Hey stronk29,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
When was the last time the BlackBerry was picked up by the Mac?  Also are you using the BlackBerry usb cord that came with the BlackBerry.  Try removing the battery and placing it back in.  Wait for the BlackBerry to come up and then plug it in via USB.

  • 2G Iphone wont connect to MacBook

My wife has a MacBook that recently lost it's hard drive. It was actually warrantied (after 4 years). I restored her laptop using time machine. I tried to connect her 2G iPhone to back it up and iTunes did not recognize that there was an iphone connected. I connected her phone to my MacBook Pro which immediately recognized the iphone in itunes. I upgraded the iphone software to the most recent OS. I also ran repair permissions 3 times on the mac book and also ran Disc Warrior and Drive Genius. I still have no success in connecting the iPhone to the MacBook. I know the USB ports are working as I connected a portable USB drive to these ports and it booted. Any Suggestions?

On the MacBook, reinstall the latest version of iTunes (no need to uninstall anything first). If that doesn't work, remove and reinstall AMDS:

  • DLink router wont connect with MacBook Pro

Hello Everyone... I need a little bit of help on this one!!
My mom just bought a brand new MacBook Pro (yay, she finally switched!) , but for some reason I can not get her MBP to connect to their wireless. The Airport card will no even find the network to connect to. There is not a password set and asking my parents they are not sure if there was a cd or anything to set it up. They have a DLink router that is several years old (DI-624 is the model #) and I have been scratching my brain to figure this out and can not get it!! There are several posts that give suggestions, but none seem relevant to my problem.
Any help would be awesome and thank you sooo much for your help!!

assuming your mum's previous computer was/still is able to connect to the DLink, it probably means that SSID Broadcast in the wifi settings (of the DLInk) has been turned off. which means nothing can 'see' the DLink that hasn't connected to it previously.
you'll need to temporarily plug the MBP into the DLink via a Cat5 Ethernet cable, log into the DLink's config website (probably http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1), and check the wifi settings. no install CD required
u said no 'password' had been set. do you mean no wifi encryption had been configured? you'd be well advised to if there's anyone living within 100m of your Mum . while you're at it, see what encryption settings have been set up there / are available. if it's WEP (or no encryption at all as you suggest?), you'd be well advised to change it to WPA. WEP is now hopelessly broken (easily crackable within a minute with the right tools). just be aware that any change here will affect any other wireless device that's also using the DLink.
if WPA is not offered, goto the DLink website and check for new firmware...

  • Nike + wont connect to Macbook pro

I recently updated my macbook pro to the mountain lion and when I connected my nike fuel band; the nike connect shows in the dock and disappears. I have uninstalled and have gone  thru all of the trouble shooting with Nike. We tried to connect on an older version (e.g. lion) of mac (using another computer) and it worked. However, after updating that macbook it no longer recognized it as well.

I think the only reason you would require a Bluetooth connection between an iPhone and MacBook Pro is to tether the phone to the laptop. And tethering isn't allowed with the iPhone on the AT&T network, so this is kind of irrelevant.
And I don't think Apple is to blame, so the OP is way off base on this one.

  • Wireless keyboard wont connect to Macbook Pro...

Hello everyone, I've found myself in a little bit of a situation today. I have an early 2011 Macbook Pro, the keyboard does not work due to water damage, and i've been using a wireless keyboard for a while now. I had to restart my laptop for an update and when the laptop turned on the wireless keyboard would not connect to the bluetooth, which now means I can no longer sign in my account.
is there a way i can fix this problem?

Iphone/ipad supportes bluetooth for stereo speakers/headsets, handsfree telephone devices/headsets, some keyboards, some peer to peer apps, and internet tethering if provided by the carrier.
Otehr than these it will not connect to a phone/computer/device

  • My iPhone 3GS & iPad 4 wont connect to my Macbook

Hello, my name is Dave. I have two problems with Apple products.
I've been trying to upload music to my iPhone 3GS and iPad from my Macbook.
         - iPhone 3GS problem
I have a 32GB iPhone 3GS with 6.1.6. I want to upload music to my phone, but I cant. I can connect my iPhone to my Macbook, and it wont even charge it, closed or not. I haven't tried putting my iPhone into recovery mode yet, only because it wont even charge from my Macbook. I followed Glenn Carter's instructions from this link. Iphone wont connect to macbook
"Well, I may have discovered a fix, or at least a work around for this.
Quit iTunes if open, and go to Home Folder/Library/Preferences.
    Scroll down to
    com.apple.iTunesHelper.plist
Move it to the Trash (but don't Empty it yet).
Log out of your account (or reboot), and then log back in. Now, without launching iTunes, connect your iPhone and see if iTunes launches on its' own.
Let us know your results. Cheers!" -Glenn Carter
         -iPad 4 problem
My second problem is with my 32GB iPad 4 with 8.1. I am having a similar problem to what is going on with my iPhone. My iPad will connect to my Macbook and iTunes, but will ask me to enter my passcode to gain access. The problem is, I will enter my passcode, it will read for a second, then come back with the same thing. It shows up with this message.
"iTunes could not connect to the iPad “David J. Botelho's iPad” because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPad before it can be used with iTunes."
It will ask me to try again, and I keep trying. It still comes up with the same message EVERY time I try to enter my passcode to gain access.
         I have a Macbook 5, 2 with Mac OS X 10.6.8(10K549) and I have iTunes 11.0.4.
This is very annoying. I would appreciate it if someone could solve either one of my problems, or both. Thank you for your time.
         -Dave

Then, after a few times of disconnecting and reconnecting my iPad to my Macbook, this shows up....
Not even an iPhone !!! VERY confused.

  • New Macbook Pro Wont Connect to Internet

I just got a Macbook Pro today and it wont connect to the my wireless connection. The only thing I can think of is when I was in the start up it ask what I connected to the internet with and because I was not within my own network I press "This computer does not connect to the internet" option. How do I change this?

I'm using a Linksys WRT54G and ran into these exact symptoms today. After downloading all available updates, dwiddling with a bunch of stuff I didn't really understand (but that's never stopped a hacker like me), getting frustrated in trying to figure out how to either make a reservation with a local Mac Store Genius or talk to a real person at Apple Support I tried unplugging my wireless router and resetting it. My computer came up and is now working fine... go figure.
I've got to admit that I was ready to panic after looking at the discussion board. I'm an old PC person and now consider myself a "convert" to Macs. Glad it didn't let me down.

  • MacBook Pro Retina Wont Connect back to Monitor

    Hey Everyone,
I have a MacBook Pro Retina Early 2013 15in that is running OS X Yosemite - 10.10.2 - Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB
At Work for the past 1.5 years i have been connecting to a Dell Monitor via a DVI to HDMI Cable to use as my primary screen and have never had any issues. During the day I often present on the projector in the BoardRoom a Dell 4610X using a direct HDMI cable.
The issue: Ever since I have updated my laptop to Yosemite, every time i connect my macbook to my monitor after its been connected to the projector it will no longer connect. The monitor will recognize that there is something connected but it wont show anything. Even if i try another display in the office the same thing happens. The issue will always resolve if i restart the computer.
Recently I had an issue with the Logic Board and it was replaced by an Apple Certified repair shop. This issue was happening even before the logic board was replaced and it is still having the same issues now, so I don't believe its an hardware issue.
Although this issue is not critical, its a nuisance to re-start my laptop each time i get back to my desk after a meeting in the boardroom...
I would high appreciate some help on this!!
    Thanks in Advance

    Something else to check ..
Open System Preferences > Network then select the Wi-Fi tab.
Drag the school wi fi network name to the top of the list.
You can open System Preferrences by clicking the System Preferences icon in your Dock
Or click System Preferences from your Apple menu icon top left in your screen.
    Or, from your Applications folder.
