got curve today..put in my old memory card(compatible) all my music is showing in media but none of my pictures...any ideas?

you sure pics are on the actual media card and not stored on your old phones memory? What device have you got? What OS Version are u running?
Options > About > third line down for Version number
EDIT: Can you put the media card in your pc and rearrage the folders around to just one folder, not sub folders?

i have a 2gb memory card for my blackberry curve, but the trouble is when i put it in nothing happens keep saying theres no memory card inserted, was just wondering if any1 knows a solution ot this problem that they can help me? if you can please let me know thanks xx

Try a Battery pull please, with the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot device. This will clear all cache like rebooting a PC. Then try again and see if your problem persists.

Memory Card Help!

I have heard that u can delet pictures off of the memory card. I had put a picture on the Memory card & i want it off. How do i delet it off the card?

Hi TechGirl,
If you don't have the image saved on your computer, or somewhere, I would transfer the image to your computer first. Most cameras have a delete button on the camera, or there is a delete image option in the camera menu somewhere. I never delete my images using the camera itself. I transfer my images to my computer, and then I format the memory card in the camera which should delete all the images off the memory card. If I then no longer want a certain image, I simply left click the image file on my computer and then press the delete button. I am assuming this is a memory card that you use in your camera. If your memory card is used for some other device, you could connect the memory card to your computer using a card reader, open the memory card in My Computer, find the image file, left click the file, and press the delete button on your keyboard. 6230 Memory Card help

How can I transfer photos from my 6230 onto my memory card? Pictures aren't saved onto the card when I take them. Thanks.

Hello.
I think your problem is related to the memory location the photos are saved in your 6230. If this is the case, just go to the Camera settings, choose the setting for Images, choose Memory in Use, then select Memory card (or the name of the memory card). In this way, when you take a photo, the photo will be instantly saved on the card rather than on your phone memory which is quite small to store multimedia files.

EnV Touch! memory card help!!!

Hi all, my name is Stephanie. Im using my boyfriends old enV Touch. I inserted the SD (memory) card and I don't know how to get the info from the card onto my phone. Can anyone help me?!?!?!

What information are you wanting to transfer to the phone? If it is pictures, you can view them on the phone from the SD card, but they have to be in the proper folder for the phone to be able to "see" them. Same goes for music.
I recommend removing the SD card, copying all the info you want to transfer or see on the phone to a folder or folders on your computer. THEN format the SD card in the phone. That should create all the folders the phone needs to see files on the card - My_Pix, My_Flix, My_Music or similar for pix, videos, music, etc. You can then move the file sfrom your computer into the appropriate folders on the SD card and they should then be viewable on the phone.
If this doesn't help, post back and we can try to help you further.

N97 memory card, help?

Hi all, I have the latest firmware installed on my N97, but after the latest upgrade (clean install was done, mass mem refromatted, hard reset, etc') On checking over the phone I started getting messages that the Mass mem' was full (Not so) I eventually traced it to my 8 gig mem' card, (is coming up with the message that the memory card is corrupt, I have now tried 3 different mem' cards) cos after this was removed the phone worked perfectly again, I tried reformatting the card via the pc , same problem when the card was put back in, tried a brand new card , same problem, lastly tried a known working 4 gig mem' card, same problem???? anyone have ANY idea whats happening here? and how to fix this???

Do you get the option to format it by following my steps above?
If you do, format it and turn off your phone. Pull out the battery for at least 5 minutes before putting it together and turning it on again.
The phone should rebuild folders on it, and hopefully everything should be fine.
If your phone still rejects your memcard by giving you error messages - it could be that the fw on your phone make it go corrupt, or there is an trouble with hardware parts.
I would try to reinstall the fw first before I do anything else.

Set your DDR power voltage to somewhere between 2.65 and 2.8.
Test your ram with Memtest86
You don't need to put ram in all slots.

No Memory Card, Want Pics Off Phone Memory! Looking Everywhere for answers PLS HELP!!!!!!

I Just recieved a new bb curve 3G from my hubby. I took a few pictures, but have not yet bought a memory card. I want to know how to get the pics i took already OFF my phone an onto my computer. I find it kind of dumb if you can't take the pics off your phone without a card as they are saved to my phone memory... Pls any help would be appreciated! Driving me nuts!!!!

When you get the media card, simply move the pictures to the media card right from the device. The only other way to do it is to install the Desktop Manager software to your computer and get the pictures through that.

Memory Card Issue with my BlackBerry Curve 9300

I have been using the memory card for more than a year. It's a SanDisk or a ScanDisk memory card. It's 8 GB. I didn't use the card that came with my BlackBerry Curve 9300 phone. I'm always trying to delete files or to copy files, most of them are music files from my laptop to the memory card via memory card reader.
Now I am encountering a message that I need to repair the memory card whenever I try to insert it to my phone again. And most of the time whenever the phone automatically repairs it, some files are corrupted or considered as a "lost chunk files".
How can I recover those files? And why did it happen or always happen in the first place?

So what I did is to copied everything to my laptop then reformatted it completely.
It kinda solved the issue but for how long will I won't be experiencing the "repair memory card" issue and the "lost chunk files" issue?
Do I need another program to reformat the memory card and not to use the one that comes with every windows computer?
Does using a memory card reader or using a memory card adapter (for the microSD card) corrupts the memory card?
I have been researching on how to completely recover the files but I'm a bit confused.
There are a lot of recovery programs out there.

I think you should try each and everyone of the solutions suggested in the link I provided, given that it covered both harware and software suggestions. And always reset the device by removing the battery whilst the device is powered-on. Leave the battery out for a minute or 2 after each step.

Hi, I've seen this topic on here already but none of the things you mentioned actually worked for me. my blackberry is brand new this morning (22/10/2011) so there is no way it could have been damaged... i took the memory card out of my blackberry storm and put it in this one, and it didnt work, so i put the one i got with this phone in and that didnt work either. any ideas would be amazing?

Well, for starters, make CERTAIN the card is inserted correctly... so the contacts touch as intended.

How do I upload pictures to PC from BlackBerry's main memory (no microSD memory card)?
I could do this with the original PC software I got in November 2009. I got a new PC and loaded the latest Blackberry Desktop Software and it only looks for the memory card.

Help needed regarding my memory card

I connected my phone to my laptop to watch a video off my phone but when I disconnected it all my file disappeared. So I thought, "great my memory card has been formatted." I just knew that it meant starting over. Every time I download something, it says 'saved' but it doesn't display on my phone.
