BlackBerry Z10 After Update Crashes

Hi guys,
This is my first time using a BlackBerry phone. I have is a BlackBerry Z10. One morning, I got a notification to update the phone from 10.0 to 10.1 so I updated it. Then after the restart, I've experience lots of issues and I don't know how to get it back to its functional state:
* Crashes on: Calendar, BBM, BlackBerry World, Remember, Music, Story Maker, Foursquare, Games, Clock, Compass, File Manager, Print To Go* Doesn't load/continue: Phone, Text Messages
* Systems Settings > Account doesn't load/show anything
* BlackBerry Hub is just a black screen, no notifications
* Opening a PDF in Adobe Reader would crash
* Screen Orientation in Browser is distorted
Here are the solutions I tried:
* System Wipe - Didn't worked.
* 5-Swipe Trick - Didn't restarted the Hub.
* Access Music/Games to access App World - Music/Games themselves crashes
* Access appworld://games, appworld://parentalcontrols - App World just immediately crash
* Access Settings > Parental Controls > BlackBerry World - It didn't load.
I tried to update the phone after the factory reset, but the problem still persists.

Sorry to hear you're having an issue with your BlackBerry Z10.
We would need to analyze device logs on this issue to further investigate.
Contact your mobile service provider and ask for a support ticket be opened with BlackBerry

Here is a KB that discusses that error:Article ID: KB36747 All data is deleted following a manual restart of the BlackBerry 10 smartphone and a blue LED is displayed during boot upHopefully it contains something useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you. If it does not apply, then the next recommended action is for you to do an OS reload via LINK.

iTunes 7.0.2 FIX ("Have tried all 'fixes' suggested but iTunes STILL not opening").
1. Uninstall iTunes and QuickTime.
2. Do a search in the C:\ drive for "QuickTime". Delete EVERYTHING that pops up.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Install QUICKTIME ONLY
5. THEN install iTunes......and IT WORKS.....Just remember to install QuickTime FIRST.

Failure to sync contacts and calendar from Outlook through BlackBerry Link after update

Hi everyone,
I have both z10 and z30. I have been syncronizing my Outlook contacts and calendars to both of them through Blackberry Link. My z10 automatically updated several days ago and I lost everythiing on the phone including contacts, calendar, texts, phots, etc. And then the same thing happend to my z30...
Now I am trying to sync my Outlook contacts and calendars to them through Blackberry Link as I always did but it turned out unsuccessful. It stops at 'Getting status from Blackberry calendar' and it also pops out a message saying 'BLACKBERRY-7D1B Sync was unsuccessful. An error has occurred during an attempt to access to device data.'
I already tried to reinstall Blackberry Link and reset my phones but neither of these worked out.
Please help. Thank you!

This is exactly what I am dealing with. Blackberry Link will work great for awhile and then something happens and I can not sync my contacts. I have spent many hours and days trying to fix this to no avail. BB support has been great but I still go through a long process each time. This week I finally gave up and started using the Microsoft Hotmail Outlook Connector since my company does not offer Active Sync or Exchange. It works flawlessly. I would dedfinitely check it out. If you swith to a Widows Phone or Android this is one of the options they recommend you use.
In a nutshell Link is awful and BB should be ashamed of the product they put on the market. I will only use it for syncing pictures and documents. Good luck!

Blackberry Z10 Software update 10.1.0.273

Hi..
I got a message for the update of my blackberry Z10 software to 10.1.0.273... When I read review of it, I got mixed response... Lots of people are complaining for:
1- Not able to send SMS
2- Battery draining very quickly
3- Phone getting heated very much
4- System Setting not working...
Please suggest shall i update my OS or wait for new release????

I updated my phone yesterday and worked perfectly for a couple of hours, and faced all the above mentioned issues. No need for links, I am experiencing all the above issues personally and on top of this I can't sync my mails, contacts or calendar via exchange. I travel a lot and depend on my BlackBerry for mails. Or else honestly I wouldn't even have thought about using anything other than an iPhone with the great apple customer care.
Really the Z10 was BlackBerry's last chance with me.

I have update my BlackBerry 8830 world edition, after updation is complete, some applications like browser, maps and other applications are removed. i have set my menu to show all but these apps are also not shown in hidden. but when i see in applications these apps are there but not coming in my menu, how im gonna use these apps now? please reply.

Hello,
The simplest way is to, on a PC (you cannot do this on MAC):
1) Make sure you have a current and complete backup of your BB...you can find complete instructions via the link in my auto-sig below.
2) Uninstall, from your PC, any BB OS packages
3) Make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

4) Download and install, to your PC, the BB OS package you desire:

It is sorted first by carrier -- so if all you want are the OS levels your carrier supports, your search will be quick. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To truly seek out the most up-to-date OS package for your BB, you must dig through and find all carriers that support your specific model BB, and then compare the OS levels that they support.
5) Delete, on your PC, all copies of VENDOR.XML...there will be at least one, and perhaps 2, and they will be located in or similarly to (it changes based on your Windows version) these folders:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
C:\Users\(your Windows UserName)\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
6a) For changing your installed BB OS level (upgrade or downgrade), you can launch the Desktop Software and connect your BB...the software should offer you the OS package you installed to your PC.
6b) Or, for reloading your currently installed BB OS level as well as for changing it, bypass the Desktop Software and use LOADER.EXE directly, by proceeding to step 2 in this process:

Note that while written for "reload" and the Storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or reload any BB device model -- it all depends on the OS package you download and install to your PC.
If, during the processes of 6a or 6b, your BB presents a "507" error, simply unplug the USB cord from the BB and re-insert it...don't do anything else...this should allow the install to continue.
If you are on MAC, you are limited to only your carriers sanctioned OS packages...but can still use any levels that they currently sanction. See this procedure:

Cannot access music after update crashed!

I tried to update my itunes but an error occured and now there is no music AT ALL. I've got my ibooks and such, but no music. Should I uninstall itunes and download it again?

BlackBerry z10 got updated to 10.2.1.2799 phone switches off below 60% 40% 30% :(

What I'm really upset about the Current update of BlackBerry Z10 10.2.1.2799 is battery switches off below 60% 50% 40% etc...Earlier it was below 30%.
Its been just a month back bought the new set but these problems r really disappointing :'(

Then replace the charger. It's either the battery meter, the battery, or the charger. All have simple solutions.

Blackberry Z10 Software update 10.2.1 stuck

Hi I need help urgently.
Updated my bb two days back to the newest update 10.2.1. The update installed fine, but hub was not loading nor was I able to open any app , it crashed immediately back to screen . I dont use fb,twitter, or any social apps.
Anyway, I restarted the phone, and the boot screen with b b logo ang glowing ring around it started showing, it loaded till only a cm was left and i let it sit through the night and in morning there was still no load. it was stuck there even after 8 hours.
So i pulled the battery and restarted, same thing, it loaded back to 95% (this time it showed a percentage rather than justthe glowing ring) and it got stuck at 95%
IS this normal? right now its still stuck there its my second day without being able to use my phone and i need to access my emails... what should i do? why is it taking so long.
Please help!

Can u explain a bit how u upgraded with link?
I conenct my phone to PC while its still stuck on 100% i dont see any option to upgrade on link instead of doing a factory reload

HT201210 Restoring my pictures etc after update crash

I clicked on the ios 7.0.6 update. Shortly after it started, an error came on stating the iphone had to be "restored". I elected to have it save my Contacts. After it came back on, I tried to go to the backup on my computer. It couldn't find any backups. I did find it but it was an old backup that didn't have all of the last data/photos etc. I've entered for several weeks. I searched for many hours but cannot find any recent backup folders etc. Does anyone have a suggestion where to look? I will appreciate any help you can give me.

Most likely the device has been hacked or jailbroken to unlock it. Updating has very likely bricked the device.

Blackberry Z10 OS Update

After performing the update, it has become stuck on "Step 2 of 2 - Installing 711KB of 341MB (0%)"
I've tried to carrry on the installation by connecting it to the computer and updating from there but it only ends up returning with a 'fatal error'.
I have not touched the device since the update, it has been constantly connected to the charger and left alone.

Tried that! Also tried switching from Landline provider to Mobile network, both WiFi, and it makes no difference!

You may try do "hard reset".
Press and Hold "*" + "3" + "call button" while you power on the phone

BlackBerry Z10 OS Update + WiFi Problems

Hi,
Having updated yesterday, Saturday, to the latest OS I have noticed that my WiFi connection keeps being dropped. To use Browser, or any other App, I have to restart my phone. The WiFi then works until I stop using the phone. When i next wake the phone the WiFi is still connected but not working.
Any ideas?
