB user with a Curve 9300 and have been setting up my device. I have run into a problem and am at a dead end as far as solving it.
KB03133 at http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB03133 describes what I am trying to do, my problem is as follows.
The KB contains 2 sets of instructions for achieving the same result, one, the first one to be done on the device and the second to be done on a PC.
In the first set of instructions, I get as far as step 4, step 5 shows an option "i will provide the settings" I dont have that option available, did I mention that the first thing I did when I took the phone out the box was upgrate to os6 and now I believe that this may have been removed as an option so; is there another way to manually provide email account settings on the device?
In the second set of instructions, going directly to the BIS web page, I cant get past the login page, I have tried to register, I have tried to login, I have asked service provider for passwords and I get one dead end after another, I cannot login nor create an account to login to the BIS web site.
I have managed to add two other email accounts and create a new one from the device using the BIS service on the device but as I understand it the device logs you on automatically and therefore I dont have nor need the password on the device.
Any help would be appreciated, after 10 years as a loyal Nokia user I am now hoping that the decision to move to BB was not one I will live to regret.

When you go the BIS account on the PC, is this the place you were told to go by your service provider? My own has my carriers' logo on the page and they provided me with the login details whilst I was on the phone to them. It is THEIR responsibility to set up your BIS and to assist you.
Whether you try OTA or on the PC, you must have access to your BIS and when you finally get it, setting up the email couldn't be easier.
I cannot see why upgrading to OS 6 would affect email set-up but as you suggest, the option to put email server details in may have been removed. They are not necessary with BIS.
