BlackBerry Travel phantom notifications from previous user

Hello!
I experience the weird issue, when a person who got my old Z30 keeps receiving BlackBerry Travel notifications about MY flights. I mean, I security wiped Z30 before giving it to my friend, I deleted it from BlackBerry Protect and BlackBerry Link. I moved to Passport, signed in on it using my BlackBerry ID. My friend signed in on his Z30 with his BlackBerry ID. We both are using BlackBerry Travel with different BlackBerry IDs, but he keeps receiving notifications about my trips. When he opens BB Travel it shows only his flights, not mine. But notifications about my flights are still coming to his Z30.
So, he kinda knows where I'm flying to and stuff like that. It's good he is my friend and not some stranger. But still, the issue is obvious.
Would really like to know how to fix it.
I'm using BB Travel v3.3.1.7 running on BlackBerry Passport (OS 10.3.1.2072). My friend is using the same OS and Travel version on his Z30.

To further clarify;
The Data plan IS required and additional cost accepted-
The Messaging was never disclosed as a requirement- additional cost unplanned and unacceptable.
Footnote... I have seen on some info blogs mention of resetting network to resolve--- it may be possible I was mis-directed, and further testament to the utter frustration.

In System Preferences>iCloud: Sign Out, reboot and then Sign In with your ID and password.
If Find My Mac is switched on you will be unable to sign out without the previous owners password.

Ignoring Mail Notifications from especified users

I configured Calendar Server and IWC to send mail using Postfix ATM. It works!
The problem now is, the users who more has used the service, add a new event and the notifications are not sent.
A new User, add a new event and the MTA respons:

Ok, I have a workarround:
when I installed convergence, i wanted to configure iwc to have 'EnableInviteNotify' enable by default. in the iwc configuration.xml i edited:

                            <icsExtendedUserPrefs-ceEnableNotifyPopup v="true"/>
                            <icsExtendedUserPrefs-ceEnableInviteNotify v="true"/>then the checkbox of "Send notifications" in Calendar Notifications Options is checked by default to all users.
so, I back to the old configuration:

                            <icsExtendedUserPrefs-ceEnableNotifySMS v="false"/>
                            <icsExtendedUserPrefs-ceEnableNotifyPopup v="false"/>
                            <icsExtendedUserPrefs-ceEnableInviteNotify v="false"/>Now, the user have to re-check manually the "Send notifications" in Calendar Notifications Options.
Now, All e-mails notification are sent.
Where can i report the bug?, because when the user enable/disable this checkbox doesnt appear the ajax "change message".

Cannot disconnect iPhone from previous users Apple ID account.

I just got a used iPhone 4 through a friend. I reset the phone phone today and it is asking me to sign in with the Apple ID used to set up the iPhone. I do not know the Apple ID and am not in contact with the previous owner. Is there anyway to disconnect the iPhone from that account without being in contact with them?

Vanishing email (a bit different from previous user)

My inbox in Mac Mail (and the associated usually contains a load of email, going back ages. On Tuesday, all of the emails older than a week vanished from both my university Exchange server and from Mac mail (local copies).
This event may have coincided with me deleting a POP version of my email account on a computer whose Mail program simultaneously accessed the mails on the exchange server, but that's not certain (I thought I did that last week).
When I restore email to the exchange server inbox that was received before November 25th, it is viewable via webmail interface, and via PC outlook, but as soon as Mail syncs to the exchange account, the message is irrevocably destroyed (ie deleted and not moved to any of the deleted items folders in Exchange.)
This effect manifests whether I access my Exchange account from any of my three computers, variously running 10.4 or 10.5.
Fortunately, my computer is backed up, so I have a copy of the local inbox from before the great deletion event. But if I put the older messages back in my local inbox, Mail fails to display them in the inbox (although the files remain in the inbox folder in user-library-Mail....).
Any ideas how to fix this (and whether it's an Exchange thing or a mail thing) and how to get my inbox to view the older mails (short of creating a proxy mailbox and putting them in there, or doesn't that work). Note that many of the emails have attachments, and losing the links between the mail and its attachment would be annoying...

With regard to getting your backup of mailbox imported: The Import command is designed to work in two steps. First you choose the type of mailbox to be imported (in this case Mail OSX) and navigate only as far as a folder containing mailboxes, and after choosing that folder, a list of eligible mailboxes will be presented. You highlight which mailboxes are to be imported and click on Import. However, the Import function expects the mailboxes to be of the form xxxx.mbox, and not xxxx.imapmbox or any other form. This means that is you have a backup of an IMAP Inbox, for example, then its name will be INBOX.imapmbox, and in a copy of the backup you would need to rename that to be INBOX.mbox because Import does not expect the command to apply to INBOX.imapmbox because that is not a true mailbox but only a folder the keeps messages for Offline use, with the actual Inbox residing on the server and not needing Import.
I think that the Inbox folder for an Exchange account has similar name structure to that of an IMAP, but I currently don't have an Exchange account folder to confirm, but I know it is not the simple xxxx.mbox format, so it would require renaming. Renaming should work so long as the INBOX folder, for example, contains a Messages folder (and Info.plist file, likely) as an INBOX.imapmbox would. If your backup mailbox has the name form of INBOX.mbox already, then simply use the two step selection for what to Import.

Using a previous staff member's work Torch 9800 but it has a password attached to it.
Is there a way to get around this? factory reset? What happens after the 10th attempt?

Yes, just enter the 10 attempts. When the 10th attempt is reached, the device will wipe all the data and you can start over.

Just noticed this the other day myself. I don't know when it actually occurred. Doesn't seem to be repeating. In my case on two different days with all day calendar entries for trips added by BlackBerry travel, and single air travel legs that appeared independent of the trip destinations. The information was not in BlackBerry Travel. It looked like BlackBerry travel burped out a few trip fragments from somewhere and put them in my calendar.
If I could scroll continuously forward in agenda mode in calendar I would look for other bogus trip entries. For now I'm not going to bother.

I have a client required to send notifications to outside email box, and also user will approve this notification through email.(i,e not logged into oracle and approve it) in 11i instance.
i need to send mail from po department to finance department
once finance department approves , then mail back to po department that your notificaiton approved.

as part of this we did IMAP set up
and used the following code. and getting the notifications from Oracle to my mail box.
my main issue is when user approves the wf notifications, it is not showing my specified email address in the attribute #WFM_REPLYTO, always it is showing the IMAP set up wfdev address
what is the value i need to use for this #WFM_REPLYTO
eventhough i am sending the to_address email id to the following attribute(wf_engine.setitemattrtext), the workflow approval not working for that email id.
only if i am using the '[email protected]' in the imap set up, then only approval is working.
how can i override this to_email address value([email protected]) to my desired email address?

If you do not know the password, you can change it in accounts.
You can see all the accounts on the machine in accounts.
Getting to the Account screen
blue apple > system preferences
clicks on accounts icon
click on lock icon if locked.
enter logon password
click on + icon ( left side of screen just above the lock icon )

Can not activate 2nd hand iPad on my Apple-ID / Previous user already erased device from list

Headline says a lot.
I bought a 2nd hand iPad 3.
During start it asked me for the Apple-ID of the previos user.
I contact him to tell how to erase it from his Apple-ID device list.
--> he did so
But it still does not work.
I allready reimaged it with iTunes.
--> Still the same:
This iPad is already used with Apple-ID...
Somebody has a glue?

I could not do that. But the previous user did.
The device (Serialnumber) is still linked to his Apple-ID, after:
Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings
He additionally has to remove this device from his list.
iTunes->Store->show Account--> Maintain devices --> remove device
But this was also done.

If you are referring to Activation Lock, the password for the Apple ID signed into the device is required, there is no way around this. If you do not have the information and cannot contact the previous owner, the device is useless.

Notification with exapnd role check box - get feedback from all users

I have to implement the following Case :-
Send a Notification to an AD hoc Role consisting of many users , wait for a Yes/No Result from each User and an additiona comment ,
register the yes / no reply + coment of each individual user on a follow up table .
After all users have replied , Proceed to next activity where I'll check the results on the Follow up table .
I Think this could be implemented using the Expand Role check box on the Notifification but I do not know how to exactly implemet it .

Regarding long mp3 bookmarks. (my experience with 9780).
I had the requirement that when playing long MP3s (audiobook/podcast) I don't loose my place within the MP3. I am able to update the list of MP3s without loosing my place in the currently playing one. I don't loose my place when connecting the BB to a PC with the USB cable and using USB synch to copy files to the SDCard.
All of these are accomplished by playing MP3s via File Manager/Play Folder feature.
If you use play lists or other methods directly through the BB media player, you will loose your place as soon as you switch off the BB, escape the player, or connect the USB cable.
If instead you use the file browser to go to the folder with the MP3s you wish to play (I have all my podcasts in one folder that I update manually) and select "Play Folder" from the context menu, the media player will open.
If you escape the media player that is opened as per above, the last point in the played MP3 is remembered. This even survives any synchronization I do to the folder via USB or a soft power reset (ALT CAPS DEL). It remembers the spot in multiple MP3s to boot.
This is a great handy feature. I'm glad it works with the 9780/OS6.

Unfortunately the situation as we understand it is that Apple will unlock phones locked by the original owner if they themselves provide proof of purchase. They will not unlock it at all for a subsequent owner who has bought it second-hand, however legitimately.
The auction house have sold you an item which is not working as described and your argument is with them. They must take it back and refund your money. If as you imply the previous owner is absolutely not available then this phone is permanently unusable and there is no way whatever round that.
