Blackberry Z10 has deleted all my emails from all my accounts...also it has deleted emails from server side (OS Rev. 10.1.0.4181)
It's happened a bad thing.
My Z10 (OS 10.1.0.4181) has decided to delete, from all my email account , each emails from july to today!!!! It's unacceptable!!! I have paid 700 Euro for a smartphone that delete my email?! It has deleted also emails from the server!!!
WTF!!!
Who pay for damage that I had?! So Blackberry, wake up! I am so disappointed!

What type of email accounts are added to the BlackBerry Z10? Are they all POP3 and IMAP accounts? Also when a message is removed from the BlackBerry smartphone it will remove it from the mail server, this is by design.
Did you do any software updates recently?

using an ipad will use the email address since you can't make a phone call. see the link.
Your basically calling/emailing yourself that's why your getting a busy signal. -
My iPad Air had to be replaced i went to the apple store to get a new one. we started the download at the store and I returned home to finish downloading from my iCloud account and it has taken 19 hours so far. Am I doing something wrong?

Don't worry, it doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong, rather it may be that the connection was interrupted after you left Wi-Fi and returned home. My email recently changed and so I updated my Apple ID to reflect my new email, but my Icloud account still shows the old email as the username on both my Iphone and Ipad and for the life of me I can't figure out how to change or delete it. My password doesn't work with the old email address. When I look for my old email address in the Apple ID support area it says that the ID doesn't exist. Help!!!
You have to go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your updated credentials. This deletes the account and your synced data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing to a different account, your data will be synced back to your device when you sign back in.

Yes the Apple ID is the thing that ties your devices to you and shares your information and content between them.
If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

My Contacts are coming from my ICloud Account. I want it to come from my GMAil Account. I can remove it from ICloud, but Contacts isn't an option under GMAIL. What can I do? Is there a way to merge my gmail contacts to icloud?
If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Outlook is an email client, not an email account. If your email account is a POP account
Go to Settings>Mail, contacts, calendars>Your email account>Advanced>Delete from server>Never.
If your email account is IMAP, you can't prevent that. IMAP accounts sync across devices. -
Blackberry Z10 to Passport. Did I lost all my application ?

I have a blackberry z10 with couples of app that I paid: Remote Desktop Connection, Torque, Gadget Box, Tiny Cam Monitor Pro, lot of EA Games, etc.
I have OS 10.2 and in the next couple of week I will switch my z10 to a new BB Passport. I have appworld account and I want to know: when i'm going to proced the switch did I will lose everything ? Or it will be possible to transfer the application in my new passport ? At the same time I'll ask the same question with my Amazon App Store.
Thank you for your help. Very Appreciated.As long as you use the same BBID on the new device then you'll be able to download apps that are available for the Passport. if a developer hasn't made their app available for the Passport then you won't be able to.

After upgrading to ios5 all my sent messages disappeared,my deleted messages returned,a couple of which I also cannot delete!Anyone any ideas?I am thinking I should have stayed with ios4,as ios5 seems to be pitched at iPad 2 users.

FYI, I use the POP mailserver as I need most of the information to be loaded onto my PC while on a plane / not connected to the interenet.
The primary use of mail on my iPhone is to be available as much as possible - even when I'm away from my office.

After copying my emails to a Gmail account I have lost the attachment from the emails
I have two accounts configured in Thunderbird. One of them isn't for a Gmail account and the other one is for a Gmail account. I've just made a backup of my emails from the first to the Gmail account. I have followed the guide help step by step. When the process has finished I had all my messeges in the Gmail account and I could read any of them, but the attachments were lost. So, I have made the copy again putting the emails in their original folder. After that, I can read the emails and I have access to the attachments.
I've repeat this process two or three times and it happens in the same way. So, how can I make this copy (backup) without losing the attachments?

Change email address on my account, now can't purchase content from aTV?
I recently changed the email address associated with my Apple account, and now when I try to purchase something through my Apple TV, it shows my old email address and then when I enter my password it denies me cause it doesn't recognize the old email address.
How do I get my Apple TV to recognize the fact that my Apple ID and email address for my account has changed?Try making a purchase from the iTunes on the host computer, maybe there is a new 'agree to terms' box you have to check or something because you changed your account information - that sometimes works.

Not able to get mail from windows live account.
Firefox can find plugins in several locations, but Firefox 21 changed the location of the "shared" plugin folder so older installers like the Microsoft Windows Media Plugin no longer drop the DLL file in the correct location.
There apparently are two ways to address this:
(1) Change a Firefox preference so that Firefox checks the old location. Here's how:
(i) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(ii) In the filter box, type or paste '''plugins''' and pause while the list is filtered
(iii) Double-click '''plugins.load_appdir_plugins''' to switch its value from false to true.
This will take effect after you restart Firefox.
(2) Copy the plugins folder to the new location. Here's how on Win 7 64-bit:
Open a Windows Explorer window to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
Right-click and copy the '''Plugins''' folder
Double-click the '''browser''' folder to open it
Right-click and paste
Right-click the new copy of '''Plugins''' and rename it to '''plugins'''
After restarting Firefox, the plugins in that folder should now be available.

I have an iphone4 (Verizon) and an iPad (AT&T), and starting this morning, neither one is receiving my mail from Yahoo. I can send an email from Yahoo on both devices, but I can't see any messages. It's clear that both devices know how many messages are in my inbox and how many are unread (I get a "Load More Messages" notice. Any ideas on how this can be fixed? After reading thru some discussions, it looks like the new operating system may be to blame. I only updated in the last few days... Help!
